Dancing With the Stars Pairings: The Fist Official Photos

It's easily the most random Dancing with the Stars cast in history.

Ashley Hamilton? Louie Vito? Their partners are more famous than these Z-listers are.

This should at least lead to a wide open field this season, as new episodes of the ABC competition kick off on September 21. We'll certainly be tuning in.

The 16 contestants posed with their partners for the first official Dancing with the Stars promo pics this week. Click on each image below to get a larger view of each couple...

Chuck Liddell Scoffs at Dancing With the Stars Criticism

Ultimate Fighting Champion veteran Chuck Liddell is a contestant on season nine of Dancing With the Stars.

Does anyone have a problem with that?!?

Actually, some people do, as many of Liddell's in-ring competitors have busted his chops for appearing on the show. In an interview with TV Guide, the tough guy responds to such talk...

On criticism: I don't care. They bust my chops for everything! All my friends think it's funny. But they better freakin' watch! [The show pursued me] in the past, but I would've had to take time off from fighting and I didn't want to do that. Now I'm still debating whether to retire or not and I'm taking time off, so I have time to do it before I start training for a fight again.

On fighting footwork translating to dance floor: If I can get my feet to do what they want them to do, then yeah! I have quick feet, but it's just about doing everything at the right time. That's the hard thing for me — to do everything at the right time and at the same time. I have to get my feet going and I'm bending my shoulders, bending my elbow, have my head up. It's all the little things. It's harder than it looks.

Anna [Trebunskaya, Liddell's partner] is great. It's tough. It's all different to me. With each day, it seems like I'm getting better, so we're just slowly working toward getting better.

Audrina Patridge to Head For The Hills

Or away from the The Hills, if you will.

Like Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge has apparently had enough of the reality show that made her a star and is leaving to pursue ... anything but.

"I'm almost done with The Hills, she said. We are currently finishing the episodes for this fall, and I'll be leaving then. It feels like I'm graduating. I'm taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life."

Heading For The Hills

Patridge who is developing her own reality show with Survivor producer Mark Burnett - said she would like to pursue acting as well as reality TV projects.

"I moved to L.A. to be an actress, and before The Hills, I was going to auditions and working at [film studios] Quixote and Smashbox," the hottie said.

She credits The Hills with helping her be "comfortable in front of the cameras" and "getting into character." Yes, getting into character. On "reality" TV.

Kim Kardashian to Produce Random Reality Show

Can a former sex tape star serve as successful reality TV producer?

We're about to discover the answer to that question, as Kim Kardashian has signed on to produce a new series about PR gurus and friends Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck.

The pair put out celebrity fires as public relation masters for Command Public Relations. The show will features "all the ins-and-outs or PR," Kim said last week, adding:

"It's going to be really fun. It'll show how there's lots of drama and crisis in the PR world."

Sexy in a Suit

Kardashian said "every week we'll have a different celebrity and a different crisis and drama," each one undoubtedly manufactured by the PR firm itself.

"The great thing about Jonathan and Simon is that they focus on corporate PR and building brands; they don't represent any individuals, so they see the bigger picture. They see how to make a celebrity into a brand. I've seen so many things go so close to going wrong, and then they fix everything," Kim said.

Adam Lambert: New Album is "Just Going to Be Fun"

Earlier today, Kris Allen announced that his debut CD will be released on November 17.

While friend and rival Adam Lambert is yet to reveal when his album will hit stores, he did talk about it with People this week.

Describing the CD as "quite eclectic," Lambert said:

“There are songs on there that are anthems; there are song that make you want to dance; there are songs that make you feel sexy; there are songs that touch you, hopefully, with more emotional, insightful, deeper lyrics. There are songs that are more in the line with a rock sound. There are some that are really pop-oriented.”

A. Lamb

Overall, the singer - who has been touring all summer with fellow American Idol finalists - said there’s something for everyone on the disc.

“I’m really proud of [it]," he said. “I can’t wait to see people’s reaction. It’s just going to be fun.”

Leave it to Lamas: Coming in October

Who wouldn't wanna follow around the life of a woman that was once engaged to Bachelor Matt Grant?!?

That's what E! is thinking, as it's officially announced the premiere date for Leave it to Lamas, a series that will focus on Shayne Lamas.

The program will kick off on Sunday, October 11, immediately after The Girls Next Door, which will feature Hugh Hefner's new girlfriends, Crystal Harris and the Shannon Twins.

Also featured on this family series, which E! clearly hopes will repeat the success of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, will be:

  • Shayne's father Lorenzo Lamas, a former TV star that served as a judge on ABC's short-lived 2003 Are You Hot?;
  • Shayne's brother A.J., who dated Lindsay Lohan;
  • Shayne's sister Dakota.

Survivor Samoa: Meet the Cast

Survivor is going to Samoa.

The show's 19th season will emanate from this unique locale, as CBS says it will embrace the local culture and traditions.

"From the start of the game, Survivor embraces this Samoan culture by incorporating an ancient tradition of electing an individual leader of the village," the network announced this week. "Without speaking, both tribes must immediately choose one member of their group to become their sole decision maker, their chief.  How important will the role of tribal chief be in determining the fate of each tribe?"

Lisa Wu-Hartwell Wants Her Children Back

Following her messy divorce with singer Keith Sweat in 2003, Lisa Wu-Hartwell lost custody of her children, Jordan and Justin.

Now, in an interview with Star Magazine, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star opens up about her attempt to regain full custody and exploit her children on the Bravo reality series.

“I've already been seeing them four or five times a week, but now the time has come when I want to have them with me full-time,” Lisa told Star. “I immediately filed for an appeal after the verdict, but I was never given a court date in five years. I've been afraid of the judicial system, but I'm finally taking the bull by the horns and trying to get my boys back again!”

Wu-Hartwell has a hearing scheduled in October. She can't fathom why her ex-husband wouldn't sign a waiver that allows her kids to appear on the show.

“If Keith has a hang-up about our sons being on TV, I would be fine with that. But Real Housewives is supposed to be a reality series, and the reality is that all the fans watching believe I only have one child,” said Lisa, referring to EJ, her son with new husband Ed Hartwell.

“Jordan and Justin understand what the show involves, and they'd love to do it. I adore all three of my sons — and I believe they all have a rightful place on the show.”

Man, this woman sucks.

Melissa Rycroft is Rooting for Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski

It's been pretty much confirmed that Ed Swiderski slept with Lindsey Johnson - and tried to bed Bethany Steffen - just a few days after he proposed to Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette.

But Harris (either loyal or blissfully ignorant) is sticking by her man.

So is Melissa Rycroft, Jillian's Bachelor competitor and friend. When asked about her pal and her shady fiance, Rycroft told Us Weekly:

"She is doing really well. Her and Ed are happy, and I know she is going to become a U.S. citizen. She's moving to Chicago [where Swiderski lives]."

So, does this mean Melissa thinks Jillian and Ed are bound for the altar?

"I absolutely do," she said. "I know they love each other, and I know they are planning a wedding, and I know she wants to marry him. I hope it works out for them."
