Tamra Barney is a cast member on The Real Housewives of Orange County. She premiered on the third season of the show.
Barney was born and raised in California. She's a mother of four and has been married to her husband, Simon, for 13 years.
He's the father to three of her children - Sidney, Spencer and Sophia. Tamra's oldest son, Ryan, is 21 years old, from a previous marriage.

I can't believe my eyes every week when I watch this show, that a grown woman with children can be so catty, immature and jealous. What a horrible role model for those children. The only thing they probably learn from their mother is how to be two-faced, spoiled and just generally an all around void of a human being. The jealousy she displays towards Gretchen is just embarrassing to watch, frankly, and Tamra and Vicki just give the whole state of California a bad name. She should be ashamed of herself for behaving like such an idiotic a**hole.

I live in OC and I am so TOTALLY disgusted with the behavior of these women. They are not real OC housewives at all; they are the exception. New money always behaves this way. I can't comprehend how, if they do indeed have money, they have such awful fried damaged hair and skin. And the revealing "get-ups" they wear are so tastless and downright slutty. Who on earth picks these people to represent OC?

I am appalled at how Tamra acted on the show last night..How immature can you get? And whoever referred to her as the hottest housewife, defintely needs glasses..I would be embarrassed if I was Simon to claim that he was married to someone that actually is demon possessed as she is.. She is pimping her HOMELY GOD AWFUL UGLY AS HELL SON!!! If I didn't know any better, I bet he goes both ways. I wish Tamra and Vicki would take a long walk off of a short pier...How ugly could you get? Tamra what difference does it make who Gretchen sleeps with anyway? Were you jealous that it wasn't your UGLY GOOD FOR NOTHING PIMP of a son? ANd you getting jealous of Gretchen's new bike..You really need to concentrate on being a mother.. You need the Oscar for the performance "TELL mE YOU LOVE ME DADDY?" How insecure can you get? ANd grabbing your husbands crotch on tv..I am surprised that Simon didn't haul off and slug you...I can't wait for your kids to see the reruns of that show...You wanted to get Gretchen drunk enough to sleep with Ryan.. I am appaled at how Tamra has been acting around Gretchen. It is soooo clear that she is jealous that a younger, beautiful woman with a fun personality is seen as a threat to Tamra. Why is this woman focusing so much on hating Gretchen when she should be focusing on herself. You're NOT the hottest housewife!!!!

Has anyone suggested to the housewives that they each need a stylist? They all look a little long in the tooth with their '80's hair and "junior" department wardrobes. They should give some consideration to looking good for their age rather than like crap by trying to shave a few decades....

Vicki seems to dress more appropriate for her age. Trampy Tamra, however, seems to love Forever 21....lol I think women watch this show, to see how it would be to have tons of money and a lavish, classy lifestyle!! Tamra does not fit in here!! Her personality leaves a lot to be desired. Self-centered, jealous, greedy, materialistic phony. I read that she was "busted" for leaving countless trashy comments about Gretchen on a website, they tracked the IP to her house!!!! Again....classless as they come!!!

It is all over the internet that Tamra's house is now in "short sale" aka FORECLOSURE! Ha! Ha! Ha!
Turns out she never had money to begin with! She is a liar and a fraud. She was always pointing the finger at Gretchen so people wouldn't discover what a trailer trash liar she really is.
And if that wasn’t enough they have civil credit collections problems too.
