Adam Lambert finished second on the eighth season of American Idol.
He got off to a solid start during his audition in San Francisco, as all four judges approved this stage actor for the next round. He impressed them with a rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen.
Lambert has appeared in a production of Wicked and was introduced to music by his DJ-playing father. He received a standing ovation following his semifinal audition of "Satisfaction" by The Rolling Stones and was voted through to the final 13.
He was our favorite on the show, impressing us more and more each week. Look for a huge career, for many years to come, for Adam Lambert.

Have to say, Adam's been my fave ever sense he walked into the room. My first thought was(Not to mention words...I spoke this, sadly, outloud) "Now, who is this Emo- David Cook?!" And when I herd his voice, I must say, not only did I think he was over the top sexy, but he was nothing close to David Cook-Better I believe. I hope he wins, cause, really, he's already my American Idol.
