Ruby, I think you are a beautiful person inside and out. I hope you are able to take off the weight you want to. You are still young so don't forget to enjoy every day, do whatever it takes to find your peace and trust in yourself. I wish I had your spark. Sixty-five is much too old to start having fun now. I wish you every happiness. I'm honored that you are sharing your heart with the world. I will be with you on your return for 2nd season.

I watch your show all of the time.... I just started watching your show a while ago and I think you are an amazing person and I wish you all the luck w/your journey, your new job and anything else you do.... love the 2nd season... even the "repeats" LOL

Hi Ruby I wish you all the sucess in wieght loss and happiness. I have had a wieght problem my entire life I know what you go through.People treat me differently , they assume that I eat non-stop and I don't.I have been on diets since I was 7 years old. I remmember my mother talking in front of me saying she did not know what she would do with me .It taught me to not do this to kids and kill their self esteem. I look for the good in people but some times it is hard to find.
I also understand your feelings regarding your ex boyfriend or what ever he should be called. I was contacted by a man on a dating service in Rome Georgia. He led me on and talked about love and marriage then called me names such as chump and much worse.David , this man is heavy but likes to hurt women.It is sad to think that there are people out there who take such pleasure in hurting people.I will not allow this to devestate me ,a man like that is not worth it and taints his soul.
Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world without pregudice , hatred and pain.
We can just take it one day at a time and keep looking for the best in people and hopefully find it .
Again I wish you sucess as I do for my self ,all the best.

Precious Ruby, I absolutely adore you. You are beautiful! I am in prayer for your success in your weight loss journey -you can do it! The Word teaches that we can do all things through Christ, our Saviour. You say that Dennie kicked you to the curb but I know that he loves you - I can see it in his eyes! I think he is precious. I would love to meet you. My granddaughter and I were going to Savannah to meet you and Paul Dean but we cancelled because we thought the trip would be in vain. Hi Ruby!i applaud you for your struggles and your continuing desire to regain your health and a normal life. i too struggled for years with up and down weight. It wasn't til last year that i realized, i was shortening my own life. i had asthma, diabetes, two knee replacements, frequent headaches, and many more health issues. Facing my own mortality, i knew things had to change. At my heaviest 250lbs.i didn't like myself or who i saw in the mirror. i am 63 trs. old, depressed and felt unloved, even though i weas married.I reached my bottom, i wanted to live and be happy again. I didn't change for my husband but for Linda. In the last yr. i have gone from a size 26 to a size 16. i changed my eating habits, and learned to love the person i had become. Stronger and much wiser! I now go to Curves and walk at least 3 times a week. I realize the things i had gone through as a child had led to my obesity. I had been sexually abused by my Father at age,9 til i was an adult nearing my thirties.I learned that it wasn't my fault that it wasn't anything i had done, but something within my father. I learned forgiveness! I wrote my story down on paper and it released all those years of torment i had kept inside, So, Ruby you are a true inspiration to all of us whom have struggled for so long.
