Audrina Patridge Heads For The Hills

So what drove Audrina Patridge to move out of the house she shared with Lauren Conrad and Lauren Bosworth (Lo)?

“I just wanted my own place,” Patridge told Maxim magazine. “If anything, I feel like it will help out all our friendships.”

It’s no secret that Audrina and Lo don’t exactly get along.

“The only reason Lo and I are friends is because of Lauren,” she said. “They grew up together and hang out all the time.”

As for LC and her other former roommate, Heidi Montag, Patridge says the hatred between The Hills stars is the real deal.

“They really don’t like each other, but I’m friends with both of them,” she said. “When we hang out, I don’t talk about the other. I’m like Switzerland.”

The duck-lipped one has been in Patridge’s shoes and supports the move.

“It’s time in Audrina’s life to move out,” Heidi Montag said. “I’m very excited for her and I think she’ll do great. I love Audrina. We were friends before her and Lauren were friends. And we still talk.”

The Hills Recap: "When Lauren's Away"

As this episode of The Hills gets underway, Lauren Conrad packs for a trip to Italy. Right after, Stephanie Pratt tells Audrina Patridge how Doug Reinhardt - yes, Lauren's Doug - asked her out. LC is not gonna like this.

At the club, Audrina and Lo are hanging out and the great Spencer and Heidi arrive! Heidi says hi. Lo, however, looks like she wants to kill herself.

Heidi cannot believe about Doug Reinhardt and Stephanie Pratt either, then invites Audrina and Lo to a Bolthouse X-Games Party the next night.

Even Spencer is telling Stephanie that the date is a bad idea, but she's not getting the message. She goes through with the date with Doug.

LC and She-Pratt's friendship will be put to the test by this.

Stephanie asks Doug about Brody Jenner, his buddy, and tells him how she did not tell Lauren Conrad about the date. Then the unexpected happens.

No, Doug doesn't say something intelligent. Brody's mom arrives and says hi to both of them. One could say it was an awkward run-in.

Lauren Conrad finally gets home and hears the details on Stephanie and Doug from Audrina and Lo. The reaction was predictably bad.

That night, Brody makes it even worse when he tells her how his mom caught them and Doug had lied about where he was going.

The Hills Recap: You Always Miss a Best Friend

This episode of The Hills is appropriately titled "You Always Miss A Best Friend" - referring to the broken down relationship between Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. You know, the non-friendship that fuels the whole show.

It turns out that Holly Montag, sister of Heidi, wants to make it work though. Much like Stephanie Pratt has tried to be friends with LC. It's like no one cares what Spencer Pratt thinks... or are just trying to mess with him.

Elsewhere, Lo and Audrina are actually civil to each other, and Justin-Bobby hurts Audrina yet again. Follow this link for our full recap of The Hills ...

The Hills Recap: Something Has to Change

On the heels of Sunday night's special episode of The Hills, "Boys Make Girls Cry," we get another new episode last night.

Monday's episode began with people desperate to find out how the heck Doug Reinhardt and Brody Jenner ended up in jail.

The morning after the big bash, Lauren Conrad, Stephanie Pratt, and Lo Bosworth try to track down the boys.

When they finally do, the boys laugh it off. They are so tough. The girls are far from pleased and call them idiots.

Meanwhile, Lauren and Audrina Patridge finally decide to hash things out. Will they be successful and save the friendship?

Find out in our recap of "Something Has to Change."

The Hills Coming to "The City"

The Hills may be about to spawn - on the East Coast!

According to the New York Post, an upcoming pilot of a rumored spinoff called The City were shot at the Meatpacking District eatery Nero.

"The central character will be artist Jay Lyon, who has been featured in an episode of The Hills with Whitney Port," a source said.

"When they worked together, they hit it off and started dating."

During the shoot, MTV cameras captured the cross-country lovebirds having an intimate dinner and sharing an earnest conversation.

Here's hoping this is true - for fans of The Hills, as well as for Whitney Port, who we've always loved and wished to learn more about!

The Hills Recap: Boys Make Girls Cry

When LC goes to Vegas and Holly Montag moves into Spencer's apartment, there's gonna be two cities' worth of drama in The Hills.

Lauren Conrad and Co. headed to Vegas for Frankie's birthday, and what would have been a fun night in Sin City turned into drama central after Brody Jenner continuously made rude comments to Stephanie Pratt.

Back in L.A., Spencer Pratt was in rare form (even for him), resorting to some passive-aggressive rage and flat-out whining when Heidi Montag's sister Holly dared crash at their place for awhile. He's so awesome.

Whitney Port Says Goodbye to Lauren Conrad?

Last week, BFFs Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port were snapped filming an episode of The Hills at a Beverly Hills restaurant.

According to the paparazzi, they were filming some pretty "emotional" scenes. Lauren apparently cried as Whitney left the set.

Could this be the episode where Whitney Port informs LC that she's leaving LA for her Diane Von Furstenberg gig in New York?

The Hills Recap: Better Off As Friends

On the third episode of The Hills' fourth season, the title immediately gives away that a breakup and/or fizzled date is in the works.

Who could it be? Theories abound. Is it Spencer and Heidi? Audrina and J-Bobby? Lauren and Doug? Whitney and mystery man?

Presenting: Team Heidi Montag!

TV Guide has take The Hills' long-running feud to a new level by actually putting the respective "teams" in uniform!

Team Heidi - basically Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag taking on everyone else - may be shy on manpower, but it's a formidable squad. Her singing alone could wipe out entire countries, and he's a brilliant schemer.

One can only wonders what plays Spencer will call next.

Who knows who would actually win a football game between the squads. But follow the jump for a look at the (sexy!) Team Lauren Conrad roster ...
