Jeanine Mason Dishes on So You Think You Can Dance Victory

Jeanine Mason is your So You Think You Can Dance champion. She was crowned the victor on Thursday night, overcoming Kayla Radomski, Brandon Bryant and Evan Kasprzak in the finals.

Following her win, the 18-year old spoke to Entertainment Weekly about various aspects of her experience. Here are a few excerpts from the interview:

On who she thought would win: We really had no idea. Towards the beginning we tried to play that guessing game but you can honestly never guess what America wants. The perfect example of that is Janette leaving. She’s like my big sister — I love her to death, she’s from Miami, I’ve known her for awhile. I thought she was gonna win the season.

On injuries during the season: About a year ago, I had surgery to remove a tumor from my left elbow. I went through radiation treatment — the summer before my senior year, I spent every morning in the hospital. My elbow is much better now, and finally bending like it should, but it still gets locked up now and then. So when you’re training 12 hours a day, it definitely acts up.

On her solo performance in the finals: That was the best performance of my life. To finish that turn sequence with the pirouettes and ending on those beats…it just gives me goosebumps going back to it.

Kim Zolciak: NeNe Leakes Choked Me ... Twice!

Could be a long season of filming ahead. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak is now saying NeNe Leakes got a hold of her throat and choked her not once, but twice during their now infamous confrontation.

So much for this Housewives feud being over.

Zolciak told TMZ about the widely reported throwdown between her and her co-star. Kim says Bravo suggested the two meet up that day to hammer out their issues - but instead of working anything out, Kim got choked out!

Sorry, that was bad.

Did NeNe Leakes choke Kim Zolciak?

Kim Zolciak also says she lost her breath for a minute-plus as NeNe Leakes choked her ... the first time. Moments later, Kim says, NeNe went back and grabbed her neck again before producers had to escort her out.

That's when Kim filed a police report.

Taking one for the team, Kim Zolciak says she didn't file a restraining order against Nene Leakes so filming of the show could continue.

What a team player: "Violence is unacceptable, this has definitely changed my life. I wish NeNe would be humble enough to apologize."

NeNe denies the choking incident ever happened.

Jeanine Mason Named So You Think You Can Dance Winner!

Jeanine Mason, 18, was crowned the winner last night on So You Think You Can Dance, topping finalists Kayla Radomski, Brandon Bryant and Evan Kasprzak.

"It honestly feels like nothing right now. I feel numb from head to toe. When it does hit me, I'll probably run around my apartment 5,000 times screaming at the top of my lungs. Other than that, I'm just so excited to be here," said Jeanine.

"Someone asked me if I ever had a feeling I'd get eliminated and I said 'Every week!' Every week you think you're about to go home. I'm just so happy I didn't."

So You Think You Can Dance Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe was also surprised: "I'm delighted, I love surprises, and I think it was a bit of a surprise," he said.

Jeanine Mason, 18, is America's favorite dancer!

The versatile Jeanine Mason won the So You Think You Can Dance title over leggy talent Kayla, technical genius Brandon, and Broadway baby Evan.

As for her nearest competition, Brandon, Jeanine praised him, saying "He is amazing. Brandon is such a strong dancer. I grew so much because he took me up to a level that I never thought I could go to. He made me just live there."

Congratulations to Jeanine!

Victoria Beckham to Guest Judge on American Idol

With Paula Abdul officially out on American Idol, the questions are swirling:

Will the show add a fourth judge? If so, who will it be?

For at least one episode of the the Fox competition, we can (unfortunately) confirm that it will be Victoria Beckham.

Victoria Beckham

The former Posh Spice and current wife of David Beckham will make a “one-off appearance” as a guest judge on American Idol, her rep confirmed to Britain’s Sky News.

Reportedly, this won't be a permanent gig alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi because Beckham doesn’t wanna take time away from her fashion line. Thank goodness.

Random Magazine Confirms Bethenny Frankel Engagement

Is she or isn't she?

While we now know that Bethenny Frankel is returning to The Real Housewives of New York City, questions still surround her alleged engagement to Jason Hoppy.

Is the couple truly engaged? Or is this one massive PR stunt?

According to the editor-in-chief of Engagement 101 - yes, that magazine actually exists - the pair will, indeed, soon walk down the aisle.

“It’s not fake,” said Severine Ferrari, whose publication features Frankel this month. “Bethenny is a genuine person and she’s seriously committed to Jason. A wedding is definitely in the works.”

Cover Gal

As for Frankel, she opens up about Hoppy in the issue, saying:

“He’s kind, modest and a good person who can handle my success and my crazy lifestyle. Plus, he’s tall and good looking.”

The article also states that Bethenny is seeking a “six carat oval” engagement ring. Sounds like a real catch to us, Jason!

Paula Abdul Bids Farewell to American Idol

It's the end of a (crazy) era.

After eight seasons as a judge on American Idol, Paula Abdul has failed to agree to terms on a new contract. She bid farewell to her fans on Twitter last night, writing:

"With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to Idol," Abdul, 47, writes on her Twitter page. "I'll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day one become an international phenomenon.

"What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. I do, without any doubt, have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all."

American Idol, of course, had been preparing for this decision. It hired Kara DioGuardi as a fourth judge last season, and signed her to a new deal last week.

When season nine premieres in January, she'll be joined by veterans Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell, along with far less nonsencial rambling.

Dancing With the Stars Cast Rumors: Lou Ferrigno, Dean McDermott

Dancing With the Stars is getting desperate.

Last month, the rumor was that the show had signed Ashley Hamilton for the cast. Try not to get too excited about that.

Now, a couple of other Z-list names are making the rounds.

First, Life & Style reports that former actor and bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno is set to boogie. The Incredible Hulk star, who was actually personally training Michael Jackson before he died, told the magazine:

"I had a good meeting with the producers for Dancing With the Stars, it was really positive, and they loved the idea of having me on the show. I've never done that type of dancing before, so I know that I'll have to train hard. I'm a glutton for punishment, so I'll give it my best shot."

Meanwhile, Marc Malkin of E! News says that Tori Spelling's husband (that's really all he's known for) Dean McDermott is in talks with producers.

"He wants to do it," an insider said. "He'd be really good at it, too."

The official Dancing with the Stars cast will be announced on August 17.

Bethenny Frankel: Returning to The Real Housewives of New York City

There was talk of a Bethenny Frankel reality show.

There was also talk of a lawsuit.

As a result of the latter, the former is no longer taking place and Frankel has confirmed her third season return to The Real Housewives of New York City.

“I’m definitely going to do the Housewives this season,” she said to People over the weekend. “It’s been great... I love it. I understand we start filming [season 3] in September.”

B. Frank

When told that series rival Kelly Bensimon wanted to rehabilitate her image, Frankel replied: “Good luck with that. Am I helping? No.”

Don't worry, Bethenny. We never dreamed you would.
