So, we finally made it to this All-Star season's finale? Will we see the first-ever all-female team pull it out? Let's review the action, couple by couple ...
Charla & Mirna, #3: It was great to see Charla excel at a challenge, wasn't it? She's usually at a pretty serious disadvantage bcause of her height, but the girl has an incredible sense of balance and was able to stand up on a surf board and paddle to the clue during the Detour. Unfortunately, the kayaking challenge was so hard that it put them behind all the other teams.
Eric & Danielle, WINNERS: These two totally rocked the kayaking challenge to get their clue at Shipwreck Beach on Lanai. We were surprised to see them work so well as a team. And they were actually on the same page during the challenge at the U.S. Mint. Fnally on their game during the few hours that they needed to be.
Dustin & Kandice, #2: These two finally had their first tiff and it really wasn't that big of a deal. Dustin was in a panic to win the $1 million and she wasn't thinking clearly when she jumped out of the kayak and tried to walk through the water rather than paddle.
Because the teams had already raced before - so they knew all the little tricks and how to play - this All-Star version lacked drama overall. Plus, the challenges were often lame throughout the season. Hopefully, next season will bring fresh faces and a little more creativity in the locations and the challenges.
