Matt Grant: Dating Sarah Robarts!

Matt Grant, the reigning star of The Bachelor, has fallen in love again — this time for his British-born public relations representative, Sarah Robarts.

He says a business relationship with Sarah Robarts, 39, eventually evolved into an emotional bond: “It’s the best relationship I have ever been in. I’m completely in love. She’s beautiful inside and out. She’s one in a million.”

She's at least 10 times better than that annoying skank Shayne Lamas. And we don't even know Sarah Robarts! That tells you all you need to know about Shayne Lamas. In any case, we're happy Matt has moved on with her.

Having ditched Shayne Lamas, Matt Grant is now in love with Sarah Robarts.

Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas split in July. He and Sarah Robarts soon started dating.

“We connected on every level,” he says. “If she were on The Bachelor, there would not have been a competition. It would’ve been the shortest season ever.”

Oh, snap, Shayne Lamas! You just got served by Matt Grant on that one. And this quote - about his and Robarts' 11-year age difference - isn't much better:

“Sarah is very much on my level. The only thing is I’ve had to raise my game up since The Bachelor. She’s too intelligent for the talk I used on the show.”

Wow. Matt Grant, you are officially our hero.

Jen Schefft: Engaged to Joe Waterman!

It's only appropriate, what with Andrew Firestone announcing earlier this week that he and Ivana Bozilovic are expecting their first child, that his one-time would-be bride from The Bachelor, Jen Schefft, got engaged this week!

The lucky guy is stock trader Joe Waterman!

"I'm so excited and so happy," says Jen Schefft. "We really get each other. I guess it's true things move fast when you meet the right person."

Schefft, who starred both The Bachelor in 2003 and The Bachelorette in 2005, finding love on neither, authored the book Better Single Than Sorry.

Joe Waterman didn't know much about Schefft from TV – but he shies away from certain reminders. "He gives me flowers but never roses," she says.

Jesse Csincsak, DeAnna Pappas to Be Married ... By Andy Baldwin

In a wedding made in reality TV heaven, The Bachelorette star DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak, her snowboarder fiancé, are set to get married next year — and Andy Baldwin will officiate!

“Andy Baldwin is a certified minister,” an insider tells InTouch Weekly, noting that the rose ceremony veterans met on MySpace.

They got to know each other, and eventually grew to be close friends, and Andy was then asked to officiate at the wedding.

“I’m really so happy for DeAnna and Jesse. I am really honored that they’ve asked me and I can’t wait to be a part of their big day,” said Baldwin, who starred on The Bachelor a year before DeAnna appeared on it.

Baldwin chose Tessa Horst and later broke up with her. DeAnna Pappas was negged by moron Brad Womack during that season's finale.

She later went on to star on The Bachelorette, where she chose Jesse Csincsak. Finalist Jason Mesnick will be the next Bachelor star.

Jesse Palmer to Jason Mesnick: Enjoy The Bachelor!

As newly selected star of The Bachelor Jason Mesnick prepares to choose a fiancee among 25 women all vying for his love, former star Jesse Palmer offerd him some words of wisdom to share.

“Just be himself and enjoy the experience,” Palmer told People at the U.S. Open. “The biggest thing is to be open minded and enjoy it as best he can and not put too much pressure on himself.”

Though he may not have found the love of his life with his final rose recipient, Jessica Bowlin in 2004 (and no Bachelor star has, actually, done so before or since) Palmer has no regrets.

“I’m really excited and happy that I did it,” Palmer said. “It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, so looking back I have great memories and met a lot of good people on The Bachelor."

Jason Mesnick Speaks on The Bachelor Opportunity

Jason Mesnick, the new star of The Bachelor, admits he hasn't been on a date since DeAnna Pappas spurned him on The Bachelorette.

"I haven't dated at all since DeAnna," he says. "I wanted to give myself time to heal so that when I got out there again I'd be ready to give whoever I am with the respect and attention she deserves."

But Mesnick, the 32-year-old single dad from Seattle, is looking forward to the opportunity to find love on the 13th season of The Bachelor:

"I am ready. I am ready and open to giving these girls everything I can to find the one that is right for me. All I am missing, really, is someone to share my life with," he said.

"There's no guarantee but 25 girls? It's a real opportunity to find just one."

Jason Mesnick says he was approached to do The Bachelor at the "After the Final Rose Special" by the show's producers.

"All I could think was, 'Oh man, I am so excited' - mostly because really I am just the most regular guy you could ever come across and for this to be happening to me is unbelievable," he said.

"It just leaves me completely speechless."

DeAnna Pappas Happy For Jason Mesnick

The Bachelorette star Deanna Pappas – with her new fiance Jesse Csincsak by her side – proclaimed that her second choice, Jason Mesnick, will make the "perfect catch" when he gets a second shot at reality TV love.

Pappas and Csincsak told the Yo on E! radio show that the new star of The Bachelor would make a wonderful husband.

As for the new crew of ladies who will vie for his attention, DeAnna Pappas stated: "He needs... a woman who is down to earth and doesn't care about all the business going around, because Jason's normal."

Jason Mesnick lost out on DeAnna Pappas on the finale of The Bachelorette. But the tables will soon be turned as he will star on The Bachelor!

Also, since Jason Mesnick has a little boy, three-year-old Ty, Pappas says the new bachelorettes better love kids.

"He's the most important thing in Jason's life," she says.

The 13th season of the The Bachelor begins in January 2009.

Jason Mesnick Announced as the Next Bachelor!

Take that, Michael Phelps.

Proving that when life gives you lemons, one can make reality TV lemonade, rejected Bachelorette finalist Jason Mesnick has signed on to be the new Bachelor when the ABC series returns in January 2009.

The hunky single dad from Seattle had been all primed to propose to DeAnna Pappas, ring and everything, when she stopped him from getting down on one knee, leaving him — and millions of viewers — crushed.

Instead, she opted for 26-year-old snowboarder Jesse Csincsak.

Jason Mesnick: The Bachelor!

Now Jason Mesnick gets another shot at making the perfect match.

The hunt is on for 25 women willing to bare their hearts, souls and claws.

Per ABC, the 32-year-old divorcé is now "looking for a woman who has a real curiosity about the world, who loves life and can find passion in life’s smallest moments." All on a reality TV show, of course.

Others rumored to be in consideration to star on The Bachelor included fellow DeAnna Pappas rejects Graham Bunn and Jeremy Anderson.

Face-Off: Should Michael Phelps Be the Next Bachelor?

Reality TV Scoop dot com is proud to present Face-Off, in which our staff focuses on a different question regarding your favorite reality TV stars - or in this case, would-be stars. Today, two of our editors debate ...

SHOULD MICHAEL PHELPS STAR ON THE BACHELOR?

Scoop Face-Off

YES by Probst Fan

The number of gold medals around the neck of Michael Phelps (eight), isn't nearly as impressive as the number of clearly defined abdominal muscles spouting forth from this Olympian's taut stomach (six, each one rippling like the water Phelps dominated in Beijing).

As a result of Phelps' body - of work and of hotness - the 23-year-old ought to be bombarded by single women when he returns to the States.

How will he be able to separate the loons from the possible loves without the help of a rigorous screening process? Enter The Bachelor.

For Phelps, the decision to star on The Bachelor should be a no-brainer. The man has worked so hard over the years to become an Olympic legend. Isn't it time he sat back and let desperate women be the ones to put in the effort to earn his affections? Let them be the ones to get wet for a change.

For ABC, the debate between Phelps and other contenders, such as Jason Mesnick, is comparable to the competition between Phelps and every other swimmer last week in Beijing.

America needs Michael Phelps as its next Bachelor.

New Bachelor(ette) Couple: Jeremy Anderson and Chelsea Wanstrath!

Here's some amazing Bachelor / Bachelorette gossip. Jeremy Anderson - the handsome Texan rejected by DeAnna Pappas who is being talked about as the next star of The Bachelor - has started dating Chelsea Wanstrath!

Yes, the sweet girl Matt Grant rejected in favor of ditzy now-ex-fiancee Shayne Lamas on the most recent season of The Bachelor!

After weeks of rumors, Jeremy Anderson confirmed to Us Weekly that he is dating Chelsea Wanstrath - or at least getting to know her:

Anderson, JeremyChelsea: The Bachelor

"Chelsea Wanstrath is a beautiful girl and I have gotten a chance to get to know her pretty well. I have tons of fun with her and she lets me be myself. As far as whether or not we are dating... right now we are having fun getting to know one another. We aren't in a rush. So, we will see where it goes, but yes we are definitely spending as much time as we can together. I reached out to her when I got cut to try to make sense of everything and we hit it off straight away (a little Aussie slang). I saw her on the premiere of her season and thought she was hot and had a great personality. When I saw her in person I thought, 'Wow, she was hot on TV but 10 times hotter in person."'

He sounds happy with Chelsea. Take that, Matt Grant.

Wonder if this takes Jeremy out of the running for The Bachelor. With him, Graham Bunn and JT Torregiani all off the market, does this officially open the door for a Jason Mesnick return?

Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado: Last Bachelor Couple

Despite Mary Delgado's November arrest on a domestic battery charge against her fiance Byron Velvick, The Bachelor star from the sixth-season couple is apparently still attempting to make his relationship last.

"They are very much trying to work things out," The Bachelor host Chris Harrison said in a recent interview.

Now that The Bachelor lovebirds Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas have called off their engagement, Delgado and Velvick are the only remaining couple from the long-running ABC reality TV series still together.

Byron Velvick, Mary Delgado

The couple met when the sixth season was filmed in 2005. Velvick proposed to Delgado in the show's finale. While the couple has yet to wed and have no wedding plans at this time, they've remained engaged.

Delgado and Velvick were at a friends' condominium watching The Bachelor's 11th season when the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office claims that the pair disagreed over whether they should leave the home.

While Velvick wanted to leave the condominium, Delgado wanted to stay, and after the pair got into Velvick's truck, things "turned physical."
