Episode Guide

First, let's meet the men who aspire to be Brody Jenner's BFF ...

  • Alex – Maine – This is our hometown boy (see related story). He goes to a school at the University of New Hampshire, is an “accomplished rock musician” (whatever that means) and hates wearing clothes.
  • Chris F. – Orlando – Chris is a videographer who recently went through a horrible break up. He hopes to be a stand-up comic someday.
  • Chris P. – Kentucky – Chris P. is an athlete and an involved student. He is president of his fraternity, and his favorite show is The Hills. He claims he knows more about Brody than anyone else.
  • Femi – Florida – Femi is a nursing student who is very competitive. He calls himself a style king, and he works nights as a bartender to pay his tuition.
  • Gary – Gary recently graduated with a degree in jazz dance, and he currently teaches dance to kids. He says he is an individual.
  • Jacob – California – Jacob sells women’s shoes for a living, which seems to be a great place for him since he is interested in older Latino women. He plays basketball, and he says he will do anything to be Brody’s main man.
  • Jered – Florida – Jered is the all-American boy. He has great looks, supposedly a great personality, is a lifeguard and is getting a degree in criminal justice. Jered says he has a 90 percent success rate with the ladies.
  • Luke – Medford, Mass. – Luke is a Boston boy no doubt. He loves to party, to drink and to live life. He graduated with a history degree and teaches at an elementary school. I wonder if his kids know about his championship in chocolate-syrup wrestling?
  • Michael – Michael claims he is a socialite and that he only wears designer labels. He should fit in perfect with Brody and his gang then. He is very open and opinionated, and he isn’t afraid to speak up about how he thinks Brody and Lauren Conrad need to get back together.

It’s early, early in the a.m. when Brody sends his gang of security, also known as “The Bruisers,” to wake up the boys. They do it frat style

They are taken to the Bro-Mansion. When the boys take the bags off their heads, Brody and his boys, Frankie and Sleazy-T, are sitting in front of them. He explains to them that he is looking for a true friend.

It is important to Brody that his friends can bring hot chicks to a party. With that said, the boys’ challenge is to find two girls to bring to the Frederick’s of Hollywood party later that night.

The boys have decided that it is quality over quantity. Brody Jenner warns that this challenge will be hard because the girls in L.A. aren’t so easy to grab, and the boys are finding that out very quickly.

One actually told Femi to drop dead. A lot of the boys tried to use Brody’s name to get the girls to come, but Chris refuses. Instead, he takes his shirt off to show them what he will be wearing to the party.

Chris F. and Jacob also have a way to get the women there. Chris F. is going to Hooters to show off his charm, and Jacob is lying through his teeth about his affiliation with the party.

Brody meets up with Frankie and Sleazy-T to discuss the rules of the game and to tell them to be nice, which Frankie hates.

Apparently, if they don’t have two girls with them at the door at 9 p.m., they can’t go in. Worse, they have to clean up the club after the party.

When the boys arrive at the club at 8:30 p.m., the boys are worried that their girls will not show up. All of the girls are missing except Gary’s girls.

Jered is convinced that his girls will be the hottest.

Michael seems to get on Brody’s good side when he brings twins to the party. He even butters him up a little more by giving him a card.

Brody isn’t so thrilled with that, but admits it was a nice thought.

It’s 15 minutes before nine and only the underdogs are inside with girls. Where are the rest of the girls? Finally, Luke’s two girls show up.

Jacob can’t stand to lose so he heads to the street to pick up some new girls, but even those girls don’t show up!

Eventually, Jered and Jacob make it in to the club, but there are still two boys outside. Femi and Chris P. are told that they can go in, but that they will be cleaning up later.

During the party, each of the guys is asked to make a toast to Brody. Luke thanks the bar staff, which was nice.

Gary talks about how important friendship is, which Brody loves, and Alex proposes a “broast,” which Brody really loves! Femi did some breakdancing.

Chris F. talked about how he doesn’t care that Brody is on television and Jered said basically nothing. Boo.

Michael talked about how important it is to have a gay best friend and Chris P. rapped and showed off his “Bromance... Because Spencer Pratt was a Douchebag.” Fantastic shirt, and it earned him some points.

In the end, Luke won the challenge.

In the morning Brody brings the boys some Bloody Marys, and they discuss their exes. It’s touching.

Michael takes this time to pull Brody aside to chat.

Michael tells him that he appreciates being there, but this isn’t what he thought it would be. “I thought this was gonna be like an episode of The Hills, but it wasn’t,” he says.

Brody thinks that he just wanted to be friends with someone on TV, but at the same time he understood why Michael might not fit in Brody’s world.

Later that night Brody invites his new friends over to his penthouse for some announcements. The first announcement is big - if Brody picks you as his friend, you get to keep the penthouse with everything in it.

The second announcement is that it is time to eliminate the first person. The elimination takes place in Brody’s jacuzzi. It's a tad awkward.

Luke and Alex are the first to hear “you’re awesome” from Brody.

Brody told Gary he was surprised by his performance, and Jered got the go ahead to stay even though his toast sucked.

Those four were then told they were safe and were asked to the leave the tub. Everyone but Jacob, Femi and Chris P. were safe.

Brody told Femi that he talks big but obviously he has nothing, and Femi admitted that maybe he needed to be knocked down a little.

Brody told Jacob that he was not thrilled with his toast, and he asked him who he would send home. Jacob said Chris P., and Brody poked at Chris P. about his lack of leadership.

In the end, Femi and Chris P. stayed, and Jacob, a “liability,” got the boot. Jacob thought that was ridiculous, but he is gone. Good riddance!
