The Hills: An Epic Saga

It’s a guilty-pleasure, coming-of-age reality show featuring cute girls, but the cover of Us Weekly makes The Hills looks like the MTV version of The Empire Strikes Back. A little over-dramatic, guys?

This week: Heidi Montag’s plot to destroy Lauren Conrad!

Next Monday ends the spring run for The Hills - but rest assured, the epic drama will return for a fourth season this August! The saga continues!

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt: Kentucky Derby Style

After all her plastic surgery and the way she does that pouty thing with her lips, Heidi Montag really looks like a horse these days.

It’s only appropriate, then, that she and Spencer Pratt hit the Kentucky Derby Saturday in Louisville, Ky., looking … well, see below.

At 20:1 odds, Heidi Montag finished 17th in the event. Just kidding.

The Hills are alive with… sexy slumber parties?

The Hills Stars Defend Miley Cyrus

Not everyone is bashing Miley Cyrus for stripping down in Vanity Fair.

“I think she’s a young girl in Hollywood, and she’s just having fun,” The Hills’ Heidi Montag told Extra. “[She]’s exploring herself.”

Added her boyfriend Spencer Pratt: “I didn’t think it was that bad. Supposedly, she’s wearing a top underneath. It’s artistic.”

Heidi Montag, Miley Cyrus

Seems that in defending Miley Cyrus, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and Lauren Conrad may finally have something to agree on!

When asked about the racy pics, Lauren Conrad said:

“I found it a bit silly. I thought she looked beautiful in the pictures. I didn’t find it that inappropriate.”

“Being young and in the spotlight is difficult,” LC added. “It’s a lot of pressure on her since she is a role model, but I think she’s doing a good job.”

The Hills Stars Visit Our Nation’s Capital

The Hills’ nemeses Lauren Conrad and Speidi (Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt) crossed paths again this weekend - but not in SoCal for once.

All were guests at the White House Press Correspondents Association gala, along with various other celebrities? Why? Who knows. But here are pics:

President George W. Bush, while making fun of Sens. Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Barack Obama and himself at the affair, did not make any comments about the Lauren Conrad sex tape rumors, or the upcoming all-new episode of The Hills tonight. Too bad, it’s right up his intellectual alley.

MSNBC Pulls Plug on Heidi Montag

MSNBC reportedly invited Heidi Montag to be a guest at its table at the White House Correspondents Gala. Why? We have no idea.

But that’s not the point. The network balked when boyfriend Spencer Pratt - also Heidi’s manager - insisted on first-class tickets. For the couple.

Only Heidi Montag was invited.

Spencer Pratt then bagged Heidi’s appearance, claiming, according to the New York Post, that “It wasn’t ‘A-listy’ enough” for his girl.

Big Pimpin

A rep for The Hills couple said, “There was a scheduling conflict so they couldn’t make it … but they always travel together.”

Okaaay. An MSNBC spokesperson replied: “We are not having, nor did we invite, any celebrities to sit at our table.”

Lauren Conrad’s Worst Nightmare Comes True

When Lauren Conrad got up from her table at Goa on Monday’s episode of The Hills, she went to get a drink. Simple enough, right? We thought so. She wasn’t expecting this collection of characters when she came to sit back down …

Justin-Bobby, Heidi and Audrina

Justin-Bobby Brescia and Heidi Montag sat and talked with Audrina Patridge. Lauren Conrad’s two least favorite people - together at last!

Not surprisingly, LC did not say anything to either Heidi or Justin-Bobby, rather, she got up out the club right then and there, grabbing sidekick Lauren Bosworth (Lo) and making a break for it. Ah, The Hills. The drama is always on.

Store Actually Stocking Heidi Montag Clothing Line

With the support of manager-boyfriend Spencer Pratt, The Hills star Heidi Montag launches her new clothing line, Heidiwood, at Kitson on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles on Saturday. Yes, some store is actually carrying it.

Looking as plastic and fake as ever, Heidi Montag wore one of her own items to the affair. Think this girl wants to be famous at all? A little?

Fake, Fake, Fake

Despite not-the-greatest reviews of her fashion line, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt smiled the day away and posed with fans. Which apparently they have.

Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt Spin-Off in the Works?

The lovely Lauren Conrad was spun-off Laguna Beach and given her own reality show in The Hills. It became a bona fide smash.

Recently, Jason Wahler - Lauren Conrad’s ex-boyfriend from both shows - lined up his own series, entitled 22 and Taken. Seriously, he did.

Another LC ex, Brody Jenner, is in talks for a reality show too.

You knew, then, that it was only a matter of time before we heard talk of a Hills spin-off featuring Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

The Hills’ most-hated pair is pitching a reality TV show on their journey to the altar to MTV, according to this morning’s New York Post.

Spencer-Heidi Video Game

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt induce vomiting.

The series would exclude Hills star and Heidi nemesis Lauren Conrad to focus solely on the attention-loving pair as they prepare to marry.

The relationship problems of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have been a huge part of the current spring season of The Hills, so who knows.

As for the network’s take on a Heidi-Spencer Hills spin-off series, MTV did not comment at this time, saying “We can’t confirm anything.”

Would you watch a Heidi-Spencer spin-off?
