Before Chef Ramsay assigned the first task, Aaron got emotional and had to take a moment. For the first task, Chef Ramsay gave the teams thirty minutes to prep as many fish as possible. The blue (men’s) team successfully prepared eight fish, but the red (women’s) team successfully prepared nine fish and won the challenge. For their reward, the red team was taken out for a fishing excursion and lunch. For their punishment, the blue team had to prep all the fish for the next dinner service.
At the dinner service, Chef Ramsay selected Aaron to serve the tables as additional punishment for the blue team. Aaron got nervous and had to sit down. On the blue team, Eddie struggled to fix spaghetti, and Vinnie burned the fish. On the red team, Joanna forgot to prepare the lettuce. Chef Ramsay became upset with Josh preparing dry chicken and sent the blue team away and let the red team finish the dinner service.
Chef Ramsay declared the red team the clear winners, and he selected Rock as the least bad of the blue team and asked him to nominate two members of his team for elimination. Rock nominated Eddie because he didn’t know if he could come out of his shell and Josh because he was all over the place. Chef Ramsay picked Eddie to leave Hell’s Kitchen. Eddie said “My biggest regret in Hell’s Kitchen is just not being loud. I should have just went in full blast and just tore the place apart. Getting kicked off sucks, but you know, I did it to myself.”
