Bret Michaels is ready for Rock of Love 2.

At least more than he was for the original reality series, which the musician admits came at a bad time: he wasn't prepared for a relationship during the show, making it a good thing Jes Rickleff dumped him, as guess.

"I had just come out of a long relationship with two kids," Michaels said. "I was more ready for 'Rock of Like' or 'Rock of Dating.' Jes and me had a real dose of reality when the show ended. There were five months in between and we talked on the phone a few times. I invited her to my shows in Chicago and St. Louis, but she didn't come.

The reality of reality dating is kind of strange."

While the actions of Lacey Conner on Rock of Love made her one of the show's villains, fellow finalist Brandi C. is defending the aspiring musician, saying she hopes the public will have the opportunity to see Lacey's better side.

"She's actually one of my favorite people," Brandi C. wrote on her MySpace blog. "I really hope that people get a chance to see how sweet she really is when she's not on a competition reality TV dating show."

Wow. We didn't expect to read that sentiment. Brandi also said she continues to see Lacey, along with Rock of Love runner-up Heather Chadwell and Kristia.

On the show, Brandi C. and Kristia became known as the Barbie Twins. During the reunion special, the two revealed that they enjoyed each other's company so much that they decided to become housemates in real life.

"We are [kind of] boring at times, watching TV and whatnot but other times are just insane by accident," Brandi C. said. "We usually do our makeup in the same bathroom [because] we share a lot of stuff. We accidentally dress the same all the time, and she does my hair extensions… So it's good, we are a good match. Also, we're compatible astrologically, she's an Aries, and I'm a Sagittarius."

Thank goodness for that. The friendship would be doomed otherwise.

Jes Rickleff has entered the second phase of reality TV stardom: random appearances.

For example, the Rock of Love star was recently spotted in New Jersey on October 19, making an appearance at Club Abyss is Sayreville. A local news outlet said the pink-haired wonder would be hosting the Ladies Night Dance Party, which followed the club's "male revue."

Rickleff then joined rival Heather in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday at the Pangaea Lounge at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Fortunately, Jes is also appearing in the name of a good cause this upcoming weekend. On Sunday, October 28, she'll fly home to the Illinois area in order to be featured as a guest at a fundraiser that will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

The event will take place at a local salon called Neo Bella, and it's reported that "all net proceeds will benefit the foundation, along with 10 percent of any retail products sold also going to the charity."

While Jes Rickleff is receiving most of the headlines from Rock of Love, Lacey Conner is looking to change that.

She says there are countless fans "begging" to hear more from her and her band, Nocturne. The vocalists states she's receiving numerous requests to make the song"Shallow" available on her MySpace page.

Consider it done, fans! Lacey has posted the song on her personal page, while also making it available on Nocturne's MySpace Music page. You can also now purchase it on CD, as well.

Overall, while many other Rock of Love girls didn't seem to care for Conner's music, a fan base has grown. For example, the following review was posted on Lacey's website:

"Lacey Conner's live performance is a theatrical tempest of feminine seduction. She combines erotic choreography with entrancing vocals. The atmosphere Conner creates is lush, sensual and unforgettable."

Nocturne had appeared to be on hiatus for a while, but the exposure from the reality TV series means the group is "slowly creeping back out into the world, and we have two big shows coming up in Hollywood, California," says the lead singer.

One is a Halloween show at the Key Club; the other is in November at the Whisky a Go Go. For now, the band is booked only in the Sunshine State.

"Sorry," says Lacey, "no tours are scheduled, or being planned, at this time. So you're all just gonna have to come out to sunny California!"

Rodeo was sent home mid-way through the Rock of Love season when her son got sick - but she says she was shocked when the winner, Jes Rickleff, told Bret Michaels he'd made the wrong choice.

"But I could understand how Jes felt," she said.

And now that Bret and his stringy blonde extensions have been spurned by his Rickleff, Rodeo believes she may have another shot at him.

"Tons of the other girls were saying, 'now you'll have second chance. I'm going to see where it goes. I'm not going to chase after anybody," Rodeo said to TMZ.com.

As for redheaded Rock of Love villain Lacey, Rodeo added "

"When people take medication with liquor, that's dangerous."

In a shocking development, Bret Michaels is no longer with the woman he chose on the show, Jes Rickleff. It's amazing, we know.

But while Jes may be out of the news, runner-up, Heather, may be getting her own Rock of Live spin-off.

"I'm moving to LA as soon as my house [in Las Vegas] sells," Heather told the New York Post last Thursday, adding the new four-bedroom house will also serve as a home to Brandi C. and Kristia.

She also randomly said that she loves Chris Crocker, a Britney Spears fan and blogger made famous by his tearful video plea on YouTube - and he'll be joining the three of them in the house.

"He's funny and hilarious," she said of Crocker. "He's very flamboyant and he's controversial which is awesome... I think a reality show with the four of us in L.A. would be a great idea."

Now that she no longer works as a stripper, Heather is hoping to launch her career in the entertainment industry. She spoke of a possible Rock of Love show for herself, similar to that of I Love New York.

"They're flying me out [this] week to talk about a few things," she said.

We've all seen what sort of career paths former Flavor of Love Girls go down. Take Larissa Aurora or Jennifer Toof, for example.
