Julianne Hough may be packing her Dancing with the Stars bags, but she's giving her season seven partner a shout out as she does.

"I could not be more proud of him," the gorgeous professional told Us Weekly. "He's been the most different partner I've had on any of my seasons, and I'm so proud of him. He's a winner to me, for sure!"

Cody Linley is keeping his held high, as well.

"I never expected to do this well," the actor said. "I'm proud of myself because I made my family proud. I represented myself well, and I felt like I shined."

A week after surgery to remove her appendix, Julianne Hough is recovering well.

“She was in a lot of pain for a couple of days afterwards," brother Derek Hough said to OK! following last night's performance. "But she’s a fighter; she’ll get through."

Despite Julianne's belief that she'd return to the show after just a couple of weeks, Derek is more cautious:

"I don’t think she’ll be back to dance next week. I’m going to make her stay in bed!”

According to TMZ, Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough will soon announced that the ailment that landed her to the emergency room last week was more than a stomach ache, as was initially thought - but an ovarian cyst.

The dance champion will undergo surgery to remove the cyst and will have her appendix removed while under the knife (for reasons unrelated to the cyst).

No word on when the surgery will take place or if Julianne Hough will return to Dancing with the Stars, where she and Cody Linley are among the favorites.

Following a trip to the hospital last night, Julianne Hough is assuring her fans: I'm okay!

The beauty was taken in for tests approximately 40 minutes after the Dancing with the Stars results show wrapped. In a new blog entry, she writes:

“I didn’t feel well the whole day. But I’m a trooper. I didn’t tell anyone. I didn’t want to be dramatic about things.

I don’t know if anyone could see my face during the show, but I was trying so hard to put a smile on. I was in so much pain. Afterward, I went backstage and curled up in a ball. That’s when everyone said I needed to go to the hospital.”

As for the results of her stay, Hough said the diagnosis was far from serious.

“With stomach problems, you never know what’s going on,” she writes. “It could’ve been appendicitis. It turned out just to be a bad stomach. As my mom said, ‘better safe than sorry.’

Toni Braxton and Alec Mazo were sent home on Dancing with the Stars last night.

"My goal was reached," said Braxton, who has coronary microvascular angina, after she was eliminated. "I wanted to do better. I wanted to breathe better. And I was definitely breathing better. I've come a long way from Week One to Week Now."

The bigger news of the evening, however, was that Julianne Hough was hospitalized.

According to her rep, the two-time champion "was experiencing slight stomach pains all day that increased and the doctors thought it was best to have them checked out."

Before being sent to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for an evaluation, Hough showed no signs of an illness. She even re-enacted her Jitterbug (above) from the night before with partner Cody Linley.

Julianne Hough is as honest as she is gorgeous.

In response to Kim Kardashian being voted off Dancing with the Stars this week, Hough said:

"Kim was one of the weaker ones. I hate saying that, but it's true.... [she's] a real sweetheart. Everyone has their perceptions of people before they meet them, and I can tell you she’s such a good person. Obviously, though, people have to be voted off to keep the show going. That’s the name of the game."

Lance Bass said: "I am very sad to see her leave. We are friends outside the show, so I will get to see her anytime I want."

Brooke Burke said: "I would have liked to see her bust out and see more of her dancing. She didn't get the opportunity to do that."

As the youngest celebrity to ever appear on Dancing with the Stars, Cody Linley is already experiencing pressure.

But combine that with a beautiful partner who holds two Dancing with the Stars trophies and the actor's knees must be perpatually knocking.

“A lot of people are saying, ‘You’ve got the best partner so you better step up your game!’” Linley told People Magazine, adding that physical woes were adding to his current problems.

"The first couple of weeks I got really sore…in parts of my body that I never knew had muscles!” he said. “Like the inside of my legs? I never expected that to hurt.”

Cody and Julianne have been sizing up the competition, and Hough predicts her brother Derek Hough, and his partner rooke Burke will be a factor. Why? Because Burke's “legs and arms are hyper-extended, which is what you want in dancing.”

However, Linley thinks the show’s oldest competitor, Cloris Leachman, will be a formidable opponent.

“She’s super feisty,” Linley said about the 82-year-old actress. “She was already trash talking and everything! She was like, ‘You think you can take me? So you’re the youngest and I’m the oldest. Well, I’m going to show you up so get ready, buddy.’”

Cody Linley and Julianne Hough make for one young, attractive pairing on season seven of Dancing with the Stars.

No matter how well they perform, these two are likely to remain on the show due to their appeal to both men and alike.

Julianne Hough's foray into the world of country music has already paid dividends with a number-one ranked album. Her self-titled CD, Julianne Hough, hit the top of the charts in May.

Now, the new career for the Dancing with the Stars professional - don't worry, she'll return to the series this fall - is paying off in personal ways, as well:

Hough is dating fellow country crooner Chuck Wicks.

"It's very difficult to date – I just got kind of lucky!" Hough said to People Magazine about Wicks, who she got to know when the two joined Brad Paisley on tour this summer.  "He's just a great guy! He's awesome and really, really talented."

Chuck Wicks better treat Julianne Hough well. We've got our eyes on him! (And on her, of course. Yowza!)
