While cast members on Big Brother spend most of their time annoying viewers, one idiot in particular has irked more people than usual by referring to people with autism as "retards."

Celebrity gossipsite TMZ has obtained a letter from John Gilmore, Executive Director of Autism United, to Viacom bigwig Sumner Redstone and CBS, demanding that they take action after a segment aired on Wednesday's show featuring Adam Jasinski making the stupid remark.

According to the letter, Gilmore claims CBS made a "conscious choice" in running the quote - and used it for "their own personal goals." It would be hard to argue with that.

The organization calls for "[Big Brother 9] to be canceled, and expects an apology to people with autism. Gilmore also tells TMZ they've contacted the show's advertisers.

The two main reality shows that aired last night were based around sex: which skanky single would have it with Bret Michaels on Rock of Love; and which teammates would hook up on Big Brother. Let's find out!

With Big Brother 9 set to begin on February 12, we've uncovered a few clues and spoilers for the latest installment of this reality TV franchise. Take a look:

- The season will run for approximately three months. Because Big Brother 10 is on the slate for an early July start, there will be about a month to recover between seasons.

- As in the past, the show will air three nights a week. However, those nights have been juggled a bit for this season. Big Brother will air on Tuesdays at 9 PM ET/PT, Wednesdays at 8 PM ET/PT, and Sundays at 8 PM ET/PT.

- Due to its succes last season, the After Dark nightly feeds will be on ShoToo again this season. They'll run every night from midnight to 3 AM Eastern Time. ShoToo is Showtime's sister station.

- The theme, as anyone watching any CBS show can tell you from the promo spots, is along the lines of "dirty little secrets." There have been hints of lying and not playing fair in the spots, but there's no solid information on it right now. And is this really any different than past seasons?

The uncertainty of the current writers' strike is making it impossible for CBS to announce a premiere date for the next installment of Big Brother.

Rest assured, however, there will be one.

Along with the confirmation of the new season, the network also said that Julie Chen, an Early Show co-anchor and wife of CBS President and CEO Les Moonves, is set to assume her duties as the show's host, while Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan will again serve as executive producers.

"We really want it to stand out," Grodner said of the new season in an interview with the New York Daily News. "We want it to be special, because we've never done something like this before. I promise you it will be different from any other Big Brother you've ever seen."

This time around, "America's Player" has been scrapped from the game.

"That's really hard to do twice," Grodner said. "Anyone coming to be a part of Big Brother this year would know about it and we'd hate to have people act differently because they think that the viewers are in control... That doesn't mean that it couldn't return in some other way, but doing exactly what we did again, no."

Dick Donato, a 44-year-old bar manager from Los Angeles, won Big Brother's eighth-season winner during last night's live finale broadcast of the CBS reality show.

Dick defeated Danielle Donato, his formerly estranged 21-year-old daughter, by a 5 to 2 jury vote to win Big Brother 8's $500,000 grand prize.

"I'm taking a trip man!" said Dick when Big Brother host Julie Chen revealed the jury's vote. "I'm getting the hell out of here away from some of these people. I'm going to relax, I'm doing an around-the-world thing... for sure."
