Daisy De La Hoya and Ambre Lake Dish on Bret Michaels

Daisy De La Hoya PhotoThe final two desperate and pathetic women contestants on this season's Rock of Love only had one thing in common: strong feelings for Bret Michaels.

The reality series ended very differently, as well, for Daisy De La Hoya and Ambre Lake, as the former went home alone and the latter became the latest notch on Michaels' bed and dating posts. Daisy is still dealing with the affects of the outcome.

"After I came off the show, it was really hard. It took me a good two months to recover from everything," she said. "Not just Bret, but everything that happened."

But are you over the former lead singer of Poison, Daisy? Yes, Daisy replied, adding that she and Bret have opposing views of relationships.

"I don't think that Bret understood that there's not going to be any type of physical relationship with him unless we're in a relationship," she said. "That's just how I work. He's a rock star and used to having free relationships and sexual contact with girls, but I am not that girl."

Reality TV Scoop note: Write in now and let us know if you actually believe Michaels never hit that.

Anmbre, conversely, sounds completely understanding of Bret's lifestyle.

"I'm in the entertainment industry, and it's hard to date someone who isn't. I'm always on set. I'm never home. When I'm on set, I can't answer the phone," the show's winner said. "Bret has a similar lifestyle. He's always on the road. It's hard to get in touch with him. So he gets it and it's really refreshing to date someone who understands my life."

We give this couple two weeks.

Bret Michaels, Ambre Lake

Ambre Lake Speaks on Relationship with Bret Michaels

Now that Rock of Love 2 has wrapped up, winner Ambre Lake can finally speak out about dating Bret Michaels. Here are excerpts from a recent chat with VH1:

How has it been spending five months away from Bret? Do feelings change?
Absolutely not. We talked about that at great length. He told me, "Listen, we can't see each other. I'm not even supposed to call you. You need to know what you're up against." I told him that I knew what I signed up for. I'm a strong, confident woman. I'm not needy. Was it hard? Of course. But I feel like it was well worth it.

So you're every bit as in love with Bret as you were in Cancun?
Absolutely.

Ambre Wins!

Did you speak with him during the time between the filming and the reunion?
He got in touch with me several times, and we saw each other. We spent time together and we talked about it, but it was good. I needed to see him. It was nice.

Where are you in your relationship now?
I'm dating Bret. I'm not disillusioned. I don't think we're going to run off and get married. We're dating and we're going to see how this dating process holds, because we were in Cancun, we were on these challenges, I was fighting for love. Now it's time to see how this works in the real world.

Bret Michaels Sued for Desecration of Rock of Love House

Bret Michaels has been added to a breach-of-contract lawsuit filed Friday against the producers of Rock of Love by the owner of the $9 million home where they filmed the VH1 series' second season last winter.

Ray Sahranavard claims at least $380,000 worth of damage was done to his Encino, Calif., mansion after Mindless Entertainment Inc. promised to take care of the residence and provide an additional $3 million of liability insurance for him. Just in case, of course.

Sahranavard alleges that, upon returning to his home after two months of filming, he found holes in the walls and ceilings, the doors had been removed, most of his grass and outdoor plants had died, and the interior of the home had been almost entirely repainted.

We hate to even speculate on what he found on the sheets.

A general contractor assessed the damage at $380,000.

An Inside Look at Rock of Love

What does Bret Michaels look for in a woman? A pair of contestants on Rock of Love know the answer, as detailed by TV Guide in a new feature on the show:

The two women crowd around a mirror, slicing ordinary tops into shredded piece of garments/rocker seduction.

"Does that look too slutty?" a blonde asks, attacking her white tank. A brunette hacks three inches off her own black fishnet shirt: "Yeah, but that's a good thing!" The fishnet scrap is wrapped around a lamp, and cleavage bounces as everyone points and laughs in delight: "Look, now the lamp looks slutty, too!"

Bret Michaels, Women

As women are voted off every week on the show, the remaining hopefuls learn from their competitors' mistakes. They've been doing whatever it takes â€" lap dances and stripper-pole work included â€" to win the attention of the former Poison lead singer.

Once they get it, do any of them sample what Michaels refers to as "the real rock of love"? When asked, Michaels gets that bad-boy look in his eyes and says: "I don't want to kiss and tell, but so far, there might'a been a couple, two or three."

Bret Michaels Speaks on Rock of Love Past and Future

Bret Michaels PicBret Michaels says he struggled with his decision during the first season of Rock of Love, never being completely sure who to send home.

Eventually, the washed up rock star opted for Jes Ricklef instead of Heather Chadwell. But Jes rejected him during the reunion show. Oh, the shame!

"There's nothing more embarrassing to be in your own reality show and being blown off in your own reality show, which is [an] amazing feeling," Michaels said.

Although being dumped isn't really a huge let down for Michaels - seeing that he is given another chance to look for his ideal match on Rock of Love 2 - he admits that he made a mistake during the first season and takes full responsibility for it.

"As crazy as it is, you get emotionally attached… And last year in the end, I thought I made the right decision.  I thought Jes was beautiful…intelligent, sexy, smart, funny, but in the end, I'd probably should have picked Heather because we are still great friends," Michaels admitted.  "I made the wrong decision.  I take full responsibility as much as that is hard for me to say."

We guess that's a sign of maturity.

Bret Michales Comments on Rock of Love, Jes Rickleff

Bret Michaels is ready for Rock of Love 2.

At least more than he was for the original reality series, which the musician admits came at a bad time: he wasn't prepared for a relationship during the show, making it a good thing Jes Rickleff dumped him, as guess.

Such a Hottie

"I had just come out of a long relationship with two kids," Michaels said. "I was more ready for 'Rock of Like' or 'Rock of Dating.' Jes and me had a real dose of reality when the show ended. There were five months in between and we talked on the phone a few times. I invited her to my shows in Chicago and St. Louis, but she didn't come.

The reality of reality dating is kind of strange."

Gee, you think, Bret?

Bret Michaels Ready to Rock (of Love) Again

Jess Rickleff may have dumped Bret Michaels... but she did not discourage this aging rock star from finding love.

The front man for the rock band Poison has agreed to star in Rock of Love 2, following the lead of Tiffany Pollard. She's currently starring in I Love New York 2, and has claimed to have found a soul mate through it.

Nearly five million viewers tuned into the Rock of Love finale two weeks ago, while another four million came back to see a reunion show last Sunday. The reality TV series has been among the top-10 rated shows on cable for weeks.

A casting notice seeking women for the second series appeared yesterday on MySpace.

Rodeo Still Wants to Ride Bret Michaels

Rodeo Rodeo was sent home mid-way through the Rock of Love season when her son got sick - but she says she was shocked when the winner, Jes Rickleff, told Bret Michaels he'd made the wrong choice.

"But I could understand how Jes felt," she said.

And now that Bret and his stringy blonde extensions have been spurned by his Rickleff, Rodeo believes she may have another shot at him.

"Tons of the other girls were saying, 'now you'll have second chance. I'm going to see where it goes. I'm not going to chase after anybody," Rodeo said to TMZ.com.

As for redheaded Rock of Love villain Lacey, Rodeo added "

"When people take medication with liquor, that's dangerous."

Editorial Gives Props to Scott Baio, Bret Michaels Reality Shows

The following is an editorial from the A.V. Club, dissecting a pair of new reality shows...

As a rule, I'm not fond of reality TV, but that rule has been shattered in recent years by shows about faded celebrities on the edge. There's pure schadenfreude involved in watching Danny Bonaduce (the world's first post-reality star, in my opinion) get fired up on 'roids and drink himself silly; and an equal amount of joy and pain is involved when Tim Sizemore falls out of his car.

Such a Hottie Now, VH1 has done it again, though to a slightly less-depressing degree. Last Sunday saw the first episodes of Scott Baio Is 45… And Single and Rock Of Love, a Flavor Of Love knockoff starring Bret Michaels of Poison.

Both shows, which air Sundays (and will probably re-run every five seconds), are about marginally talented dudes who got lots of, umm, poontang, in their heydays, but who are now looking for a "meaningful relationship." In other words, pathetic man-children crybabies who somehow still make enough money this long after the fact to shame God. You get to laugh at them, America - that's your prize.

The clear winner in the pain/pleasure game is Scott Baio. Confused by the fact that he always "runs into a wall" in relationships - clearly when he tires of fucking whoever he's fucking - Baio hires a life coach to help him sort his shit out. She suggests that he not have sex with anyone - including his current long-term girlfriend - for two months, and that he revisit old lovers to find out where he went wrong.

In the first episode, Baio lunches with Erin Moran - that'd be Joanie Cunningham - with whom he lost his virginity. I'll let you watch to really experience the moist, ugly patheticness. (Fun fact: Hearing the word "Chachi" sends Baio into a rage.)

But far more exciting than Joanie - or even Chachi himself 0 is Baio's ridiculous Entourage-style posse, including Jason Hervey, a.k.a. the big brother from The Wonder Years, who now chomps on cigars and looks like a choad. But the star of Scott Baio, for my money (and based only on the first episode), is his friend Johnny V. He doesn't want Baio to stop getting laid, because that means he won't get Baio's sloppy seconds. This is almost, but not quite explicitly, stated.

Johnny - mind you, this is based on just one episode - might prove the best thing about the show. And after the show is over (especially if Baio gets his s-it sorted out), I predict Johnny V. will make headlines for killing a hooker. (This may be an exaggeration, but only slight.) In any case, watch this. It's as unnerving as a Michael Haneke movie.

Rock Of Love might lose its luster quickly, but the first episode was ridiculously fun. The premise: 25 slutty rocker chicks compete for the affection of slutty rocker dude Bret Michaels. He thinks they're all amazingly beautiful. (They are most assuredly not.) The first episode is overrun by a drunk Chicago woman who doesn't make the first cut, but begs her way back into the house anyway. She slurs, she insults, she's gross… And do you think she makes it to the next round? She does.

Here's how you know who made it: Bret places an all-access laminate around a girl's neck and says, "Will you stay in this house and rock my world?" What more do you need to know? The second episodes of both shows air this weekend on VH1, as do reruns of the first. Soak it in.

Bret Michaels Prepares for Rock of Love

If Flavor Flav can try to find love on television, it's only natural that former Poison lead singer Bret Michaels would try to do the same.

Here's how VH-1 describes his show, Rock of Love, which premieres July 15:

Rock's about to get a dose of reality…TV. This summer Poison's Bret Michaels will get his Flav on as the ladies pictured here vie for his attention in the Celebreality elimination-based dating show Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.

Rock of Love

"We knew women vying to date a rock star would make great entertainment but Bret brought outrageousness and excitement to the show that exceeded our wildest expectations," said show executive producers Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego. "From motorbike wrecks to Vegas rock concerts, it's a show where you can't miss a single moment."
