Coming Soon: A Kirstie Alley Reality Show

She got really fat, lost some weight and then put some back on again.

For those reasons alone, Kirstie Alley will star in a new reality show on A&E. The series will chronicle the actress' continual weight struggle, while also focusing on how she raises two teenagers alone.

With 10 episodes confirmed, the untitled reality show will air in 2010, Variety reports.

Kirstie Alley

"Kirstie is exactly the kind of star A&E is drawn to," said an A&E executive. "Her personal life has been playing out in the media for years, but this will be the first time she'll be opening up her home to reveal her real life for the cameras."

Alley is a former Jenny Craig spokesperson.

According to the Variety article, she'll be "producing a feature film, patenting multiple inventions, working hard to raise two normal Hollywood teenagers, taking care of eight ringtail lemurs and, on top of everything, looking for love" on the series.

Sounds enthralling to us!

Coming Soon: A Michael Vick Reality Show?!?

Thus far, during his return to the NFL for the Eagles, Michael Vick has said all the right things.

In an instant, though, that all may have changed.

BET has ordered a reality show for the embattled quarterback. It will be titled The Michael Vick Project.

The show will reportedly revolve around his Vick's football comeback, while also being used as a means to repair his tarnished public image as the result of his arrest for dog fighting in 2007.

Vick

"I just want people to really get to know me as an individual," Vick said about the series. "What I want to do is change the perception of me. I am a human being. I've made some mistakes in the past, and I wish it had never happened. But it's not about how you fall, but about how you pick yourself up."

PETA spokesman Dan Shannon isn't a fan of this idea:

"People who abuse animals don't deserve to be rewarded. They shouldn't be given multimillion-dollar contract... or given the privilege of being a role model."

We disagree entirely on the latter point: why shouldn't Vick now serve as a role model to anyone that is contemplating animal abuse? That said, stay away from the reality TV cameras, Mike.

Give Tony Dungy a call. He'll set you straight.

Coming to Reality TV: Holly Madison, Tinsley Mortimer

Try to contain your excitement over this news: reality TV is about to welcome back one talentless star; and introduce another to the masses.

First, Holly Madison is returning to the only industry she can succeed in. The former Girl Next Door will begin filming Planet Holly in Las Vegas on October 12.

“There will be elements of The Girls Next Door in my show because there is such a fan following for it. It’s all good-natured and not mean like other reality shows. I’m really excited about the new series because I am also getting a legitimate co-producer credit for all the work I do behind the camera. It’s not a vanity credit. I’m super excited to learn from the best and take on new responsibilities.”

We're equally excited to watch Holly's life on screen... NOT!

Deep Throating

Meanwhile, Tinsley Mortimer is apparently famous. The CW will follow around this Manhattan socialite for at least eight half-hour episodes this fall.

Described in newspapers as "New York's pre-eminent young socialite," Mortimer is actually in her 30s. She appeared on the season two premiere of Gossip Girl as a guest judge on Bravo's Fashion Show this summer.

We hate her already.

Jon Gosselin: Rumored for The Divorced Dads Club

Because the world can never have enough of a father of eight that sleeps with anyone with a pulse...

The rumors of a new Jon Gosselin-based reality show are growing stronger, as the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star clearly needs to remain in the spotlight at all times.

Speaking to Radar Online, Jon's new BFF, Michael Lohan said The Divorced Dads Club is now in development.

“We’re just waiting now to find out if it can all work out,” Lohan said. “If TLC picks up the show, there’s no problem with Jon’s contract, so we’ll see.”

Michael and Jon

As you might expect, Lohan, would also be featured on The Divorced Dads Club, a proposed series that is perfectly summed up in its title. Who else would star?

“I know they’re reaching out to Dennis Rodman. I know Jose Canseco has already said yes, he wants to be part of the show that bad. There are even some divorced celebrities who are not dads who want to do the show," Lindsay's father said.

Coming to BET: Tiny and Toya

What have Tameka “Tiny” Cottle Antonia “Toya” Carter done to deserve their own reality show?

They've taken part in a relatively obscure hip hop ground named Xscape and given birth to two babies sired by rapper T.I. (Cottle); and gotten divorced from Lil’ Wayne (Carter).

According to BET, Tiny and Toya will be based in Atlanta. It will follow the lives of these BFFs, as they strive “to find inner-strength, peace and purpose."

Cottle

Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, seen here being licked by T.I., is coming to reality TV.

Aubrey O'Day Reality Show: On the Way!

Men and women won't be competing for a Shot at Love with Aubrey O'Day. But the singer will, indeed, star in her own MTV reality show.

Why did turn down the chance to flaunt her supposedly bisexual nature in front of the camera?

"I didn't feel it was the right fit for me, 'cause I'm an artist first. Although I have fun at events and stuff, it's not really at all who I am as an artist," O'Day told MTV.

O

Okay. So, what will O'Day's series be about?

"It's a docu-soap about me taking the stage again and of my own life... The show is going to be amazing. I'm going to be singing, dancing and acting."

And nudity. We have no doubt, lots and lots of nudity.

Coming Soon: A Shot at Aubrey O'Day?

From Tila Tequila to The Ikki Twins to... Aubrey O'Day?

According to celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton, the former Danity Kane singer is likely to serve as the latest bisexual bachelorette to headline MTV's reality show dating competition, A Shot At Love.

Aubrey O

"She's in final negotiations," an insider said. "Aubrey will be singing the theme song and hopes this opportunity will help her launch a solo recording career."

It will help her launch something, alright! Like weekly trips to the gynecologist.

O'Day, who has posed naked in Playboy, decided to become a quasi lesbian in the summer of 2008. Her career needed a boost.

DJ AM Reality Show on the Way

From near-death to reality show fame.

DJ AM, who was involved in a scary place crash in September, will star in his own intervention-style series on MTV.

Tentatively titled "Gone Too Far," the show will reportedly feature the famous DJ and focus on his battles with drug addiction. Look for it to chronicle various interventions for individuals whose lives have spiraled out of control.

DJ AM will be present throughout the intervention process. Hey, he's just as qualified as Dr. Drew!

Fantasia Barrino Reality Show: Coming Soon!

Fantasia Barrino, a former American Idol finalist that has suffered from recent financial problems, will star in an upcoming reality show on VH1.

It will likely debut in early 2010.

"Fantasia has one of the most fascinating stories in show business, from her tough upbringing to her meteoric rise on the national scene thanks to American Idol,'" Jeff Olde, executive VP of original programming at VH1, told The Hollywood Reporter.

"Her challenges from fame and her unwillingness to fail have combined to create a larger-than-life talent who appeals to music lovers around the world. So many people wanted to work with her on this, but Fantasia is now part of the VH1 family, and we're so happy to have her."

Rod Blagojevich Lands Reality Show Gig

On the same day that Nadya Suleman landed her own TV show, an even more disturbing piece of television news has come to our attention:

The disgraced former governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich - who pleaded not guilty to federal racketeering and fraud charges this week - has signed a deal to star in NBC's summer reality series, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.

Rod Blagojevich

Blagojevich's participation requires court approval because the show will be shot in Costa Rica and he's not allowed to leave the United States, due to his unrepentant lying and cheating.

If he takes part, Blagojevich would be one of 10 celebrities competing in a series of jungle challenges to raise money for charity. The series will premiere June 1.
