Laurel Kagay: Just Friends with Wes Hayden

Wes Hayden's mystery "girlfriend" from The Bachelorette has surfaced - and says Jillian Harris has nothing to worry about as far as being two-timed.

Laurel Kagay sat in shock at home as ousted Jake Pavelka returned to the show to rat out Wes for being in a relationship while on the ABC show.

“I was like, ‘What?’” Laurel told People in an interview today. “There was this pause before he said my name. Then he said it quite a few times.”

But Laurel Kagay, owner of Peach Body Boutique in Austin, Tex., says she and Wes are just friends: “I’m absolutely not with Wes, nor would I be if he were going on a show to be with another girl,” she says. “That’s absolutely crazy.”

As for the confusion, she did admit that “I think Wes did say something about his ex-girlfriend. Maybe he said he still cares about me or whatever."

"Maybe Jake blew that into something else. We are good friends and do go out to lunch together, so I can see how people could think we’re together.”

Amazingly, Laurel is also linked to another famous name in The Bachelor franchise - Brad Womack, who chose no one on his season finale.

They dated for four years, Laurel says. Wow.

Oh, and finally, Laurel Kagay has also dated Collin Evans, who was briefly a contender on The Bachelorette season starring Jen Schefft.

Sounds like she has a reality TV-fame seeking type!

What do you think? In light of this revelation from Laurel, do you see Wes differently? Should Jillian Harris choose this "bad boy" singer?

The Bachelorette Recap: Week Seven

Five hometown dates.

Two "surprise" comebacks.

Two more eliminated suitors.

This week’s episode of The Bachelorette had at all.

The lovely Jillian Harris was prepared to eliminate one guy, but the surprise return of Ed from his self-imposed exile made her choice even more difficult.

There was also the matter of Jake coming back to warn her that Wes has a girlfriend. If it seemed staged, that's because it absolutely was.

In any case, can anyone stop Kiptyn Locke (below) from winning the title?

Who stayed? Who got the boot? Did Wes survive Jake's attempt to sabotage him? And did Ed make the cut in his bid for another shot?

The Bachelorette Recap: Week Six

Eight dudes. Five roses. Many ulterior motives. One foot fetish.

Last night on The Bachelorette, lovely Jillian Harris sent three more guys packing, narrowing her group of potential husbands to five, with the always-entertaining "hometown" visits on tap for next week's episode. Hot stuff.

Tensions ran high as Wes boasted of being there only for his music career, Tanner P. dropped F-bombs (and his pants) and Michael was desperate to pull out all the stops and prove he wasn't an immature 25-year-old.

Who stayed? Who got the boot? Which "perfect" guy was unexpectedly eliminated, but may be planning a late-season return (Jake)?

The Bachelorette Recap: Week Five

Last night on The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris sent another fella packing, while one withdrew from the show of his own volition, choosing work over her!

At the end of the night, only eight men remained, including two who most fans already love ... to hate with a passion. It's getting better every week.

Who stayed? Who got canned? Who just up and left?

The Bachelorette Speaks: Jillian Harris Chose the Right Man!

Jillian Harris admits that she wasn't the ideal Bachelorette candidate.

But she sounds pleased with her decision to star on the show, as the Canadian cutie tells OK! that she's found the right man. Here's what else she had to say:

On becoming The Bachelorette: I'm a super-real and down-to-earth person, so I understand that it's a crazy and unrealistic way to meet somebody, but I thought I would give it a try.

On choosing the right man: I'm a firm believer that I made the right decision. The relationship failing is a fear, but I can't control that. If it happens, it happens. I will be in the same place that I was before this, which is a great place.

On moving on from Jason Mesnick: I knew pretty early on that he had chosen Melissa [Rycroft] and because she had become one of my good friends – you know how it is when you might think somebody is cute and then they start dating your friend and you get over it right away? So that helped, because I was so happy for [them].

David Good Defends Man Code, Brutal Behavior on The Bachelorette

Ironically, David Good displayed very bad behavior on The Bachelorette this week.

During alone time with Jillian Harris, the suitor often referred to her "tits," appeared to go in for a grope and got rejected when he tried to kiss her. Just a poor showing all around, dude.

Following his elimination from the show, Good spoke to reporters. He was asked about his constant referral to "man code" during his time in the house, especially in light of the revelation that some guys on the show might have a girlfriend; and that Tanner P. relayed this information to Jillian.

"I really like Tanner, I really respect him, and he just doesn't seem like the guy that would go out and, I'll say this, 'break man code' and do something like that.  And as far as I'm concerned that is definitely, definitely breaking man code," David said, adding:

"You don't go tell Jillian that there are some guys on the show that might have girlfriends, you know what I mean? You don't do that.  And you especially don't hint about one [guy] in particular.  You just don't do something like that."

The Bachelorette Scene

Back up a second, David. Man code? Please explain.

"Man code is like I said, I grew in the country and I'm a country boy at heart.  I'm as blue collar as they come... and there's just a certain mentality about blue collar people like us.

"It's funny, I don't know how to explain it, there's just certain things you do and you don't do.  And there were some guys on the show - I won't name any names - who were obviously raised differently, which is fine, but it's just something I'm not used to it and people were saying certain things that blew my mind that you just don't say about other guys."

Okay. But what about your aggressive behavior toward Jillian? Is that how a real man acts?

"That was 1% of me as a person and that was the 1% that is the bad part of David Good and they decided to take that 1% and run with it. It was kind of upsetting because I'm a very outgoing and funny and comical person and for America to only see that one side was really a loss for...  the show and definitely for me as a person."

In closing, David wants to make one thing clear: he didn't grab Harris' breasts!

"I never grabbed for her boobs.  That was the third time I had to pull her shirt up, I was trying to help her out. That's what I'm saying, nobody saw that was the third time I'd warned her that 'Hey, I'm sorry your shirt is falling down and your bra is sticking out.'  I was trying to help her, I never reached for her boobs or anything like that for crying out loud."

The Bachelorette Recap: Week Four

Last night on The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris began to fall for a guy we all knew was a frontrunner from the start, and bid farewell to a neanderthal.

At the night's end, only 10 men remain. One of whom may or may not have a girlfriend, and who may or may not be there to promote his music.

Will Jillian see through the ulterior motives of some of her suitors? Who got the rose and who got the axe on the make-or-break two-on-one date?

Sasha Petrovic Speaks on Bachelorette Dismissal

Sasha Petrovic, who became the first dude sacked by Jillian Harris on a one-on-one date this season on The Bachelorette, had some interesting thoughts about the show, its star and the remaining guys vying for her heart.

Some excerpts from his postmortem conference call yesterday ...

On Jillian: "She's a cute girl, but not that attractive up front. Personality was really nice and sweet, but nice and sweet, that only gets you so far."

On Juan: "The whole house was against him. It was like instantaneous. Everyone was on it, but David just hates the guy. He's like, 'He's a snake. He's this he's that.' He will bury himself. Everyone thought Juan was a spy."

On David: "His dad had three heart attacks [by age] 50, so it just runs in the family. Some things just bug you. Dave just has a personal mission to almost destroy [Juan] and just make sure he doesn't move forward."

The Bachelorette: Sasha

On Wes: "Wes is an entertainer. Let's say he's there for the honest reason; he's going to get publicity for his music career anyway. He's a smart guy. I don't think he came on The Bachelorette just for that reason."

On Kiptyn and Ed: "If I had to put money on one guy [to win], it would almost be a coin toss between Kiptyn and probably Ed. I think her and Ed see eye-to-eye; he does have a different sense of humor, a little dryer."

"And Kiptyn also seems like a pretty safe bet. He's an older guy. He lives on the West Coast as well. He's the guy that never does anything bad, but never does anything to differentiate himself."

The Bachelorette Recap: Week Three

Last night on The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris sent the first guy packing following a one-on-one date this season, as well as two more dudes at the end.

At the end of the night, only 13 men remained. One of whom is possibly a psychopath. David (below) seems intent on killing Juan, only half-jokingly.

Some of the favorites (like country singer Wes) stood out again, while some upstarts emerged in the epic quest to find love with the Canadian cutie.

The Bachelorette Recap: Week Two

Last night on The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris sent her suitors on a scavenger hunt across L.A., and played some pickup basketball against them (with the help of the Harlem Globetrotters) in an effort to weed out the pretenders.

At the end of the night, only 16 men remained, with four sent packing. A few favorites are already emerging as our girl's quest for love progresses.

Who survived? Who went home? What twists did Jill have in store for the guys between the start of the two-hour episode and the rose ceremony?
