Hills' Neighbor Hating; Shopping Own Show?

With all the media coverage of the noisy dent Lauren Conrad and her roomies are making in their cozy Hollywood Hills enclave, several neighbors have also been getting more time in the spotlight than usual.

E! reports that Hills-side neighbor and The Pussycat Dolls producer Steven Antin may be shopping a reality TV show about what it's like to reside down a few houses away from LC, Lo and Audrina Patridge.

Look for the fire and brimstone anytime, people.

Neighbors of Lauren Conrad are pissed... and looking to cash in?

A Los Angeles Times article yesterday quoted an L.A. Councilman who said that Antin, one of the most vehement objectors to the disruption wrought by The Hills on their neighborhood, was actually shopping his own show.

"The entire street has filed complaints," Antin said. "Everyone in the neighborhood has filed complaints."

The Hills: Season Four Trailer

Looks like Lauren Conrad has more BFF drama in the upcoming fourth season of The Hills, which premieres August 18 on MTV.

Friend-turned-rival of the season: Stephanie Pratt.

The reason? Steph moves in on LC's new boy Doug Reinhardt.

Meanwhile, Lo Bosworth and Audrina Patridge try to sort out their own tensions, Whitney Port has a new man in her life, and Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt fight with their siblings - and each other.

All that ca-razy drama and a whole lot more makes the Season 4 trailer for The Hills a definite must-see. Peep it below:

A Capital Idea: The Hills in D.C.

Move over Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad.

A new version of The Hills may make Orange Country hijink sooooo last year!

According to TMZ, a Washington D.C. version of the hit reality show is set to start shooting in the end of August. Among the beltway babes that might be featured on the series are:

  • Katherine Kennedy
  • Sophie Pyle
  • Sisters Krista and Alexa Johnson

Reportedly, these gals refers to themselves the "Blonde Charity Mafia" because of their philanthropy work.

Cat fights, backstabbing best friends, sex tape rumors and charitable endeavors?!? This show can't start soon enough.

Whitney Port to Star in Hills Spin-Off!

A new reality series is in the works - a spin-off of The Hills starring none other than ... Whitney Port! Hooray for Whitney!

A source says the new show will follow Whitney as she works for fashion PR firm People's Revolution and befriends some NYC gals.

Whitney Port (with The Hills star Lauren Conrad) is going solo!

Says the insider of the upcoming Whitney Port reality show: "There will be more blondes in the city than you ever expected!"

Alright, then.

Go, Whitney! This is great news for all fans of reality TV that probably isn't reality at all. What's next? A Stephanie Pratt reality show?

NOTE: We hope so.

Stephanie Pratt: Dating Brett Novek

Brett Novek was a contestant on America's Most Smartest Model.

In case you're wondering why the hunk didn't win, here's a hint: the clueless dude is dating Stephanie Pratt of MTV's The Hills.

Brett Novek

"He's really sweet and cute," Stephanie told In Touch about Novek, who was spotted whispering in her ear and making her laugh at the Target Converse One Star party in L.A. on June 1.

We wonder if Spencer Pratt approves. We also wonder if Spencer Pratt has ever given a thought to anyone except for himself.

The Hills Ratings Dominate Reality TV Shows

Monday night's finale of The Hills was watched by 2.94 million viewers between the ages of 12-34 and 3.77 total viewers, MTV said Wednesday.

The ratings made The Hills finale the most watched show in its time period among 12-34-year-olds across both cable and broadcast networks.

The Hills Rivals

Rivals Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag - along with Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and all the bit players - can share in the ratings glory.

The Hills is the top original cable series this year among its demographic - and makes up 7 out of the top 10 cable shows among young viewers.

The season premiere of The Hills in March drew an average of 4.7 million total viewers - the highest-rated cable show of the night, period.

This season of The Hills reached over 43 million total viewers and was the highest rated MTV series since Real World XIV: San Diego in '04.

The Hills: A Glimpse at Season Four

Season Three just ended, but here's a look at what we can expect in the next season of The Hills, courtesy of TV Guide:

Boys and Relationships:
For Season 4, expect more, more, more. Lo and Lauren throw a big party in their new pad and invite boys galore. The ever-single Stephanie feasts her eyes on, well, everyone, and Lauren may have a new beau in tow. And as for Audrina and Justin Bobby? They're definitely back on, but as for how hot things will get, Audrina would only say, "[Justin has] always been there for me, and he still is."

Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag Pictures

Drama and Frenemies:
Don't hold your breath for a Lauren-Heidi relationship thaw. Despite Heidi's ostensible good-will appearance at Goa, Lauren says she "will probably not" reconcile with Heidi. Ever. And as for the growing tension among Audrina, Lauren and Lo, it's just a part of growing up. Audrina says she knows her new focus on her career has meant that she's not around as much for Lauren. Add Justin to the picture, and you've got a recipe for friendship dissolution.
