Jake Pavelka is 31-year old airline pilot from Dallas. He flies commercial jets and was a contestant on season five of The Bachelorette, often telling Jillian Harris he was "too perfect" for many women.
Jake advanced far on the show, but made real news when he was given the boot: he returned a few days later and actually ratted out fellow contestant Wes Hayden. He told Jillian that Wes was lying and had a girlfriend.
In October 2009, rumors began to swirl that Pavelka would be named the 14th bachelor on ABC's popular series The Bachelor. Think he makes a good selection?
