Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita are Real Housewives from New Jersey.
They'll soon be try their hand at real acting, as well.
Sources have confirmed that these reality stars will portray themselves in an upcoming episode of the NBC drama Mercy.
According to Entertainment Weekly, this will be the set up:
Giudice and Laurita come up against Michelle Trachtenberg’s character of Chloe in a New Jersey bar.
“It’s not a warm and fuzzy encounter by any means,” said an insider on set.
She got really fat, lost some weight and then put some back on again.
For those reasons alone, Kirstie Alley will star in a new reality show on A&E. The series will chronicle the actress' continual weight struggle, while also focusing on how she raises two teenagers alone.
With 10 episodes confirmed, the untitled reality show will air in 2010, Variety reports.
"Kirstie is exactly the kind of star A&E is drawn to," said an A&E executive. "Her personal life has been playing out in the media for years, but this will be the first time she'll be opening up her home to reveal her real life for the cameras."
Alley is a former Jenny Craig spokesperson.
According to the Variety article, she'll be "producing a feature film, patenting multiple inventions, working hard to raise two normal Hollywood teenagers, taking care of eight ringtail lemurs and, on top of everything, looking for love" on the series.
Sounds enthralling to us!
The worst season of Dancing with the Stars is down to five contestants.
Finally, following weeks of poor performances, Michael Irvin and Mark Dacascos were given the boot last night. The former was gracious upon learning of his fate, saying:
"Thank you. Last night was a great night, and to see the audience here standing up as a way of saying they appreciate the hard work, it means a great deal to a lot of people right now, with the economy going the way it has."
We're not sure how that plays a role, but have a safe trip home, Michael!
Dacascos chimed in with appreciation for professional dancers:
"[This is] certainly much harder than it looks on television. It's a lot easier to watch it than do it."
As this season drags to a conclusion, Kelly, Donny, Aaron, Mya and Joanna will each perform a pair of routines next week.
Joanna Krupa is hot and we're excited to see her pose in Playboy next month.
That's about the only positive piece of news we can conjure up from last night's Dancing with the Stars performance show, as well as from season nine in general.
It's baffling why the competition chose to include more celebrities than ever for this edition, considering the Z-listers it had to reach for. Seriously, is anyone out there psyched over Mark Dacascos this season? Were you at any point?
This week's installment featured an array of solo dances and two group routines. None stood out, though Derek Hough and Krupa (pictured) earned the highest combined score.
Let's take a look at last night's leaderboard:
NeNe Leakes is getting herself into shape.
Not mentally, come on. The Real Housewife of Atlanta is still a bit unstable.
But she's featured in a new OK! Weekly article, explaining her new diet and work-out regimen.
“My trainer [Tammy Stokes,] has taught me to eat breakfast. She said, ‘NeNe, you have to bite something in the morning to get your metabolism going.’ So I’ve learned to do that, and it works.
“Then I eat my lunch: lots of salads with chicken,” she added. “I love to go out to eat for dinner, [but] I never order an entrée. The portion sizes today are very large. So I’ll order an appetizer.”
Words to live by. NeNe almost looks... normal.
Anxious for some nutty news regarding the cycle 13 finale of America's Next Top Model?
E! News reports that Eddie Murphy will make an appearance on the November 18 installment. Fortunately, the actor won't pretend like he knows fashion and serve as a guest judge, though.

A CW rep confirms that Murphy will be chilling with Tyra Banks and company in the crowd for the final runway showdown, which will featire a Julie Clancey fashion show.
The comedian he will be on hand to cheer on his daughter, Bria Murphy, who will appear with the America's Next Top Model finalists on the competition.
Jason Mesnick couldn't bear the thought of guys fighting over Molly Malaney on The Bachelorette. Fortunately, he never had to shoulder that burden.
In a new interview, Jason says a week after his failed proposal to Melissa Rycroft on The Bachelor, ABC's producers started inquiring about Molly.
"They kept asking me if I thought Molly would be a good Bachelorette," he said. "I realized that I was not willing to have 25 guys fight over her."
Fortunately, Molly turned it down, and Jason got it right the second time, receiving a second chance and getting engaged to Molly last week.
The Bachelor's Molly and Jason got engaged earlier this month.
With the pair committed to marrying, the controversial ending of The Bachelor last season now looks like it was for the best. As for Melissa?
"Melissa is a great girl, but there wasn't any chemistry," Jason says.
Jason also adds that he and Melissa had already split in private, despite what the "After the Final Rose" special showed. But Molly wasn't aware.
The "After the Final Rose" taping that provided a less than ideal, but first possible opportunity to rekindle things with Molly and win her back.
The rest, as they say, is reality TV history.
It hits stores on November 23, but fans don't need to wait until then.
Adam Lambert has released the album cover for his upcoming CD, "For Your Entertainment."
The CD has sat atop Amazon.com's pre-seller's list for weeks. Regarding the singles on it, Lambert recently said:
"I really feel I've gotten to inject a lot of this music on the album with my own personal vocal stylings and my own lyrical content. A lot of it talks about stuff I really care about and that I find interesting, so that feels really good."
Will you be purchasing this CD? Or is that a silly question, with an obvious answer, considering how awesome and talented Lambert is?
With the exception of Mya, our staff would have been happy with pretty much any contestant getting eliminated this week on Dancing with the Stars.
Season nine has been our least favorite to date.
Therefore, we were at least happy to see a pair of celebrities get the boot last night, as the more fat we can trim from this group, the better. No offense, Melissa Joan Hart and Louie Vito, who were sent packing.
"That's the game," the actress said. "It's tough, I was hoping to make it one more week. My husband was coming next week with my kids."

Two more contestants will be eliminated next week, and we have just one plea to make to America:
Please get rid of Michael Irvin. Pretty, pretty please!
