Keeping Up with the Kardashians: Second Season Premiere Date Announced

E! has set a date for the return of the reality series that follows the everyday lives of the useless Kardashian family.

The second season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will premiere on Sunday, March 9 at 10 p.m.

In a sad commentary on America, Keeping Up with the Kardashians regularly won its time slot among women 18-34 during its pilot season, which gave the network enough reason to renew the reality series for yet another run.

Keeping Up with Kim Kardashian

Fans can look forward to eight new episodes, kicking off with its premiere installment called "Kim Becomes a Diva." Are they claiming Kim Kardashian was not already a diva?!?

"The buzz surrounding the series is huge, and viewers have clearly fallen for the Kardashians," said Lisa Berger, E!'s executive vice president of programming and development.

Reality TV Recaps: Big Brother, The Biggest Loser

A pair of classic reality shows entertained viewers last night. And we're not even talking about American Idol at the moment! Let's check out recaps of Big Brother and The Biggest Loser...

Big Brother 9: It's another night in the Big Brother 9 house and the house is full of people in various states of unhappiness and discontent. Most prominently, Parker was extremely upset with Jen's antics so he decided to list out the "three steps of destruction by Jen." -- TV Squad

The Biggest Loser: On last night's episode of The Biggest Loser, Alison Sweeney shocked the contestants when she sent them home for a week. It sounds like a good deal except that back home, their friends and family aren't on a diet. -- Buddy TV

Denise Richards to Exploit Dead Mother, Kids in Reality Show

Denise Richards NakedFor those - such as the Reality TV Scoop staff - that have been appalled at how readily Denise Richards will be exploiting her children in the series set to debut this summer, don't worry. It gets even worse.

Based on an interview the former wife of Charlie Sheen gave Access Hollywood recently, this attention-starved actress will also be milking the death of her mother for publicity. Denise's mom passed away from cancer two months before filming began.

But delay the series? Never! Ratings are at stake. Why not milk the story for sympathy instead?

"Nothing can prepare you for death. It's the worst thing I ever had to go through," Richards said. "I thought my divorce was hard. This is just 100 times harder."

Of course, Richards says her on-air struggle is purely altruistic. She wants to help others.

"If I can help anyone that has lost someone, especially through cancer, I would like to do that," Denise lied said. "She will definitely be talked about and how we are dealing with it."

Shockingly, the pathetic actress added, her young kids were excited to be on a television show. Forget the fact that it's the responsibility of a mother to shield them from the public eye and not give in to every child-like desire. Heck, her kids would probably be psyched to eat ice cream for every meal of every day, too.

"I asked them if they wanted to be on TV and Sam said, ‘Yes!" Denise laughed. "My girls have been around it so much. They love the makeup. They love the hair. They love all of that. I understand why people are judgmental right away saying, ‘How could she have her kids on the show?' But as long as they're protected, I feel that they'll be OK."

Reality TV Recaps: Rock of Love, Big Brother 9

The two main reality shows that aired last night were based around sex: which skanky single would have it with Bret Michaels on Rock of Love; and which teammates would hook up on Big Brother. Let's find out!

Rock of Love: The "divine nine" wake up and Big John hands them their next clue: it's time for the second annual Bret Michaels Mud Bowl! Catherine the cougar is excited, because she's a dirty Montana girl. Daisy is terrified of getting hurt, probably because she's really tiny. -- Buddy TV

Big Brother: Allison threw out an ultimatum very early in the episode where she basically told Jen that she'd tell the house about her secret if Jen was disrespectful to her at any point in the game. Is it us, or does Allison seem way too defensive about the Jen and Ryan relationship? -- TV Squad

Reality TV Recaps: Project Runway, Big Brother

A pair of the longest-running, most popular reality shows graced television screens last night. So, what happened on Project Runway and Big Brother? Let's find out!

Project Runway: The opening scene saw Sweet P not believing she had not been "auwted" by Heidi but was relieved to be staying for another challenge. Chris and Rami were both fairly calm as to the final challenge to determine which designer would do a runway show and Christian was relatively quiet, for once. -- Reality TV Magazine

Big Brother: Following the Power Couple competition, Parker compares himself and Jen to Brad and Angelina. What else do you expect from a paparazzo? Jen is glad to win, because this means Ryan is also safe, as is their secret. -- Reality News Online

Reality TV Recaps: Big Brother 9, The Biggest Loser

We got to know the new house guests on Big Brother 9's season premiere last night, while the folks on The Biggest Loser continued their weight-dropping ways.

Here are a pair of recaps:

Big Brother: Big Brother 9 is being subtitled "Til Death Do You Part." This is because the house guests are playing in teams this year. With interviews and personality tests, CBS has paired each contestant with their perfect love match. -- Buddy TV

The Biggest Loser: Everyone on Team Black was appalled that Jackie got ejected last week - Mark and Jay went back on their word! The fiends! Yes, they should have just been up-front about what they were planning. But the amount of self-righteous anger oozing off Team Black was over the top. -- Zap2It

Denise Richards Reality Show Receives Green Light

denise-blog.jpg Seriously, folks, who on earth cares about what Denise Richards does on a daily basis?

At least Kim Kardashian has no discernible skills other than the possession of large breasts, so why not put her on reality TV? But Richards has been in a handful of movies. She could continue to make a decent career out of that.

Instead, the actress and single mom is set to star an untitled E! series which will follow her around as she "navigates Hollywood, romance and motherhood."

The show, which is being produced by Ryan Seacrest's company, will debut in the summer and make us incredibly nauseous every time it's mentioned.

"The show will give viewers an inside look at what it's like for Denise to go through these ups and downs while always in the public eye," said Lisa Berger, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Series Development for E!, in a statement. "At the core of this series is a resilient single mom who is trying to get her life back on track."

No it's not! It's just an incredibly rich actress desperate for attention!!!

Please, people, do not give it to her.

Reality TV Recaps: The Biggest Loser, Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency

While The Biggest Loser may have aired last night, that title was far more appropriate for the star of the second reality TV show recapped below. In other words: we have Janice Dickinson!

Nevertheless, here's what transpired on The Biggest Loser and the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency...

The Biggest Loser: A somber Black Team greets us this week, reflecting on their devastating loss at last week's weigh-in... The teams gather in the gym and are greeted by Alison Sweeney (of Days of Our Lives) and a row of mysterious-looking booths... -- Reality TV Magazine
