Get to Know a Project Runway Contestant: Shirin Askari

As we inch closer to the season six premiere of Project Runway on Lifetime (August 20), here's yet another look at one of the show's new contestants.

Step right up, Shirin Askari!

This 25-year old hails from Garland, Texas. She considers Elie Saab and Jacques Fath to be her favorite designers.

"She's young, she's pretty, she's articulate," Tim Gunn said of the freelance designer, whose style icon is Katharine Hepburn. "I'm not sure what is distinctive about her, other than the fact that she's good."
