Allison Iraheta: American Idol Exit Interview

All it took was one less-than-stellar performance for Allison Iraheta to be voted off American Idol.

The talented young singer was sent home this week, and she appears to be dealing with the elimination better than many of her fans. Here are excerpts from her exit interview with Entertainment Weekly:

On getting credit from the judges: I mean, I don't know. I honestly don't know. It was weird. Sometimes I would get criticized for what I would wear and I'd be like, Wait. What about the way I sang? But I guess this whole thing is about a package and they want to see you as a recording artist. It's all for the best, though.

On expectations
: I never really thought I'd get that far. It was too much for me. I had confidence issues in the beginning and then I gained confidence throughout the show. I guess I thought I had a chance because I'd made it to the top 4. But you know, things happen for a reason. Chris Daughtry left as number four too.

On Adam Lambert
: Yeah, we're really close. I feel like he's my older brother and I can go to him and tell him anything. Beyond music he's such a great person. All of them, Kris and Danny too. When we did ''Slow Ride'' it was so fun. We heard they were doing duets and we immediately decided the two of us had to do something. Adam came up with ''Slow Ride'' and I was like, ''Heck yeah, let's do it!''

Ty Murray to Fans: Chill with the Trash Talk!

A couple after Lil’ Kim was sent home on Dancing with the Stars, viewers are still angry that the rapper was eliminated from the competition before rodeo star Ty Murray, who was clearly the worst performer this week.

Now, Mr. Jewell has gone on his MySpace blog to tell his supporters to relax.

“I just want to be sure and remind everybody not to get suckered into all the trash talk on the Internet. Let’s not worry about it and, instead, we’ll just let it roll off of our backs," Murray wrote.

How far will Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower go on Dancing with the Stars?

Even judge Carrie Ann Inaba commented on the elimination controversy.

"In the past 24 hours I’ve literally been attacked by people asking me, ‘What happened with Lil’ Kim? Why is Ty Murray still in the competition?’” Inaba said. “It’s simple. Ty Murray embodies what the show is all about. He is the most improved dancer this season. Is he the best dancer? No. But he stepped so far out of his element to do this and that’s why he’s still on the show.”

Source: Daisy De La Hoya is Exhausted!

We felt bad for Daisy De La Hoya yesterday when reports surfaced that she was rushed to the hospital as the result of a drug overdose.

But now that her representative has said it was simply a case of exhaustion, we truly pity this reality star. One must lose so much sleep trying to decide whether one should send 12 Pack or Big Rig home on Daisy of Love!

"Daisy was taken to the ER early this morning suffering from delirium as a result of exhaustion," rep Cassandra Grill said to E! Online. "There was no overdose. She is fine this evening and resting comfortably."

Of course. When really tired, who doesn't take advantage of an ambulance ride? It is free, after all, and this economy isn't turning around any time soon!

Daisy De La Hoya: Rushed to the Hospital!

All of a sudden, the latest Daisy of Love preview doesn't seem so important.

That show's star, Daisy De La Hoya, is currently lying in a Los Angeles hospital bed after friends called 911 because they suspected she may have overdosed on a substance.

A source told TMZ that medics rushed to a home in Hollywood where Daisy was hanging out because pals heard her making strange noises. When emergency personnel arrived, insiders report that De La Hoya was acting "crazy." She yelling, screaming and thrashing around.

It took many people on the scene to get Daisy into an ambulance.

The antics of Daisy De La Hoya on screen are far less funny when they have real-life consequences.

Derek Hough and Mark Ballas: Leaving Dancing with the Stars?

Male viewership for season nine of Dancing with the Stars will likely suffer, as Julianne Hough has announced she won't be participating in it.

Now, the female demographic is taking a big hit, as a pair of professional stud muffins aren't sure about their status for next season, either.

Earlier this week, Derek Hough told E! News that he and Mark Ballas might take a break from dancing in order to focus on music.

"Mark and I might not be back, either," Derek said. "We have other things going on."

Might The Ballas Hough Band take two pros away from Dancing with the Stars?

The Ballas Hough Band, which features the pair, released its debut album, BHB, in March and "there’s a bunch of stuff on the table right now," Hough added, "We're going on tour this summer."

While Hough wouldn't give a final answer regarding his season nine status, he simple said:

"We've got to see what happens... it would be crazy, all three of us... leaving at the same time."

American Idol Elimination: Allison Iraheta

This makes us sad.

After the judges refused to criticize Danny Gokey for a weak performance on Monday night - one that he said he "laughed" over afterwards - viewers followed the panel's words like sheep to the slaughter, as they sacrificed Allison Iraheta in the name of the inevitable Gokey/Adam Lambert final.

In all honesty, American Idol never seemed more rigged than it did this week. You deserved better, Allison.

Melissa Rycroft: Sad to See Lil Kim Go

What will Melissa Rycroft miss most about Lil Kim, who was voted off Dancing with the Stars this week?

"Everything!" she told Us Weekly after the show. "She is so sweet, and [the show] brought out a side of her for fans to see that they didn't know. I didn't know how sweet she would be. She had something genuine about her that just made me smile."

Still, the season must go on for Rycroft and the other remaining celebs on Dancing with the Stars.
