Lance Bass Takes a Fall

Lance Bass took a fall during his West Coast Swing with Lacey Schwimmer last night.

So did this tandem's score, as they totaled just 21 points.

"I am so used to falling on stage that it doesn't even phase me anymore," Bass said after the show. "I've had 10 years of falling down, so I've done a lot of worse than that!"

Down Goes Lance!

Schwimmer added:

"The West Coast Swing is one of the most difficult dances - There are so many footsteps!"

But will Bass have a chance to make up for his mistake? He tied for last place this week with Cloris Leachman. Someone gets voted off the series tonight.

A Hough Night for Top Pairs on Dancing With the Stars

Viewers were caught in a Hough position last night:

Which sibling performed the best, Derek Hough (with partner Brooke Burke) or Julianne Hough (with partner Cody Linley)? The judges decided the answer was the former, but but one tiny point.

What other couples impressed Dancing with the Stars fans during the fifth week of competition? Read our detailed episode guide now to find out.

Just Jitterbugging

Julianne Hough and Cody Linley Jitterbugged to a perfect score.

Toni Braxton: In Search of Booty

Have you seen Toni Braxton's backside?

The Dancing with the Stars contestant is glad she's remained on the show over its first few weeks of season seven but she does have one complaint.

“I’m losing my booty and I’m not happy about that,” Braxton said to People Magazine. “So if you see it, tell it to come home, please!”

While many competitors celebrate their loss of weight from the training required, Braxton is trying to pack on punds as she heads into week six of the dance competition. How so? She's adding a big Hollywood no-no to her diet: carbohydrates.

“I love pasta but I didn’t eat a lot of carbs [before], now I am,” said the singer, adding that she drinks lots of water and eats protein to maintain her energy during her grueling dance sessions with partner Alec Mazo.

Dancing With the Stars Bids Farwell to Rocco DiSpirito

There were no surprised on Dancing With the Stars last night.

Celebrity chef - and really awful dancer - Rocco DiSpirito was sent home.

He had nothing but kind things to say about the experience and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, at least:

"It's all gravy! This was a wonderful experience and there’s nothing to complain about. I got to learn how to dance. I got to make friends with Karina. I even got Bruno to dance!"

Dancing With the Stars Summary: Brooke Burke is Smokin!

Following a sexy, sexy Samba by Brooke Burke and Derek Hough on Dancing with the Stars last night, Bruno said: “I need a smoke!”

We know how he feels.

The season seven favorites brought their A-game, earning 26 combined points from the panel. But Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer equaled that total with a Tango that included eyeliner... on both Lance and Lacey!

Drew Lachey is Wowed by Warren Sapp

When Drew Lachey talks about Dancing with the Stars, fans should listen.

This is a former show champion, having won the title years ago alongside partner Cheryl Burke.

So, how does Lachey feel about this season so far? He told OK! in its latest issue:

"Right now I still personally think it’s too early. I think Warren Sapp is doing amazingly well for a man of his size, and Brooke Burke’s doing a great job. I think ultimately it’s going to come down to seeing whose personality and likeability comes out, as well as being able to move."

Last Night's Dancing With the Stars: Behind the Scenes

People Magazine has a unique look at last night's Dancing with the Stars.

Many things - such as perfect 10 from Brooke Burke and Derek Hough - stood out in our view, but none more than the giant teddy bear, Warren Sapp, proving once again that he's a serious contender.

Here's what the magazine had to say about him and partner Kym Johnson:

Sapp continues to razzle, dazzle, and charm his way up the leader board. Last week’s paso doble impressed the judges enough to merit an encore dance — and Warren did not disappoint this week. His “beautiful tyrant” Johnson used the week of practice to transform Sapp from “all man” to “southern gentleman” for their Viennese waltz.

The pair kept pace with frontrunners Burke and Hough, despite the fact that Sapp felt it necessary to explain his “wine and pink” ensemble. “It reminds me of one of those Easters, when your mom dresses you and you don’t know any better,” he said with a laugh. “Then you look back on the pictures and you’re like, ‘Why’d you have me in one of those three piece suits? Why’d I have that vest on?’”

Soft Side of Sapp

How far can Warren Sapp go this season on Dancing with the Stars?

Dancing With the Stars Recap: A Fight, A Perfect Score and The Softer Side of Sapp

Contrary to the score they received from judge Len Goodman last night, Brooke Burke and Derek Hough are not perfect.

The tandem received the highest combined marks for the third consecutive week, but last night's Dancing with the Stars was highlighted - or lowlighted, depending on your view - by a training fight between this pair. In happier news, viewers were treated to "the softer side of Sapp," as Warren Sapp referred to himself prior to his solid routine with Kym Johnson.

Read about it all now in our full recap.

Fighting Dancers

Squabbles aside, Brooke Burke and Derek Hough are the team to beat on Dancing with the Stars.

Misty May-Treanor: Out of Dancing with the Stars

Even Misty May-Treanor is human.

Fellow Dancing With the Stars contestant Brooke Burke has confirmed that May-Treanor will be sitting the rest of this year's competition for good, following an injury suffered during training.

"It's such a sad situation. She did hurt her Achilles tendon. I don't know if she tore it or ruptured it," Brooke said on L.A.'s 104.3 FM. "She's out of the competition. Just like that, it's over for her... She heard a pop, so it's really serious."

Misty May-Treanor and Maksim Chmerkovskiy

So, will anyone be eliminated this week in light of May-Treanor's absence? Burke said she had heard a few rumors:

"I heard [Edyta Sliwinska] and [Maksim Chmerkovskiy] may dance together since both of their partners are gone, but I don't know what's going to happen."

Guess we'll have to tune in tonight to find out.

Julianne Hough Disses, Dismisses Kim Kardashian

Julianne Hough is as honest as she is gorgeous.

In response to Kim Kardashian being voted off Dancing with the Stars this week, Hough said:

"Kim was one of the weaker ones. I hate saying that, but it's true.... [she's] a real sweetheart. Everyone has their perceptions of people before they meet them, and I can tell you she’s such a good person. Obviously, though, people have to be voted off to keep the show going. That’s the name of the game."

JH v. KK

Lance Bass said: "I am very sad to see her leave. We are friends outside the show, so I will get to see her anytime I want."

Brooke Burke said: "I would have liked to see her bust out and see more of her dancing. She didn't get the opportunity to do that."
