Holly Montag: Sort of on Speidi's Side!

As the celebrity gossip world waits to see if Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag actually get married, Holly Montag is preparing for the worst.

Heidi's sister says she's prepared to accept Pratt as her brother-in-law, as the pair attempts to fix its relationship.

"We are definitely trying to work on it," Holly said earlier this week. "If that's who my sister chooses to be with, then to stay in her life, I kind of have to suck it up and do my best."

Holly Mantag

Although Pratt and Heidi fought and pretended to almost break up after he was caught out with a bartender during this week's episode of The Hills, Holly says he really is trying to be a better person.

"He is. He has been, and hopefully this season people will try and see more of Spencer’s positive qualities," Holly said. "There are a lot of good things about him."

In other Speidi news:

Reports state the couple has been added to NBC's upcoming version of the UK reality TV show, I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Yes, this would pit Spencer and Heidi against disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. God help us all.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy Will Continue to Dance with the Stars

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is more than just a (VERY) pretty face.

The Dancing With the Stars professional understands the job market and, as a result, told Us Weekly on Wednesday that he'll be remaining on the show for the foreseeable future.

"In this economy, to have a job like this?" said the dancer, who was voted off with Denise Richards a few weeks ago. "Believe me, It's not a bad job!"

Maks the Magnificent

So, Maks, who do you think will win this season?

"It's between Melissa Rycroft, Gilles Marini and Lil Kim. I would be happy to see any one of them win," he said.

He didn't last very long this season, but click on the following photos for larger images of Chmerkovskiy and Richards...

Kelly Bensimon: Not Hating on Bethenny Frankel!

This just in: Kelly Bensimon likes Bethenny Frankel!

Or she doesn't hate every fiber of her being, at least.

"Honestly, I don't hate her," Bensimon told Us Weekly this week. "I actually really respect her. It's not easy trying to start a business and be single in New York."

Bensimon added that she does not "go out of my way to, like, be a bitch," despite mounting evidence to the contrary.

"I think we're both just strong women and we butt heads," Kelly said. "But ultimately it's really nothing I lose sleep over... I think a lot of people are scared of her, and well, I'm not scared of her. And I refuse to put up with her s--t."

Soothing words of non-hate indeed.

Fantasia Barrino Reality Show: Coming Soon!

Fantasia Barrino, a former American Idol finalist that has suffered from recent financial problems, will star in an upcoming reality show on VH1.

It will likely debut in early 2010.

"Fantasia has one of the most fascinating stories in show business, from her tough upbringing to her meteoric rise on the national scene thanks to American Idol,'" Jeff Olde, executive VP of original programming at VH1, told The Hollywood Reporter.

"Her challenges from fame and her unwillingness to fail have combined to create a larger-than-life talent who appeals to music lovers around the world. So many people wanted to work with her on this, but Fantasia is now part of the VH1 family, and we're so happy to have her."

American Idol Judges Save Matt Giraud

Matt Giraud is now the answer to a trivia question:

Which American Idol contestant benefited from the first-ever use of the judges' save?

Despite an encore performance of "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" that didn't seem much more impressive than his original rendition, Giraud was informed by Simon Cowell last night that he would not actually be sent home.

Matt Giraud Audition

Of course, the snarky judge couldn't let the singer enjoy the moment for too long.

"I wouldn't be so quick to congratulate him," Cowell said when Matt's fellow contestants swarmed him for a group hug. "Two people are going home next week now. And, next week is disco week."

Yikes!

Audrina Patridge Reality Show to Feature "New Love, Relationships"

While telling reporters that her upcoming reality show will be "spicier, edgier [and] older" than anything she's done before, Audrina Patridge also hinted that it would mark the end to her time with Justin-Bobby Brescia.

When asked about their relationship at the premiere of Into the Blue 2: The Reef, Audrina replied:

“It could resolve... in a good way or in a bad way. You’ll have to see. But put it this way, I don’t really hold back. I just let it all out this season. I fight back.”

Sounds scary!

As for leaving The Hills, Patridge acknowledges that it's bittersweet.

“[The show] gave me these opportunities, and the cast and the crew almost became like a family. But at this point all of us are ready to branch out, and I feel like all of us have changed and matured so much that we’re ready to go out for the next big challenge."

In this case, that challenge is based around the same exact reality show format that made Audrina famous in the first place.

Rod Blagojevich Lands Reality Show Gig

On the same day that Nadya Suleman landed her own TV show, an even more disturbing piece of television news has come to our attention:

The disgraced former governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich - who pleaded not guilty to federal racketeering and fraud charges this week - has signed a deal to star in NBC's summer reality series, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.

Rod Blagojevich

Blagojevich's participation requires court approval because the show will be shot in Costa Rica and he's not allowed to leave the United States, due to his unrepentant lying and cheating.

If he takes part, Blagojevich would be one of 10 celebrities competing in a series of jungle challenges to raise money for charity. The series will premiere June 1.
