Alex McCord: Unemployed!

Kelly Bensimon has company in the reality TV doghouse.

While The Real Housewives of New York City cast member awaits arraignment on charges of battery, another star from this Bravo franchise is facing trouble.

Two weeks ago, Alex McCord was released from her position in visual merchandising for Victoria's Secret.

"Alex is a Real Housewife and a real person who is not immune to the effects of the economy as experienced by hundreds of thousands of Americans," a Bravo rep told E! News. "As such, she will be actively seeking meaningful employment buoyed by her many skills, contacts, experience and ambition. Her family supports her fully in these efforts."

Kelly Bensimon: Arrested!

Kelly Bensimon is officially a reality TV star:

The new The Real Housewives of New York City cast member was arrested last week.

Allegedly, Bensimon punched boyfriend Nicholas Stefanov, splitting his cheek open. She was arraigned in a New York City court Thursday.

Based on legal documents, Bensimon and Stefanov got into a heated argument, which led to the blow and resulting laceration below his left eye.

Bensimon's lawyer denies the charges, of course. Stephen Turano told Us Weekly that his client pleaded not guilty. He added: "The charges are unfounded."

Kelly is due in court March 31.

Rock of Love Bus Photo Recap: Episode Eight

We hope you're sitting down.

For while we didn't think it was possible for Rock of Love Bus to shock us with its antics, even our staff - hardened to reality TV nonsense through the years - were taken aback by the premiere on this week's episode:

Bret Michaels tasked his suitors to babysit for the children of army wives for a day. As if having a parent fighting overseas wasn't traumatic enough for these kids.

What went down? You can read about it on VH1's series blog.

You can also click on the photos below for a pictorial recap of the hour (which also involved its fair share of making out, of course)...

Family of Jillian Harris Pumped For The Bachelorette

Relatives of the first Canadian Bachelorette, Jillian Harris, are proud of their girl and keeping their hopes up that she'll find reality TV love this summer.

"I hope she finds that best friend she is looking for, her soulmate," said aunt Mona Harris from the family's quaint home town of Peace River, Alberta.

"She's got a good personality; she's a good person and she's got a good job. I think she'll do just great," her uncle Mark Harris told the Edmonton Sun.

Jillian's rising stardom has become the talk of the town since she was named the star of the fifth installment of The Bachelorette last Tuesday night.

On The Bachelor, the fan favorite came in third behind Melissa Rycroft, who won but was son dumped, and Molly Malaney, who's now with Jason.

Jason Mesnick dumped her, but now the tables are turned and it will be Jillian Harris, 29, who will have her pick of 25 eligible suitors as The Bachelorette.

Given how The Bachelor turned out, Jillian's parents think it was a blessing in disguise that their daughter was eliminated before the final rose ceremony.

"Jillian realizes there is no guarantee, but sometimes magic happens," her mother Peggy said. "I'm not sure what Jillian considers her odds to be, but I guess no different than meeting someone at the gym. It'll be interesting."

While Jillian Harris is under orders not to speak to media about the show, she indicated in a press release that she is confident she will find love starring on The Bachelorette, which debuts Monday, May 18 on ABC.

Andrew Firestone: Jason Mesnick is an Ass

Former The Bachelor star Andrew Firestone is not buying Jason Mesnick's sob story after dumping fiancee Melissa Rycroft for Molly Malaney.

"If he didn’t have his mind made up, don’t do anything," Firestone said.

"Don’t feel that you are so pressured into having to propose or make a decision. There’s no reason that you have to do anything, especially if you’re so torn that you’re crying like a little girl on that balcony."

"He was faking it so much that he was crying uncontrollably, then [showed] uncontrollable elation, so he was either lying to one or the other, convincingly."

Andrew Firestone proposed to Jen Schefft on his 2003 finale, and although the couple later split, he doesn't regret his decision at the time.

"It wasn’t like, 'Eh, you know what, flip a coin.'"

Firestone, who said he traded a few emails about Mesnick's behavior with former Bachelorette contestant Trista Sutter, agrees that ending the engagement on the show was inappropriate.

"Don’t drag the poor girl on national TV," he tells Us Weekly. "I think the main thing, you’ve got to act like a gentleman."

The 33-year-old, who is now expecting his first child with wife Ivana Bozilovic, doesn't fall for what he calls Mesnick's "aw shucks, poor me" attitude.

Source: Melissa Rycroft to Go Dancing with the Stars

Melissa Rycroft failed to find a husband on reality TV.

But the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader is hoping to replace heartbreak with triumph: People Magazine reports that the jilted Bachelor suitor will take over for injured Nancy O'Dell on the new season of Dancing with the Stars.

Rycroft, of course, was dumped by Jason Mesnick on last week's world-shattering, post-finale After the Final Rose special. She has received nationwide sympathy as a result.

According to an insider close to Dancing with the Stars, Rycroft has had only days to rehearse. She's expected to perform live on tomorrow night's premiere and to be teamed with professional Tony Dovolani.

No word on whether or not Molly Malaney will be backstage in case Dovolani wishes to change partners.
