This world class athlete actually was a member of the Gold Medal-winning 4X400 meter relay at the 2004 Olympics. Impressive, to say the least.

I don't think they would have let her on if they were going to set up some challenges that would give her an advantage. But I think they do do that with every contestant. They find out what their strengths and weaknesses are and they put them to the test to see if they will over come their weakness and fear, or what ever.
