Last night on The Hills, Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad continued to fight over LC's alleged, and falsely rumored hookup with Justin-Bobby.

In Speidiland, Spencer and Stephanie Pratt spar over her alleged indifference to their Nana. Spencer tries to make as many passive-aggressive comments and kiss as much butt as humanly possible in a 20-minute period. It's impressive.

It appears as if Spencer Pratt is in rare form on The Hills tonight.

Upon learning that Holly Montag - having been exiled from Speidi's pad - moved in with Lauren Conrad, Spencer derides her to Heidi, insinuating that their "stalker" mom orchestrated the whole thing and that Lauren deserves to be stuck with the world's biggest mooch ... who's even worse than Stephanie.

As this episode of The Hills gets underway, Lauren Conrad packs for a trip to Italy. Right after, Stephanie Pratt tells Audrina Patridge how Doug Reinhardt - yes, Lauren's Doug - asked her out. LC is not gonna like this.

At the club, Audrina and Lo are hanging out and the great Spencer and Heidi arrive! Heidi says hi. Lo, however, looks like she wants to kill herself.

Heidi cannot believe about Doug Reinhardt and Stephanie Pratt either, then invites Audrina and Lo to a Bolthouse X-Games Party the next night.

Even Spencer is telling Stephanie that the date is a bad idea, but she's not getting the message. She goes through with the date with Doug.

LC and She-Pratt's friendship will be put to the test by this.

Stephanie asks Doug about Brody Jenner, his buddy, and tells him how she did not tell Lauren Conrad about the date. Then the unexpected happens.

No, Doug doesn't say something intelligent. Brody's mom arrives and says hi to both of them. One could say it was an awkward run-in.

Lauren Conrad finally gets home and hears the details on Stephanie and Doug from Audrina and Lo. The reaction was predictably bad.

That night, Brody makes it even worse when he tells her how his mom caught them and Doug had lied about where he was going.

On the second episode of The Hills' fourth season, Stephanie Pratt invites new BFF Lauren Conrad to her birthday party.

That sounds nice and innocent enough. Lauren immediately decides to invite Doug Reinhardt, who she’s started to date.

But drama follows peeps named Pratt. Spencer and Heidi decide to roll, too, so you know serious sh!t is about to go down.

Looks like Lauren Conrad has more BFF drama in the upcoming fourth season of The Hills, which premieres August 18 on MTV.

Friend-turned-rival of the season: Stephanie Pratt.

The reason? Steph moves in on LC's new boy Doug Reinhardt.

Meanwhile, Lo Bosworth and Audrina Patridge try to sort out their own tensions, Whitney Port has a new man in her life, and Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt fight with their siblings - and each other.

Apparently there's some tension on The Hills with Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad no longer on speaking terms!

Audrina reportedly hasn't even been staying in Lauren Conrad's guest house recently. LC has taken up with Stephanie Pratt instead.

"She hasn't officially moved out yet, but she stays with different people. It's grown so bad between them she doesn't want to be there," an insider told Page Six. "If your star starts to burn brighter than Lauren's, there's going to be trouble."

Because we know you love them. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were spotted at Mr. Chow, where they received a nice meal and lots of camera time.

Meanwhile, Lauren Conrad was spotted with new BFF Stephanie Pratt - who is now dating Brett Novek - chatting in Los Angeles on Wednesday...

In case you're wondering why the hunk didn't win, here's a hint: the clueless dude is dating Stephanie Pratt of MTV's The Hills.

"He's really sweet and cute," Stephanie told In Touch about Novek, who was spotted whispering in her ear and making her laugh at the Target Converse One Star party in L.A. on June 1.

We wonder if Spencer Pratt approves. We also wonder if Spencer Pratt has ever given a thought to anyone except for himself.

After the drama on last week's episode of The Hills, Heidi Montag is determined to have a proper girls' night out - not even the revelation that Lauren Conrad could show up at the same club can deter Heidi's quest this time around.

"Maybe this will be the first time it's okay," Heidi muses. "I feel like she always had a problem with me because of Spencer and now that I'm not really with him...."
