Julianne Hough Really is Done with Dancing with the Stars

It's okay to cry, guys.

Julianne Hough says she really isn't returning to Dancing with the Stars next season.

The breathtaking professional made a similar threat in November, but changed her mind when the show paired her with real-life boyfriend Chuck Wicks.

Viennese Waltzing

"I wasn't planning to come back this season because I wanted to focus on my music," Hough said at Sunday night's Academy of Country Music Awards, during which she won Top New Artist. "But I went back and it’s been so much fun to dance with my good friend who happens to be my boyfriend."

Pressed about her future, though, Hough simply said: "I will be taking next season off."

So will millions of male viewers, Julianne.

Dancing With the Stars Recap: Gilles and Cheryl Almost Perfect... Again

Following the season's first perfect score, Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke came close to duplicating the feat last night.

Will Jessica Simpson Go Dancing With the Stars?

Following an enjoyable stint on CBS' hidden-camera show I Get That A Lot, Jessica Simpson is reportedly mulling a return to reality TV.

No, the singer isn't planning on having cameras follow her and boyfriend Tony Romo around.

But a source told MSNBC that Simpson hasn't ruled out an appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

“Jessica’s fame skyrocketed when she was on Newlyweds, and no other project has been the same runaway hit,” said a friend. “She wants to be involved with something she’s really good at, and people love Jess when she’s just being herself. She never would have considered Dancing With the Stars before, but she’s not ruling it out now.”

Jessica Simpson on DWTS? It can't go any worse than her recent album sales.

Holly Madison, Steve Wozniak Eliminated from Dancing With the Stars

Dancing With the Stars bid farewell to a pair of contestants last night - and neither was a major surprise.

Holly Madison, who was a late replacement for Jewel and suffered through a couple injuries of her own, was eliminated along with partner Dmitry Chaplin.

"It was a lot physically harder than I thought it was going to be, but it was so much fun and I'm so glad l got a chance to do it," Madison said. " And I still love the costumes - that's still my favorite part."

So Long, Holly

In even less of a shocker, Steve Woziak - following weeks where he scored 10 and 12 points, respectively - was also sent packing.

"This is a great show, a great process, a great system," said the Mac founder, who said performing on it made him feel "like the luckiest person in the world."

Gilles Marini Interview: The Perfect Score!

Is it hot in here, or is it the video below of Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke dancing the Tango on last night's Dancing with the Stars?

The tandem scored a perfect 30 for the routine, a mark that took the French actor by surprise. He was asked about it by E! News:

You did amazing last night. You got three 10s!
We try our best. I was very insecure last night before we start dancing because I saw the dress rehearsals. Everyone was brilliant and I was like, "I'm done today."

How does it feel to hear Carrie Anne Inaba say she couldn't tell who was the celebrity and who was the professional dancer during your Argentine Tango?
You know, it doesn't make me do anything. When she says that it means Cheryl is an accomplished teacher. Every week I'm starting from zero. We have the paso doble next, and I don't know what a paso doble is yet. I never seen a paso doble my entire life. I didn't even know how to spell it.

Dancing With the Stars Recap: A Perfect 30!

The season's first series of 10s were handed out this week, as Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani set the high of the season with a score of 29... only to see it wiped out a few moments later by another pairing.

Indeed, the favorites were all on fire last night; while Steve Wozniak, to put it bluntly, was not.

How low did his score go? And who earned the aforementioned perfect mark of 30? We have the answers in this week's Dancing with the Stars recap!

Poor Wozniak

Steve Wozniak makes us laugh... and cringe.

Chelsie Hightower: Adjusting to Life on Dancing with the Stars

So far, so good for Chelsie Hightower on Dancing with the Stars.

She and partner TY Murray aren't atop the show's leaderboard, but the tandem has managed to survive and advance every week so far.

Asked about her first season on the ABC competition, the former So You Think You Can Dance contestant told TV Guide:

The scheduling is really overwhelming. We were just talking about this. You know, we wake up, do press, do practice, do more press. I feel like I don't stop for my friends. I don't talk to my mom even! But it's cool because you know it's going to pay off. It's not something where you wake up and go, "Oh crap! I've got to practice again." It feels good to work.

Denise Richards Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

Denise Richards can't find reality TV success anywhere; not in her own home, and not in front of millions on the dance floor.

The actress and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were eliminated last night on Dancing with the Stars. Stuck in the bottom two, the tandem performed a samba dance-off against fellow competitors Holly Madison and Dmitry Chaplin.

Denise and Maks

“I had fun! When else am I going to get to dress up like this, work with someone like Maks and be able to do a family show that my daughters can watch together,” Richards said minutes after the live results show ended.

As for Chmerkovskiy? He did his best to hide his bitterness.

“It’s fine. It’s all a show... I wish we could stay as long as we could because I could see very big improvements with her week in, week out.”
