Try to contain your excitement over this news: reality TV is about to welcome back one talentless star; and introduce another to the masses.

First, Holly Madison is returning to the only industry she can succeed in. The former Girl Next Door will begin filming Planet Holly in Las Vegas on October 12.

“There will be elements of The Girls Next Door in my show because there is such a fan following for it. It’s all good-natured and not mean like other reality shows. I’m really excited about the new series because I am also getting a legitimate co-producer credit for all the work I do behind the camera. It’s not a vanity credit. I’m super excited to learn from the best and take on new responsibilities.”

Meanwhile, Tinsley Mortimer is apparently famous. The CW will follow around this Manhattan socialite for at least eight half-hour episodes this fall.

Described in newspapers as "New York's pre-eminent young socialite," Mortimer is actually in her 30s. She appeared on the season two premiere of Gossip Girl as a guest judge on Bravo's Fashion Show this summer.

We hate her already.

Bridget Marquardt has gone from the Playboy Mansion to the Travel Channel, hosting Bridget's Sexiest Beaches.

Kendra Wilkinson has left Hugh Hefner behind in favor of Hank Baskett, as this couple's life will be chronicled on Kendra.

Not wanting to feel left out, Holly Madison has joined her fellow Girls Next Door in planning another reality show.

“I have a couple projects I am working on out here in Vegas. I’m working on a reality show and a live show,” Madison said in an interview over the weekend, remaining silent on the details of her new program.

We can only hope and pray it's VH1's next reality dating competition, Holly of Love!

Dancing With the Stars bid farewell to a pair of contestants last night - and neither was a major surprise.

Holly Madison, who was a late replacement for Jewel and suffered through a couple injuries of her own, was eliminated along with partner Dmitry Chaplin.

"It was a lot physically harder than I thought it was going to be, but it was so much fun and I'm so glad l got a chance to do it," Madison said. " And I still love the costumes - that's still my favorite part."

In even less of a shocker, Steve Woziak - following weeks where he scored 10 and 12 points, respectively - was also sent packing.

"This is a great show, a great process, a great system," said the Mac founder, who said performing on it made him feel "like the luckiest person in the world."

Season eight of Dancing with the Stars premieres on Monday.

But will Jewel be a part of it?

The singer has been diagnosed with tendinitis in her knee, though she blogged this week: "Don't count me out, as I am in this for the long run."

If Jewel can't make it, Us Weekly reports that a replacement has been found: Holly Madison!

We might have to wait until Monday to find out just who is paired with newcomer Dmitry Chaplin, but if Madison joins the show, she'd be following in the naked footsteps of other Dancing with the Stars celebs that have posed for Playboy.

They include: Kim Kardashian, Lisa Rinna, Brooke Burke, Denise Richards and Belinda Carlisle. That's a lot!

On one hand, Hugh Hefner is rumored to have a new girlfriend, Dasha Astafieva.

One another hand, celebrity gossip tabloid OK! reports that Bridget Marquart is hyping a "huge wedding" for the next - and likely final - season of The Girls Next Door.

The groom, we can only presume, would be Hugh Hefner himself; while the only plausible bride would be top girlfriend Holly Madison.

Bridget was recently overheard dishing about the future of the show, as she hinted that she and Kendra Wilkinson will be moving out of the Playboy Mansion once season five wraps.

"She said they will be moving on since Holly is Hef's main girlfriend," a source told OK!

Holly Madison has made no secret of the fact that she wants to marry Hugh Hefner.

The Playboy founder appears hesitant, however, and the following picture of Madison makes us wonder why (until we realized that Hefner can sleep with Holly, and any number of other large-breasted blondes, any time he wants)...

The Girls Next Door? More like The Catfight at the Mansion, according to various reports.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ is stating that there's major tension between Hugh Hefner girlfriend at the moment, so much so that Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson cannot even be in the same room together for more than five minutes at a time.

We know Holly Madison has huge boobs. Does she have an ego to match?

As Bridget Marquardt tries to keep the peace between her two often-naked friends, sources say Holly's ambition is spilling over to the magazine, as well. Reportedly, she wants to have editorial control over various spreads, something that's not going over well with employees.

Show producers claim they're "not aware" of any rift between the ladies, but we'll be glad to keep our eye on the situation as it develops. Especially if it means attending any parties at the Playboy Mansion.

Now, Holly Madison has talked to TV Guide about the upcoming few episodes...

TVGuide.com: I understand there's a big "Alaskan adventure" airing on The Girls Next Door this Sunday.
Holly: Yes, and I'm really excited about it because it airs on my birthday and I get to take Bridget and Kendra back to my hometown in Alaska, which is really, really rural and out in the middle of nowhere. It's definitely a change of pace for them.

TVGuide.com: What else is among your favorite moments of the coming season?
Holly: There's an episode that focuses on my work at Playboy Studio West, which follows four different girls from four different parts of the country [trying] out to be Playmates. I think that shows the real me more than any other episode. It shows me at work and it gets behind the sort of girls who come out here.

TVGuide.com: In Season 1, you said one big objective was to clear up misconceptions about life at the mansion. Do you see signs that you've accomplished that?
Holly: Absolutely. Our show has a really big female following, and we get a lot of feedback from them. They look up to us because we're in a position where we can pretty much pursue anything we want to do, and they love to see empowered women follow their dreams.

TVGuide.com: What might be in your future once Girls Next Door runs its course?
Holly: Well, we're each hoping to develop a spin-off. I'd love to do a spin-off about my work at the Playboy Studio and the girls that come through there. And some day I'd love to be a mom and have it all!

Hugh Hefner and his Girls Next Door are had a fun time in Monte Carlo over the weekend.

But it was almost a dangerous time.

The blondes told Access Hollywood that they weren't aware that they were breaking the law when they were apprehended by police for trespassing on palace grounds last week.

"We went exploring, you know, and we saw McDonalds and, like, everything just led to another," said Kendra Wilkinson. "And we followed the yellow brick road, and we wound up at the palace. And then all of a sudden..."

"We were in trouble," said Bridget Marquardt, finishing Kendra's sentence.

The girls ended up being detained at the police station for the rest of the night, which pissed Kendra off - and for good reason.

"They cut out our drinking time," she remarked. "I was so pissed, I was so mad."

But the their spirits brightened when they actually got to meet the Prince of Monaco a couple days later.

"We got to meet the prince and he was very nice," said Kendra with a laugh. "We just told [him] that we were kind of in trouble in front of his house and he was like, 'really?'"

Yes, folks, the celebrity gossip mill is in full swing on this one.

Simply based on a photo - seen here - of Hugh Hefner patting the belly of his main girlfriend, Holly Madison, rumors are swirling that she's carrying his child.

A bit presumptive? We think so. But a source told Star Magazine: "Holly's just dying to get pregnant and marry Hef so he can be all hers."

Such a development would certainly upset the other Girls Next Door - and we doubt it's actually the case. But we'll report more on these rumblings as they come in.
