John McCain: Big Fan of The Hills, Heidi Montag

Republican presidential nominee John McCain took a minute on the campaign trail to comment on his latest celebrity endorser: Heidi Montag.

"I'm honored to have Heidi's support and want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started," McCain told Time.

He did not comment specifically on this Monday's two episodes, which were, like, OMG, so good. Especially when Heidi and Spencer bicker!

Sen. John McCain's comment comes just hours after Heidi Montag's endorsement of him on Us Weekly's website: "I'm voting for John McCain," Montag, 21, said, "I'm a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience."

We know John McCain is a man of honesty and integrity, but does he really watch The Hills? This can't really be true, can it?

If so, maybe he can tap Spencer Pratt as V.P.

Jason Wahler, Brody Jenner Both Get Reality TV Shows

Yes, The Hills' current resident hottie, Brody Jenner, 23, and the show's former resident hottie, Jason Wahler, 21, are both getting new reality shows!

Jenner will reportedly star in a Hills spin-off that is, shall we say, a little bit more geared towards the young man's lifestyle than The Hills' girliness.

"Brody is in talks with MTV but the details of the project have not been confirmed," Jenner's rep said in statement to People.

Brody also was on The Princes of Malibu, if you recall, with brother Brandon, and is a frequent guest on E!'s Keeping up with the Kardashians (his father is actually married to the mother of all those crazy Kardashians)!

Meanwhile, the other infamous former beau of Lauren Conrad on both The Hills and Laguna Beach, Jason Wahler, is also headed back to reality TV!

"We start filming in April. It'll be the real-life version of Entourage," Jason said. "I've got a lot going on: auditions, movies, parties... It's not exactly the same as Entourage â€" I'm not making $10 million a movie!"

The show will air on VH1, supposedly, but when it does, don't expect to see a lot of his fiancée, Katja Decker-Sadowski: "Most of my relationship will be private," Jason Wahler says. "I didn't want to make Newlyweds."

British Version of The Hills Begins Casting

MTV UK applicants between 18-21 years old who love being in front of the camera and are followers of fashion, art and (of course) partying / clubbing.

Are you the next (British) Lauren or Heidi?

Of course, wannabe reality TV celebrities should also have "striking looks"  (see Laguna Beach) and an "aspirational lifestyle." Whatever that means.
What do you think? Which character on The Hills are you most like?

The Hills Episode Guides: Unexpected Friends in L.A.

Wow! Two episodes of The Hills, back-to-back, on one Monday night. You can only imagine the drama that went down when Lauren Conrad learned that the one and only Stephanie Pratt - sister of Spencer Pratt - was in her class at FIDM!

Elsewhere, Whitney Port bid farewell to Teen Vogue and got a cool new job, where she works more on the styling end of fashion. Clueless Spencer and plastic Heidi Montag, meanwhile, continued their epic feud / mini-breakup.

Whitney Port Talks About Life, Fashion, The Hills

The Hills' Whitney Port has lived a quieter public life than her BFF Lauren Conrad, but it doesn't mean she hasn't been along for the crazy ride.

Chris Yandek of TheSportsInterview.com was lucky enough to interview Whitney Port last week. Below are some excerpts from his interview ...

Q: How has The Hills changed your day-to-day life?

Whitney Port: "Just in terms of careers. I never thought I would be doing something with television. It changes just in the fact that you walk outside and watch your step and not trust too willingly. Other than that I have stayed true to myself, kept my old friends, and the whole good deal."

Q: You definitely have kept your personal and private life off camera. What was the main reason?

Whitney Port: "The main reason is just those things like dating, family, and friends are just so valuable to me and I didn't want to put any strain on any of the relationships and you can see how the cameras around people can make people a little bit loopy. I didn't want to bring that into my life."

Q: Maybe the fact is you just wanted to show who you were professionally and be a good role model for young girls watching you on television?

Whitney Port: "Definitely, definitely, very good way of putting it."

Q: Season four is going to start with your and Lauren Conrad's trip to Paris for Teen Vogue. What should the fans expect?

Whitney Port: "The fans should just expect us working our little butts off in Paris. There is a special event that we are able to work at and we had to have a couple nights of fun, but other than that we just work really…really hard. You get to see the glamorous lifestyle of all these Parisian debutantes. It's pretty fun."

Q: What are we going to see from you this season?

Whitney Port: "New job opportunities. Other than that we've filmed, but I haven't seen the season. I am not sure what they are going to show."

The Hills Movie in the Works?

Hey, you never know, it could happen.

"We have kind of talked about it," star Lauren Conrad tells MTV News this week. "We have absolutely talked about it.

"I think if they were going to do a film of The Hills, they would basically film it like we do the show, and they would just edit it into a movie."

"It would be like a really long episode!"

The Hills Drama

Co-Stars Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad of The Hills.

The new season of the MTV reality TV hit, which debuted Monday night, scored its highest ratings ever, attracting an impressive 4.7 million viewers.

It was the most watched program across all of television for viewers aged 12 to 34 and the highest rated cable telecast thus far in 2008.

The Hills Gossip: Trouble in Vegas For Heidi, Spencer

So fake, so plastic, so annoying but oh so entertaining. Yes folks, The Hills' Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are as great a couple as reality TV could ask for.

On Monday's season premiere of The Hills, Spencer Pratt traveled to Colorado - unannounced - to try to patch up his relationship with Heidi Montag.

It didn't go well. But The Hills gossip and rumor mills are swirling that even though these events took place awhile ago, things are still rocky with Speidi.

Heidi n Spencer

Sources at various casinos say that not only did they stay in different rooms during their trip to Las Vegas this week, in which The Hills cameras were present and rolling, they are staying in different hotels altogether. Talk about some drama!

Heidi Montag is staying at the Palazzo, while Spencer Pratt has checked into the Hard Rock. When The Hills cameras stopped filming the gruesome twosome on multiple occasions, interaction was limited between the two. OMG!

Record Ratings For The Hills Premiere

The season premiere of The Hills, "Paris Changes Everything," was the highest rated episode of the series in its three-plus season history, according to MTV.

With about 4.7 million viewers Monday, the premiere of the Lauren Conrad-led reality show was the most watched program across all of TV for viewers aged 12 to 34 in its time slot, and the highest rated cable telecast of 2008 so far.

An additional 1.8 million streams were delivered on Tuesday by MTV.com. It is more and more clear that The Hills is MTV's cash cow these days!

The Hills Recap: From Colorado to Paris

On last night's season premiere of The Hills, Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port arrive in Paris to help out at the Crillon Ball for Teen Vogue.

"It's a new world for you," a driver cautions. "Everything is different."

Lauren and Whitney proceed to run errands for Teen Vogue and talk about boys. When LC hears that Brody Jenner is dating someone else... look out!

Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag Pictures

Meanwhile, Heidi Montag is spending some quality time with her folks in Crested Butte, Colo., a depressed Spencer Pratt tells his sister, Stephanie, how he's going to win Heidi back by surprising her out there in the mountains.

Let's just say it doesn't go over well. That's putting it mildly.

This is the same preview we've posted in the past but it's the best - there's no telling what to expect Lauren and Whitney make it to Paris, Brody Jenner informs Lauren that he started dating someone else, or Justin-Bobby returns to Audrina's life.
