As a top-10 finished on the eighth season of American Idol, Megan Joy qualified for this summer's national tour.

She recently spoke to E! News about the last couple months of performing, which has been highlighted by a few (thousand) crazed Adam Lambert fans.

On new music by fellow artists: I've heard Adam's and Allison's, and it's amazing. I can't wait.

On the fans of the male singers: If we're outside signing and Adam comes out, I know I'm going to need a hearing aid later in life because the girls scream so loud. I swear 12-year-old girls have the craziest voice boxes in the world.

On writing on the road: It's pretty hard. I try to get stuff down as much as I can. I found that it's easy for me to start by writing a rap and then turn it into a song later. So, I'm writing raps right now. And that's working out pretty well. And I have a song about my brother, "Say It Ain't So." My nickname for my brother is "Say," it's because he goes by C.J., and in Spanish that's Sejosa, so I just call him Say. Right now it's just in bits and pieces. It's about our experiences and how I feel about him. It's cute.

One is a former supermodel that turned millions of men on to the concept of true beauty in the early 90s.

The other is a disgraced politician that was forced out of Congress due to criminal charges of money laundering.

But both Kathy Ireland and Tom DeLay (pictured below) are contestants on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars! Here's a look at the complete cast:

The British singer has passed the torch of American Idol guest judge to Mary J. Blige.

The Grammy Award-winner will meet up with Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara Kara DioGuardi in Atlanta for auditions next week. Sounds like she'll have popular shoes to fill.

“The judges and production team have been having a lot of fun with Victoria,” a show source said. “She’s had a great response so far, and has been really warm with the contestants.”

Fortunately, those La Toya Jackson rumors will not become a reality.

While Michael's sister admits she was asked to appear on season nine of Dancing with the Stars, she told Access Hollywood this week that it didn't feel like a proper thing to do.

“I’ve been approached to do Dancing With the Stars,” Jackson said. “The fact of the matter is, I won’t be doing it, simply because of the circumstances that (are) going on at the moment.”

There are no circumstances surrounding Beth Ostrosky, however.

On his radio program this morning, Howard Stern said his wife was heading to Los Angeles to participate in a reality show. That's the only hint he'd provide.

All speculation will end this Monday, of course. That's when the full cast will be announced on Good Morning America.

Perhaps Kim Zolciak isn't so innocent after all.

A couple weeks after she claimed her Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate/enemy NeNe Leakes choked her during an argument, Zolciak admitted yesterday that she played a role in the tussle, as well.

Now, Kim is completely backing off her charge against NeNe, at least in the legal sense.

“I don’t have to press charges to prove a point to America,” the reality TV star told OK! magazine. “I hope NeNe in her heart she knows she made a mistake. She doesn’t have to publicly apologize — I’m sure it eats at her. ”

“She has her family, I have a family, we’re on a successful show, and I’m going to try to be the better person,” Kim said.

We're sure that will last. For at least a few minutes.

Heidi Montag has, as advertised, gotten down, dirty and... at least partially naked for Playboy in its September issue. The Hills star and Spencer Pratt's wife did not reveal any full-frontal action, but she is definitely in some risque shots.

Wes Hayden was this season's most hated man on The Bachelorette - but only by the fans. Jillian Harris liked him enough to take him all the way to the top four, and the singer just wrapped up a guys’ weekend with fellow contestants.

“Tanner [Pope], who lives in Dallas, drove up while Mike [Stagliano] and David [Good] and the rest of the guys flew in to have a good time,” Wes said.

The group hit hot spot Ranch 616, where they shared dinner, drinks and gossip about The Bachelorette winner and alleged cheater Ed Swiderski.

“I had no clue whether Ed had a girlfriend on the show. I didn’t know,” says Wes, who was also rumored to be dating Laurel Kagay on the show.

“If it’s true, I feel really bad for Jillian. I don’t know what to believe to be honest with you. I feel bad for Jillian and for Ed. But if in fact he was doing what everybody’s been saying, then he's got to man up and deal with it.”

Wes Hayden feels bad for Ed Swiderski. Unless the rumors he cheated on Jillian Harris are true, in which case, that's just messed up, man.

The controversial country singer, who says not to believe everything you see on TV, has doubts about whether romance can blossom on The Bachelorette.

“I have a hard time grasping that the show’s intentions are genuine,” he said.

“If Jillian honestly came on the show looking for love, thought that she found it and then found out it was made up and Ed was cheating on her, that’s awful.”

As for Jillian, Wes Hayden says, “We connected on the show and we’re always going to be friends.” But he’s focused on pushing his first album Full Circle.

“I’m not dating anybody; I’m way too busy right now,” he says, however: "But you know, if I meet the right woman, I’d definitely like to settle down.”

We're just days away from the premiere of Project Runway season six. It airs on Lifetime, starting on August 20.

Over the last few weeks, we've been counting down the hours and previewing the show's new contestants. Today, it's time to meet Mitchell Hall.

This 26-year old designer is a creative director for a Vera Wang bridal salon. He lives in Savannah, Georgia.

"Mitchell looks like he just stepped out of Gossip Girl and I think that's who he'd like to design for," Tim Gunn said of the aspiring competitor.

Hall says his favorite designer is Valentino.

Yesterday, NeNe Leakes said Kim Zolciak was "not innocent" when it came to the recent dust-up between the Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars.

Now, Kim is finally owning up to the role she played in a brawl between the former friends, one that concluded, allegedly, with NeNe's hands around her neck.

“I was not pleased with the stuff that’s coming out her mouth, but as far as putting your hands on somebody, absolutely not. I didn’t touch her first,” Zolciak told OK! magazine, adding/admitting:

“She put her hand in my face after she choked me the first time, and I smacked her finger out of my face... I think I was so shocked that someone would strangle me.”
