Melissa Rycroft and Tye Strickland: Engaged!

The March finale of The Bachelor may have ended in controversy, but all involved have now found happiness.

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney continue to go strong; and scorned contestant Melissa Rycroft has officially moved on: she got engaged to boyfriend Tye Strickland last week!

Strickland proposed to the former Dancing With the Stars finalist in Dallas on Friday night, as the couple celebrated with their parents over dinner at a local restaurant.

Engaged!

Rycroft announced the engagement on ABC's Good Morning America this morning, a show on which she's serving as a correspondent this summer.

"Sometimes the stars align and the clouds part and everything works out the way it should," she said, adding on her Twitter page:

"Guess the secret's out... Thank you all so much for being so great and supportive!! We're soooo excited!"

Confirmed: Season Two of The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Considering the table-flipping conclusion to season one of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, along with the attention-garnering headlines generated by Danielle Staub, this is far from surprising news.

But we can now confirm that the Bravo series will return for a new set of episodes.

"They're doing a second season, and it's going to be crazier than the first," an insider told Life & Style. "It's going to explode. There's no premiere date, but everyone knows it's going to be a huge hit. The reason it has taken so long to announce is that once the show became such a hit, the women held out for much bigger paychecks."

Adam Lambert and Kris Allen: Life After American Idol

Adam Lambert, Kris Allen and their fellow season eight finalists are ready to hit the road.

The final two contestants on last season's American Idol were on hand at a press day in Los Angeles this week to talk about the Idols Live Tour. In separate interviews with People, each dished on his future in the business:

LAMBERT ON...

... his upcoming album: I am so excited! I think it’s going to come out in November. We haven’t found a title yet. And I’m working with RedOne — he’s an incredible producer who did Lady Gaga’s hit material. I’m working with Linda Perry, with Greg Wells, with Ryan Tedder, Sam Sparrow — amazing writers and producers. And I’m getting to co-write. I wrote a song with Kara Dioguardi from the show. It’s awesome.

... coming out as a homosexual: The response that I’ve felt is mostly positive support, so I think that’s great. It’s a testament to us really trying to become a bit more progressive and focus on what really matters which is that I’m an entertainer and a singer and that’s what it really needs to be about. My private life really has nothing to do with my ability to entertain.

... the tour: I’m looking forward to banking that paycheck. I’m not going to lie, I mean, that’s not my first priority, but, you know, I think for all of us, having gone through experience, to be able to walk away with some financial security in these tough times is really nice.

Friendly Rivals

ALLEN ON...

... recording new CD: It feels great! It feels great to know that you’ve wanted to do this thing your whole life and to know that you have an album coming out in the fall that you’ve worked hard on that is you.

... album specifies: None of that stuff I know yet. I don’t know if we’re going to have any collaborations and I have no idea how many tracks, but I think the CD is going to be great, I really do. A lot of good songs.

... tour accessories: If I got my iPod and my phone, I am perfect because you can talk to people and then you can listen to great music, which I like to do.

Luke Conley: The New (Overweight) Bachelor

Forget the sculpted abs of Jason Mesnick.

Luke Conley is bringing the girth to reality dating.

This 26-year-old former college football player is the star of Fox's More to Love, a Bachelor-esque series that focuses on plus-size individuals.

Conley is now a real estate investor, stands 6'3" tall and weighs over 300 pounds. According to a Fox press release, he's looking for a woman who is "intelligent, passionate, down-to-earth, full-figured and comfortable in her own skin."

Those 20 ladies, of course, will also be larger than the typical reality TV suitor. They have occupations that range from a plus-sized model to a lawyer to a rocket scientist.

More to Love, hosted by full-figured supermodel Emme, debuts Tuesday, July 28.

Coming Soon: Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff Reality Show, Divorce

Why, oh why, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff?!?

The pair, who seems to be happy together, are setting their relationship up for failure by agreeing to star on a reality show.

The engaged Dancing with the Stars duo haven't fully agreed to a contract yet, but the series would premiere in the fall and would follow the couple's bi-coastal, wedding-planning lives. Sounds... exciting?

“We haven’t signed on the dotted line yet, but hopefully it’s going to premiere this fall," Smirnoff told Life & Style. "The show’s just us trying to have a normal relationship being in the entertainment industry and opening a studio together.”

Right. Because, as Jon and Kate Gosselin - among countless others - have proved, shows that follow "normal relationships" always turn out well for the couple.

Danielle Staub Sex Tape: Denied!

Indeed, there is a Danielle Staub sex tape. But, no, we won't be seeing it any time soon.

Earlier today, a judge ordered an injunction against the release of any sexually explicit footage featuring The Real Housewife of New Jersey and her ex-boyfriend, Stephen Zalewski.

"We went to court today to prohibit the distribution of any tape or photograph and temporarily restrain him from doing that, and we were successful," Staub's attorney Darren Del Sardo told Us Weekly.

In the latest issue of the tablod, Staub says the tape was "unauthorized and it was taken with his cellphone." She has filed a lawsuit against Zalewski, claiming that he's attempting to get back at her and her children after she broke up him last year.

Danielle is accusing Zalewski of invasion of privacy, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Jacqueline Laurita to Tabloid: Danielle Staub Sucks!

On the June 16 season finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jacqueline Laurita stood up for Danielle Staub. The former came to the defense of the latter during a contentious, table-flipping fight with her co-stars.

But those days are over, as Laurita makes it clear in the latest issue of Us Weekly that she and Staub no longer speak.

"I am not friends with Danielle," Jacqueline said, adding that Staub doesn't have permission to see new baby Nicholas. "She has never seen the baby, nor will I ever show her. I learned my family was right about her all along."

Man. We're almost starting to feel sorry for Danielle. Is anyone else?
