The Bachelor Recap: The Women Tell All

All should have been in air quotes.

To be honest, last night's recap episode of The Bachelor was so useless, we can't believe it was two hours long, or even aired at all for that matter.

Milking the show for all it's worth, we suppose.

The vanquished women were in attendance and Jason Mesnick was on the hot seat, though much of the show was painfully boring or commercials.

The most memorable moment came when Jillian Harris called Jason out on saying his first kiss with Melissa Rycroft was unlike any he'd experienced in a long time. He had just kissed Jillian one day before, of course. Snap!

That was really the only highlight, but if you want the full rundown, you can read about everything you missed in this Bachelor episode guide.

Mesnick, Jason

The Bachelor Spoilers: Season Finale Unveiled!

Remember the video that claims Melissa Rycroft wins The Bachelor? Well, she's in the final two after all of this - and it looks like she will be the one proposed to by Jason Mesnick when The Bachelor season ends March 2.

However ...

If recent reports are to be believed, what happens on not one, but two intimate "After the Final Rose" specials may shock, appall and perplex you.

It would truly be unprecedented, as Bachelor host Chris Harrison likes to say, and perhaps even mark a low (high?) point in reality TV history.

We have it on good authority that ABC's much-hyped "shocking" ending lives up to expectations, and you definitely didn't see some of the details coming.

J. Mesnick

What does Jason Mesnick have up his sleeve?

Jillian Harris Comments on Jason, The Bachelor Elimination

Following three spectacular New Zealand dates on last night's episode of The Bachelor, Jason Mesnick had to narrow the field of three women to two.

In the end, Mesnick elected to eliminate Jillian Harris, a 29-year-old interior designer from Canada. Here's what she had to say to ET about it ...

ET: What was your favorite part of this experience?

Jillian Harris: Before I did the show, I was a little bit worried if I would find my Prince Charming. Being there and feeling those sparks again made me realize that I can have that feeling again. I loved the adventure of it. I loved not being in control for once. I loved traveling. The girls were awesome. Obviously, [Jason Mesnick] treated me like gold. I loved that I was brave enough to take a leap of faith. What do they say? You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take.

ET: It has to be hard to get to the final three and not win Jason's heart. If asked, would you consider being the next The Bachelorette?

Jillian Harris: Part of me says, "Jill, stop while you are ahead. Now that you have done this and learned a lot about yourself, do it the old-fashioned way."

The old-fashioned way hasn't been working, so the other part of me says, "Jill, just go ahead and do it. You are an adventure seeker. Give it a shot and maybefind him that way." I think I have to sleep on it - and maybe have a glass of wine.

ET: You mentioned that you felt you were too slow in letting Jason know how you felt about him. Is that what you would do over? Do you think it would really make a difference, or do people make a true connection, so it wouldn't change things?

Jillian Harris: Good question. Watching the show now, I think, "Jill, you should have opened up more. Why weren't you more flirty like Melissa?" But a) I am not really like that to begin with, and b) it may have been the connection. Make a decision - whether it was the right or wrong one - and I for sure think I will stay in touch with him. Whoever he chooses, hopefully we will have barbecues and hang out.

DeAnna Pappas Speaks on The Bachelor

With her "shocking" return to The Bachelor just two weeks away, DeAnna Pappas spoke about why she rejected Jason Mesnick in favor of Jesse Csincsak on The Bachelorette last summer - then later dumped Csincsak.

"I believe we all make mistakes in our lives and learn from them ... it came down to two different people. Jason, who has it all together has everything a woman would want. And then there's Jesse, who kind of was a wild card," DeAnna told Extra.

"I felt like the wild card was going to work out. Someone to keep me on my toes. Eventually, it wasn't what I was attracted to anymore," she added.

Both Jason Mesnick and Jesse Csincsak attempted to propose to DeAnna Pappas during July's broadcast of The Bachelorette's fourth-season finale.

DeAnna Pappas rejected Mesnick before he could, then presented Jesse Csincsak (above) with the final rose. After months of wavering over a wedding location, Pappas announced in November she had broken up with Csincsak.

As for her reunion in New Zealand with Mesnick on The Bachelor, Pappas called it positive experience - for her and hopefully Bachelor viewers as well.

"I believe that it's going to resolve some issues for myself and possibly some viewers," she said.

Did Jason Mesnick send home Jillian, Melissa or Molly last night?

Naomi Crespo Speaks on The Bachelor Elimination

Following a hometown visit that was awkward at best and a Bachelor death sentence at worst, Naomi Crespo, 24, was eliminated from the reality show.

Now she's speaking out on Jason Mesnick and her experience.

Naomi's first point? She was very much ready to move in with Jason and settle down, despite a reputation to the contrary.

"I would've moved to Seattle in a heartbeat. It sucked that the reasons that I gave him that I don't wanna go home are the reasons I'm going home," Naomi said.

"I put myself out there, and I'm glad I did, but go figure, I finally admit that I'm falling in love and next thing I know I'm going home."

"I want to have a family I want my kids to have one place to call home. I really did think that it might be here I never wanted to have my heart broken again."

Naomi Crespo: The Bachelor

The young, fun-loving flight attendant from California had even more to say about her elimination from The Bachelor as she copes with the fallout.

"I think Jason letting me go was a blessing in disguise," she said. "I am so happy now. I don't regret the experience. I am thankful I met him. He and I were not meant to be so I am at peace with it."

As for her family, which was criticized by many Bachelor fans:

"My mom is out there. She is quirky like that," Naomi says.

"Sometimes I think she fell off her rocker and her head never recovered. I knew my mom had something up her sleeve. That was so beyond all of us."

The Bachelor Episode Recap: Live

Whose family was great, and which group of people was Jason Mesnick probably very psyched to never have to see again?

Who did not even get to show The Bachelor star her parents because they did not approve of the whole reality TV thing?

Will DeAnna Pappas really, as advertised, return to the show next week and shake things up? That would be quite the twist.

Stephanie Hogan Discusses Time on The Bachelor

For a time, it looked as though Stephanie Hogan was destined to take Jason Mesnick on a "hometown date" as one of the final four women on The Bachelor.

But the 34-year-old single mom from Huntsville, Ala., was sent home Monday, to the surprise and dismay of some viewers. In an exit interview, Stephanie talked about her connection - or lack thereof - with Jason Mesnick.

Throughout her time on The Bachelor, and especially after a date in which her daughter Sophia made a surprise visit, Stephanie Hogan spoke of the special connection she and Jason Mesnick developing.

However, after this past episode's Rose Ceremony, Stephanie conceded that she never saw that spark in his eyes whenever he looked at her. Still, she said she thinks - and hopes - that they will remain friends.

“I think we will [stay friends] after this. No doubt. I just had such a bond with Jason. I think our friendship will remain strong,” Stephanie said.

One of several single moms who left a child at home to be on the show, she said Sophia took her absence and her own appearance on national TV in stride.

“You know what, she had no idea. She thinks it's just a video. She didn't know she was on TV,” Stephanie said of her Sophia's feelings on the experience.

Stephanie said that after this season of The Bachelor is over and if she is still single, she would definitely consider becoming The Bachelorette if ABC asked.

Will she be the next DeAnna Pappas? Stay tuned!

Grin and Bair It: Shannon's Painful Bachelor Goodbye

Exiled contestant Shannon Bair left heartbroken on The Bachelor, but she's still got a smile on her face - and not just because she's a dental hygienist.

Shannon, who was eliminated along with Megan Parris and that Lauren girl from N.J., says that despite the painful goodbye, she wasn't obsessed with Jason Mesnick as it came across, and called her departure a "happy ending."

Shannon spoke with Reality TV World about her experience ...

Q: What did you think when [Jason Mesnick] decided not to hand out the final rose? Did you appreciate him not wanting to lead anyone on, or do you think that he should've given someone another week?

Shannon Bair: I actually appreciated that Jason was being honest because I was being very honest with him and if there wasn't a love connection it's better to find out sooner than later. I was there for love and I know that he was as well, so I think that him being honest and not leading anybody on was a good thing.

Q: During your last one-on-one moment before the Rose Ceremony, you told him you had "so much to offer" and asked him not to eliminate you. Is it safe to say that by that point you knew you were in danger?

Shannon Bair: Um, yeah I would probably say that's safe to say. It was really hard because the time with him that I had was very limited and we didn't have a lot of one-on-one time. So to get my feelings out in the small amount of time that I had with him was difficult for me, and it was a hard situation to try and tell him everything I wanted to tell him in such a short amount of time and that's kinda how it came out.
