Denise Richards to Get Her Own Reality TV Show

7102.gif Because Ryan Seacrest is not involved in enough projects at the moment...

The American Idol host has revealed that he's in talks with Denise Richards to film a reality TV show about her life. For reasons unknown, Seacrest claims Richards "an interesting personality." Charlie Sheen might classify it as something else.

As for whether Denise's children with Sheen would participate - a possibility the actor has tried to have legally blocked -  Seacrest was unclear.

"We've been in talks about doing a series with her. I don't know if the kids would necessarily be involved. It would be about her, if we do this, and her life. And what she wants to do with it, with her career," Seacrest said.

Ryan is also the producer behind Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the hit reality show that features Kim Kardashian and her family. We can only hope Richards' show is as fascinating as this one.

Who is The World's Strongest Celebrity?

moves_strongest.jpg Michael Davies is ready to pump celebrities up.

The producer of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire producer is teaming with IMG to mount The World's Strongest Celebrity, a celeb-centric spinoff of the long-running The World's Strongest Man competition.

The reality series would feature well-known folks squaring off against each other in a series of physical challenges designed to test their strength. The civilian edition began more than 30 years ago on CBS and is now seen on ESPN2.

"If the strongmen are pulling airplanes, then the celebs might be pulling cars," said one person familiar with the pitch for Strongest Celebrity.

It's likely the format of the show would match that of Dancing With the Stars, with celebrities training with pros and facing weekly elimination.

Nashville Star: Coming to NBC!

2007logo2.jpg Nashville Star will be back on the air in 2008. But it won't be on the USA Network.

Instead, the country-music competition will be broadcat on NBC. The show will join a second season of American Gladiators in what NBC is calling its "All-American Summer" lineup, leading up to its coverage of the Olympics in August.

"We are thrilled to feature the powerhouse Gladiators this summer, and it's a real coup to bring Nashville Star to NBC," says Craig Plestis, head of alternative programming at NBC.

The singing competition has aired for five seasons on USA, helping launch the careers of Miranda Lambert, Buddy Jewell and last season's winner, Angela Hacker, who beat out her brother Zac to win the crown. Approximately three million people watched last season's finale, a record for the show.

Reality TV News: Emmanuel Lewis, Legally Blonde Shows in the Works

A California based production company is shopping the show to a number of networks. Rumors has it that VH1 might snatch it up. We'll keep you posted.

Meanwhile, a new MTV reality show may cast Legally Blonde's next leading lady.

A casting representative from that network has confirmed that it will hold auditions January 21 in Orlando for an upcoming reality show that will search for an actress to play Elle Woods in the Broadway production of Legally Blonde.

The open casting call in Orlando, which is open to non-union talent, is seeking actresses 18 and over with strong acting, vocal and dancing skills to compete for the lead in the Broadway musical. The notice states that filming will take place over four weeks in March.
