Premiere Date For NYC Prep Announced

Looks like Gossip Girl is about to get real.

With NYC Prep, Bravo will be taking us inside the lives of elite Manhattan teenagers. For a network with three (and counting) shows in its successful Real Housewives franchise, this was really only a matter of time.

The NYC teen series will premiere Tuesday, June 16 at the odd time of 11 p.m., but will move to its regular time slot on Tuesday, June 23 at 10 p.m.

In the fashion department, there's not exactly a Blair Waldorf or Chuck Bass among the bunch - even though Camille (left) apparently favors her odd hair accessories, while PC (middle) has a penchant for the emo scarf.

The character descriptions, however, give us more hope.

Kelli (right) wants to start her own singing career, while Camille enjoys hitting the hot clubs, even at age 16, while Sebastian is a total ladies' man and Taylor just wants to marry a rich husband. Hey, she's honest.

David Alan Grier Has Harsh Words for Carrie Ann Inaba

David Alan Grier, along with partner Kym Johnson, was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars this week.

But the comedian isn't going quietly.

Speaking to reporters after he got the boot, Grier had harsh words for judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

The two actually worked together years ago, as Grier played a prominent role on the sketch comedy show In Living Color, while Inaba was a dancer - or "Fly Girl" - on the program. But that relationship didn't exactly prevent the actor from going off.

"She better not come within 10 feet of me because she's getting a foot in her ass," Grier told tabloid OK!. "I feel like we never got the respect of the judges. Never!"

Think Grier has a legitimate beef? Should Inaba be scared?

Scott MacIntyre Speaks on American Idol Elimination

Scott MacIntyre was eliminated from American Idol this week.

In a conference call with reporters, the talented blind singer talked about his experience on the show.

On the judges: "I don't take what the judges said to heart. In the scheme of things, it's actually a good, solid performance. Some of the criticism is undue, but I respect the judges and I'm so glad at least two of them tempted to keep me on yesterday."

Scott MacIntyre, Idol Performance

On final performance: "Honestly, I have no regrets leaving the show. I'm so happy I brought my shredder out and got to go out in a blaze of glory last night."

On the finalists: "We are actually one of the only groups apparently that talks and jokes two minutes before we walk on stage. Apparently last year's group was very silent and in their own worlds and preparing mentally for the performance, which I try to do as well, but there's this extra element, even though we're competing, we have so much fun until the second before we walk on stage."

Jen Schefft: A Frugal Bride

Jen Schefft - who got engaged to Andrew Firestone on the third season of The Bachelor; then went on to star on The Bachelorette in 2005 - is getting married in May.

However, she got fired last fall and, as she tells Us Weekly, doesn't wish to spend a fortune on the ceremony.

"I wanted to be considerate of a price," said Schefft, who is marrying Joe Waterman, a trader. "I'm not going to wear a $20,000, or even a $10,000 dress. I just don't think it's worth it for one day."

During an exclusive shoot for the tabloid, Schefft modeled gowns for under $1,000. For example:

In this economy, Jen Schefft is avoiding an expensive wedding; and, we hope, any risky home mortgage loans.

Is Alec Baldwin Dating Johanna Cox?

Here's the craziest celebrity gossip rumor we've heard today:

Alec Baldwin is reportedly dating Johanna Cox, the winner of the first season of Stylista.

The actor, 51, took the 29-year-old to the New York premiere of his new movie, Lymelife, last week.

"They acted like a couple. They were holding hands," a source told Us Weekly.

Age is just a number.  Have you heard Jack Donaghy's 30 Rock quotes?!?

American Idol Eliminates Scott MacIntyre

Scott MacIntyre went farther on American Idol than any blind contestant in history.

But his run came to an end last night, as viewers voted the affable songwriter off the show.

In her most coherent statement in weeks, Paula Abdul told the singer:  “You’ve been an inspiration to the entire world through your commitment, through your talent. We love you.”

Idol End

Not So Great Scott: MacIntyre receives the bad news.

Next week, the remaining seven finalists sing songs from movies, under the tutelage of guest mentor Quentin Tarantino. Seriously!

Also, Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus are lined up for next Wednesday's elimination show.

Celebrity Gossip Site: Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney Drifting Apart, Nearing a Split

Reports of Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick dating and getting to know each other in the aftermath of their epic Bachelor season finale came as a relief for fans of the couple, who seemed glad to return to real life.

But according to one celebrity gossip site, things have slowly gone south between the two - and a breakup may happen as soon as this weekend.

Molly Malaney, 24, is said to be far less enamored of the single father than she once was, and is considering breaking up with him over Easter.

“The more she sees Jason, the less she likes him” a friend reveals.

If they did split, that would make The Bachelor 0-for-13.

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney cozy up on TV.

The "friend" adds that Molly doesn’t trust Jason Mesnick after dumped Molly on the season finale, then won her back on the "After the Final Rose" special.

“Let’s face it, (Molly) was his second choice,” a second source says of runner-up Molly Malaney and Melissa Rycroft. “He has a history of being fickle.”

It's also rumored that Molly isn’t ready to relocate to Seattle.

“Jason expects her to quit her job and move,” the source says. “Molly’s not giving up her life unless she’s 100 percent sure that he’s committed.”

Right now, the relationship is shaky. The two talk almost every night on the computer, but she hasn’t gone to Seattle to visit Jason since March 3.

“It’s make-or-break time,” the friend explains.

The Hills Season Premiere Ratings Down, But Still High

Lauren Conrad is soooo over Heidi Montag.

MTV viewers, however, still can't get enough!

Well, some of them are over The Hills, to be sure. The ratings for the MTV show have declined 15 percent from last season, which was down 15 percent from the season prior to that. But still, the Season Five premiere was a hit.

Lauren and Heidi Pic

The Hills' premiere, "Don't Cry on Your Birthday," scored Monday's highest TV rating among females age 12-24 and 18-24, according to new reports.

The hour of The Hills, kicking off the final season for star Lauren Conrad and perhaps for the show in general, averaged a strong 3 million viewers.

That figure would make the skanks on For the Love of Ray J salivate even harder than they do when they see the former sex tape star shirtless.

Just wait until Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt stage their four-part breakup, that should draw an even greater repulsed-yet-addicted audience.
