New York Goes to Hollywood, Actually Lands Role

There were tears, a possible farewell and a stunning, successful audition for Tiffany Pollard on the season finale of New York Goes to Hollywood last night.

After VH1 arranged for Pollard to land a role in a movie, Tiffany made it sound as though she was being forced to give up on reality television forever in order to pursue her acting career. Then, of course, she said this:

Who in the hell am I kidding? If this thing doesn’t work out, I’ll be back for I Love New York Season 3 through 13. And if it does work out, I’ll be back for New York Goes to Hollywood, Part 2. I am not turning down a paycheck!

That's our girl.

Chin Up, Tiffany!

Why is Tiffany Pollard crying? Perhaps our New York Goes to Hollywood episode guide will reveal the answer!

Previews for next week showed Pollard in negotiations for I Love New York 3. We can only pray they went well.

Below, we've posted an extended behind-the-scenes look at New York's preparation for this monumental event. She's in the green room with Lizza and, at least for these few seconds, Pollard appears to be a big fan of her assistant. That could change at any moment, however.

New York Goes to Hollywood, Tailor Made Pretends to Surprise Her

New York Goes to Hollywood must be the most scripted reality show on television.

No offense, The Hills.

This week, Tiffany Pollard pretends to have drama with Tailor Made, goes on a date with another man and - shocker! - is on the way home with that man, unknowing that Tailor has dropped in to her house to surprise her.

All Made Up

New York Goes to Hollywood: Welcome, Sister Patterson!

On the next episode of New York Goes to Hollywood, a certain insane mother stops by.

New York Goes to Hollywood, Acts Japanese

It's a long road to being taken seriously as an actress. Do you think Meryl Streep woke up one day and was handed an Academy Award?

For Tiffany Pollard, an important stop along that road, on the third episode of New York Goes to Hollywood, was to film a commercial for a Japanese energy drink. It didn't pay, and it may never air, but it's experience nonetheless.

Going Zen

Don't worry, Tiffany didn't remain zen-like all episode. Or for more than four seconds. There were the typical New York fireworks last night.

Read through our episode guide now to learn all about them!

New York Defeats Diddy

Diddy may have conquered the hip hop world.

But Tiffany Pollard taught the music mogul a few things this week about reality TV success.

According to the Nielsen ratings, I Want To Work For Diddy averaged just 1.4 million viewers for its premiere this week. That wasn't enough to overcome the power of Pollard, as New York Goes To Hollywood was watched by 1.7 million viewers on VH1.

New York, Diddy

Hey, Diddy: Don't mess with reality television queen, Tiffany Pollard.
