After getting voted off Survivor last week, Jason Siska discussed his strategy and his unfortunate exit with People Magazine. Here's an excerpt from the interview:
How does it feel knowing that the nation watched you become the second guy in a row duped by the tribe's female alliance?
I'm still recovering from seeing the episode. It was a lot more painful watching it happen on TV than it was when it really happened. The reality is that I was voted out months ago and I had gotten over it. You know, you live, you learn. But so many emotions got stirred up. I'm out visiting my brother in West Hollywood and the pain of letting him down, disappointing myself all over again, and hearing people say how obvious it seemed that I was being played from the safety of their couch. It was a tough night.
Due tot he return of Lost and Grey's Anatomy last night, we understand why many viewers missed out on a couple of reality shows that aired. But that's why we're here!

Jeff Probst has good news for Survivor fans:

Jonathan Penner is forced to leave the game â" and he's not alone!
A nasty gash on his right leg that Jonathan sustained during a chalÂlenge in the March 6 episode grows increasingly infected, ultimately forcÂing the prickly player out of the game on March 13. Says Probst:
"There was a certain point when our doctor said, 'You're done. If the infection's not treated, it will spread to your lymph nodes and kill you.'" (Jonathan was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatÂment and has since fully recovered.)
Perhaps the bigger shock is that he won't be the only player to leave this season without having his torch snuffed. While Probst won't specify whether the second exit is the result of an injury, he will reveal that it happens in this week's episode, airing Wednesday, March 19 (due to the NCAA tournament).
"It's a testament," the host says, "to the wear and tear, not only physically but emoÂtionally, that this game can take."
Unfortunately for the remaining players, the two premature exits don't preclude trips to tribal council â" meaning viewers will see a total of four Survivors leave within two episodes. "Thank god," Probst says with a laugh, "we started with 20 people."
