Reality TV Recaps: Celebrity Apprentice, Survivor, Make Me a Supermodel

Traditionally, Thursday nights are big for reality TV fans. This year is no different. Take a look below to see a trio of series recapped...

Survivor: Micronesia: The episode starts with Mikey and company arriving at camp after the Mary boot, wondering who the hell it was they just voted out. Mikey tells us that Joel is playing "a long game" when he should be playing "a short game", because it's dumb not to keep your team strong until the merge. And Mary added, what, exactly? - TVgasm

The Celebrity Apprentice: Tonight's task was to create a four page photo layout advertising a new type of Dial body wash for Redbook. Omarosa jumped all over being project manager… at first. As soon as Trump stated that PMs have a greater likelihood of being fired, Omarosa not so graciously backed out, thrusting Tito Ortiz into the role. -- Zap2It

Make Me a Supermodel: It's snowy in New York City. The models wake up to a winter wonderland outside. Ronnie Kroell offers Ben a kiss to ease his nerves before elimination. We don't get to hear what the answer is, though. Perry wakes up with a prayer to the gods of modeling. -- Buddy TV

Jeff Probst Previews Survivor: Micronesia

080128int1survivor.jpg Jeff Probst recently chatted with TV Guide about the upcoming season of Survivor, which pits fans versus all-time show favorites.

Regarding: Chet Welch
Chet Welch is a 48-year-old Miss America beauty pageant coach. "One of our casting directors was like, 'He sabotaged me as a kid!'" Probst said. "Chet goes, 'Yep, that was me, and yep, I did it.'"

But does either Welch or another evil genius, Jonny Fairplay, have a real shot at the grand prize?

"Chet's gonna last a few episodes at best," Probst said. "And Fairplay has no chance of winning."

On: Michael Bortone
This Los Angeles-based writer/actor is a longtime fan of the series. "Mikey B" was originally passed over by CBS, but Probst went to bat for him and ultimately changed the suits' minds.

"I saw a live wire," Probst said. "He's interesting when he talks. I'm glad he's here."

Survivor 16: Fans vs. Favorites

survivor-pic.jpg As Jeff Probst noted this week about the next edition of Survivor:

"For fifteen seasons, Survivor has taken millions of viewers to remote locations all over the world.  Many fans have watched from day one and have always wanted to play.  Now, a select few will get their chance at the adventure of a lifetime."

Probst went on to reveal that these super fans would be playing against favorite Survivor castaways from the past.  ProbsHe also revealed the official title for Survivor 16 as Survivor Micronesia: Fans Vs. Favorites.

While Probst did not tell who exactly would be among the favorites, he did say at least one of the sixteen members of the Survivor China cast would be returning next season.
