Miami Social to Premiere July 14

Younger viewers have The Hills.

Older viewers have The Real Housewives of about 27 cities.

Miami Social hopes to draw those 30-somethings in between.

Longtime reality television fans may be familiar with both Katrina Campins and Hardy Hill, as she finished sixth on the first season of The Apprentice in 2004 while he finished fourth on Big Brother's second season in 2001.

They will be among those featured on Miami Social, which will follow the lives of seven "hot, young professionals" in Miami, beginning July 14.

"I don't see any other show out there that has people in there 30's that are successful and that are in a city like Miami," Campins said. "I think this will fill the void for those people looking for another guilty pleasure."

"It shows our friendships and us helping each other get through things. It shows a multitude of dynamics with regards to our interrelations and how we handle each other, issues and success. We work hard and we play harder."

"We're not necessarily much different from anybody else. But we have a very, very beautiful backdrop and we just try very hard to be very successful."

For his part, Hardy Hill described Miami as "the American Riviera," as a "culturally diverse melting pot ... It's just got so many unique characteristics. It really is a different type of energy down here."

Danielle Staub Should Fear for Her Life, Ex Says

Viewers of The Real Housewives of New Jersey rolled their eyes and laughed at Danielle Staub for most of the show's first season.

But her ex-husband Kevin Maher, the man that exposed Staub's past in the 1996 book Cop Without a Badge, says there's nothing funny about what Danielle has done.

"I can't believe Danielle would have allowed herself to go on TV - on a series that basically shows where she lives! - given what she has done in the past," Maher told Star.

Unsexy Staub

Granted, court documents from Staub's 1986 FBI arrest, for her role in an extortionl/kidnapping plot, exist. And, yes, they include details of how she cut a deal with the government to avoid a jail sentence by ratting on her drug dealer friends.

But does that really spell trouble for the mother of two? Are these shady acquaintances really watching Bravo?

"She helped put a couple of big-time Colombian coke dealers in jail," said Maher. "These are dangerous men who never forget... and they could be back out on the street now. It’s mind-boggling to me that she’d put herself at risk!"

Erin Lucas Will Not Return to The City

Erin Lucas will not be returning to MTV's The City.

She shot some scenes for the upcoming second season but will no longer be on the show, according to a statement by her rep to Us Weekly.

"It never hurts to try something new, but when you're born to do something, chances are you're going to wind up doing it no matter where you detour."

"The latest proof comes from Erin Lucas, who loved her hosting career and never meant to stray ... until The City beckoned."

"It was nice while it - and her friendship with Whitney Port - lasted."

"But it was hosting she loved, and it is to hosting she returns, blowing kisses to all as she departs the series for her hosting home turf."

Erin Lucas - whose previous hosting credits include mtvU - is working on other projects, including a video podcast called "Style Lounge."

Danielle Staub: All My Children Guest Star

Considering her past of cocaine-snorting, extorition and sex tapes, is it really any surprise that Danielle Staub once appeared on a soap opera?

In 2001, the reality TV star appeared in a brief All My Children scene. She played a character named Nora, who was on a date with Jackson Montgomery (played by Walt Wiley).

After uttering a few words, Staub gets interrupted by... Josh Duhamel! Indeed, Fergie's husband played Leo du Pres on the daytime drama from 1999 to 2002.

Laurel Kagay: Just Friends with Wes Hayden

Wes Hayden's mystery "girlfriend" from The Bachelorette has surfaced - and says Jillian Harris has nothing to worry about as far as being two-timed.

Laurel Kagay sat in shock at home as ousted Jake Pavelka returned to the show to rat out Wes for being in a relationship while on the ABC show.

“I was like, ‘What?’” Laurel told People in an interview today. “There was this pause before he said my name. Then he said it quite a few times.”

But Laurel Kagay, owner of Peach Body Boutique in Austin, Tex., says she and Wes are just friends: “I’m absolutely not with Wes, nor would I be if he were going on a show to be with another girl,” she says. “That’s absolutely crazy.”

As for the confusion, she did admit that “I think Wes did say something about his ex-girlfriend. Maybe he said he still cares about me or whatever."

"Maybe Jake blew that into something else. We are good friends and do go out to lunch together, so I can see how people could think we’re together.”

Amazingly, Laurel is also linked to another famous name in The Bachelor franchise - Brad Womack, who chose no one on his season finale.

They dated for four years, Laurel says. Wow.

Oh, and finally, Laurel Kagay has also dated Collin Evans, who was briefly a contender on The Bachelorette season starring Jen Schefft.

Sounds like she has a reality TV-fame seeking type!

What do you think? In light of this revelation from Laurel, do you see Wes differently? Should Jillian Harris choose this "bad boy" singer?

NeNe Leakes Trashes Co-Star, Builds Brand in New Book

Move over, New Jersey. You had your chance in the spotlight.

On July 30, NeNe Leakes and The Real Housewives of Atlanta return for a second season.

Just a few days after the premiere, Leakes' new book, Never Make the Same Mistake Twice, will be released by Simon & Schuster. Aside from chapters on being a single mother and escaping an abusive relationship, NeNe focuses on her controversial co-stars.

"I talk about my relationship with Sheree [Whitfield]," Nene told S2S Magazine about the book, which comes out on August 11. "I pride myself on being a very good judge of character, and some of the things that we went through, I didn't see them coming."

NeNe Leakes Book

As for Kim Zolciak, and Nene's contention that she aspires to date married men?

"I talk about it very openly... and she makes no excuses for it," Leakes said.

Finally, Leakes touched on her purpose for writing the book:

"I'm really just trying to build a brand, and it's really important. I want longevity, I don't want to just be a reality star. You know, I was a business woman when they found me and I want to continue to be a business woman."
