Steve-O Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

Steve-O went as far as his limited talent, and good-natured humor, could take him on Dancing with the Stars. He was eliminated from the show last night.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba seemed sad to see him go.

“He’s the most kindest and uplifting and dedicated person. I just fell in love with the person behind the dancer,” she said.

Poor Rumba

The Rumba proved to be the final performance for Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer.

While never mastered the Waltz or the Rumba, Steve-O said he enjoyed the experience.

“I don’t have anything to be bummed out about,” he said. “Last night was the first time I can say that my performance on television was better than any of the rehearsals leading up to it.”

Lacey Schwimmer Speaks on Steve-O, Dancing with the Stars

We don't envy Lacey Schwimmer.

The Dancing with the Stars professional is teamed with former Jackass creator Steve-O on season eight of the ABC reality competition.

She recently spoke to People Magazine about this unusual, often-bare chested partner.

His is Steve-O?
Steve-O is a workhorse. He is here everyday, five hours. He says, “Is five hours enough, Lacey? Do you think I need more than that?” So he’s just such a hard worker and we’re in very intense rehearsals everyday.

What do you think are your chances?

I think he’s this little dark horse of the competition. People don’t really know what to expect from him … I keep getting these messages on Myspace or on Facebook and they’re like, ‘Oh, man, you and Steve-O. I’m so sorry.’ I look at them and think they have no idea about this guy.

Steve-O Might Go Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars opened its ballroom to a former Playboy model and sex tape star this past season (Brooke Burke and Kim Kardashian, respectively).

So what's stopping the show from inviting a Jackass on board next year?

According to celebrity gossip site TMZ the competition has a verbal agreement in place with Steve-O to appear on the show next season.

A rep for Dancing with the Stars could not be reached for comment about whether or not a man famous for injuring himself multiple times on television will be a contestant.
