Big Brother 10 Spoilers, News

In an interview with WeLoveBigBrother.com, executive producer Allison Grodner revealed the following pieces of information about Big Brother 10, which is set to premiere on July 13…

  • There will be thirteen house guests.
  • They will all be complete and all be total strangers.
  • The cast will be as diverse as ever; look for parents, students, blue-collar and white-collar workers.
  • There will be live audiences once again for the live evictions, but it will be different from how the series did this in season one.

We know Big Brother is a monster hit and all, but we’ve never met anyone that actually watches it. Write in today and let us know the appeal of this long-running reality show.

Big Brother 10: Wildest Cast Yet

In an interview with TV Guide, Executive Producer Allison Grodner said the following about Big Brother 10:

“We’re going to have our wildest group yet. We’ve found some very extreme personalities with very extreme points of view.

Even the older cast members will be getting into the crazy swing of things, Grodner said: “They’re seeing that the younger contestants are impulsive and explosive and do themselves in. The older ones now feel they’ve got a real shot at the money.”

The wildest Big Brother yet?!? We can’t even begin to imagine what that would entail.

Adam Jasinski Wins Big Brother 9

Adam Jasiniski won Big Brother 9 last night.

The 29-year-old public relations manager from Del Ray Beach took home the show’s $500,000 grand prize by a 6 to 1 jury vote. To his credit, Adam sounds far more grounded than most reality show winners. No offense, Ambre Lake.

“I’ll give to the United Autism Foundation - $100,000 - and help these children with an after-school program,” said Jasiniski when host Julie Chen asked what his plans were for the money.

Reality TV Recaps: Big Brother, Top Chef

We haven’t fully recovered yet from the injustice of Carly Smithson being voted off American Idol last night, but we’ll try to remain strong and deliver a few other reality TV show recaps. To wit…

Big Brother: We found Sheila and Adam utterly charming together, especially when they were shackled after having lost the luxury comp. Sure, Sheila snapped at Adam incessantly — but seeing her crawl into bed with Adam while wearing nothing but her bra and panties was all the proof we needed to know that these truly liked and respected each other… — Entertainment Weekly

Top Chef: Entering the kitchen for the Quickfire competition, Nikki spots a table full of sweets and gets excited – she’s all about dessert. The guest judge is award-winning pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini. Wow, that would make a cool gangster name… — Reality News Online

Reality TV Recaps: The Real World, Big Brother

While it may seem as though Big Brother has been on forever, it’s only churned out half the number of seasons as MTV’s The Real World. Below, we recap both reality TV mainstays…

The Real World Hollywood: We first met Joey, 24 years old from Chicago, who wants to be an actor. He’s very concerned with his looks, feeling that a good body is the key to success in Hollywood. Reality TV Recaps: Top Chef, Big Brother, Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious

In between donation phone calls to Idol Gives Back last night, we found time to watch a trio of other reality TV shows. Here’s what we saw:

Top Chef: The guest judge is Ming Tsai, who Lisa describes as being known for his “east-meets-west cuisine.” This challenge is all about a trained palate: it’s the blindfold taste test. Antonia’s psyched because this is her favorite challenge on the show… Reality News Online
