Joanna Pacitti could be considered an American Idol ringer by some. This aspiring season eight contestant has already had a record deal, though it didn't lead to a successful career
In May 2006, Pacitti's first single, "Let It Slide", was released under Geffen Records. Her debut album, This Crazy Life was released on August 15. However, a year later, she was no longer with the label.
The singer successfully tried out for Idol in Louisville during the second week of auditions. She was eventually disqualified from the competition, however, due to ties with record label exeuctives close to the show.
