On last night's reunion between The Real Housewives of Orange County, major fireworks took place between Tamra Barney and Gretchen Rossi.

The former accused the latter of having an affair with Jay Photoglou behind the back of her late fiance, Jeff.

"I don’t know why you have the strange intent to ruin people’s reputations,” Gretchen said in her defense. “Do you really hate me that much that you need to say the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever heard?”

Meanwhile, we have no idea if Gretchen had an affair with Photoglou or not. But we have tracked down this attention-seeker's MySpace page. Here's the main (revealing?) photo on it:

The just-released Season 5 trailer for The Hills gave the impression that the show's producers were trying to wrap things up and bring the MTV hit full circle.

Lauren Conrad has now confirmed as much, telling Seventeen that she will be retiring from reality TV when the new season (which begins in March) ends.

“My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it’s still great,” she said. “I always want to remember it that way. I gave MTV a deadline and said, ‘This is as long as I can do it and stay sane.’”

Will the final season of The Hills mean bring peace with Heidi?

One factor that might have played into her decision? Unlike her past romances with Stephen Colletti, Brody Jenner and Jason Wahler, Lauren Conrad has kept her new relationship with actor Kyle Howard away from the MTV cameras.

The Hills had a good run. We look forward to seeing its conclusion this year ... and the inevitable Speidi spinoff that follows next season.

The world's two biggest reality shows have come together... in bed!

Dancing with the Stars professional Mark Ballas and former American Idol contestant Joanna Pacitti have gone public with their relationship.

“We both love music, we both love art, we both love dance,” said Ballas of the woman he's reportedly been dating for eight months. “That’s what we’re all about so we are always there for each other.”

Added Pacitti, talking to People Magazine:

I think we have the perfect situation. We both get each other and understand schedules and even on a musical level, I’ve never met someone that’s so passionate about music…that’s what I live for so it’s amazing to be with someone who gets it.”

Fans undoubtedly remember Jesse Csincsak as Jason Mesnick's rival for the love and affection of DeAnna Pappas on ABC's The Bachelorette.

Now, Jesse weighs in on Jason's turn on The Bachelor this season. Here's what the pro snowboarder had to say in a recent interview ...

Q: First of all, you are in a new relationship?

Jesse Csincsak: Yes, I'm dating Holly Durst from the previous season of The Bachelor. I'm psyched. She's cute and outgoing and fun to be with.

Q: So, how did you guys get together?

Jesse Csincsak: We met at a party in California, and I was actually still in my previous relationship. Holly had some interest in going to grad school in Boulder, Colorado. Once I wasn't in a relationship anymore, I shot her a text message and said, “Hey, you know, if you still are looking for a tour of Boulder and the college, I'd love to go down there with you.” She ended up coming out and going snowboarding, and it's all history from there.

Q: I don't know if you've been reading the blogs, but The Bachelor spoilers about the end of this season are pretty huge ...

Jesse Csincsak: My view on that is, hey, no matter what the outcome is, as long as Jason finds his true love, for him and Ty, more power to him. You know, I don't care what he has to do to be in love. You can't hate on the guy.

Simon Cowell is never shy about voicing his opinion.

Therefore, when asked about season eight of American Idol, the British judge told the following to People Magazine:

On who will win: “[It will be a] boy this year"

On the Joanna Pacitti disqualification: “I like scandals. It’s not American Idol without a scandal. In fact I hope we have some more, I really do.”

On the new show format: “The fact that we change these middle rounds makes it less monotonous. It’s a more interesting group of people than last year, a bit more personality, different types of singers.”

Hmmm, a boy, huh? Our money would be on Danny Gokey or Matt Giraud.

During this week's episode of For the Love of Ray J, the suitors were asked to perform at a club for their hopeful man.

Critiquing Caviar's lack of charisma during the challenge, Ray said: My ex-girl did better on Dancing With the Stars, baby.

We love it. Ray J just managed to insult both Caviar and the performance of Kim Kardashian.

On September 13, 2008, Gretchen Rossi lost her finace, Jeff Beitzel, to leukemia.

Viewers of The Real Housewives of Orange County discovered Jeff's tragic fate on the show's season finale.

But Jay Photoglou claims Rossi couldn't have been that broken up about it. The reason? He'd been having an affair with her for months.

“I was Gretchen’s REAL boyfriend,” Photoglou told The National Enquirer. “She spent her days at the hospital with her dying fiancé, but her nights with me.”

Photoglou says he and Rossi began dating in January 2008, and “for the next year we spent most nights together."

Rossi doesn't deny that she dated Jay for a bit.

"Jay and I had a short-lived relationship before Jeff and I started dating," she said, adding that his cheating accusations are "ridiculous” and “disrespectful to me and the memories of Jeff.”

Is The National Enquirer a reputable source? Of course not. But don't forget: it was the first publication to report on the John Edwards and Rielle Hunter affair. Just sayin.

In the season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County, viewers learned the fate of Jeff, Gretchen Rossi’s fiancé Jeff: he lost his battle with cancer.

The reality star spoke to People Magazine about the loss, along with other Housewives tidbits:

How are you holding up?
Every day is a different emotion. I wake up and either I’m happy or I’m really sad so it really just depends on the day. It’s kind of like a moving river … there’s always something new that has come to the surface.

Are you still in touch with the other Housewives?
Jeana and I are very close and [Lynne Curtin] and I have become very good friends. She is misunderstood on the show on some points. She really is a good mom. She has a good heart. She would take the shirt of her back to help another person. Jeana is very much the same way. She’s like a mother hen. She tries to take care of everybody

Will you do another season of The Real Housewvies of Orange County?
You’re going to have to watch and see what happens.

But Julia Anderson is America's Most Beautiful Person.

The 23-year-old magician's assistant from Dallas was dubbed with that title after winning the first season of True Beauty.

Anderson, a former Miss Teen Texas champion who was forced to relinquish the crown after being cited for public intoxication at the age of 17, was ecstatic after being named champion last night.

She said she hoped it would help lead to correcting the mistakes she made when she was younger.

"This is definitely the second chance that I've always wanted and I finally found true beauty, I did it," she said. "I finally found myself and I won the competition. I feel like a winner in every way possible, honestly."

Say whatever you want about Alex McCord - and many viewers of The Real Housewives of New York City certainly have - but the reality TV star at least isn't shy.

She didn't back down from any questions throw her way by Marc Malkin of E! News. Here are excerpts from their recent interview:

One of the hardest things you probably had to deal with last season was the nude photos of you that got out there.
It wasn’t fun. But I’m one of the million people out there who have them. They exist, so what? But because of the show, someone decided that they wanted to throw them out there. Um, I wasn’t thrilled about that.

How do you get along with the new housewife, Kelly Killoron Bensimon?
I did not have any fights with Kelly. [Laughs.] I didn’t actually see her that much. We filmed a few things together. I obviously don’t know what’s going to be shown and what’s not. But I filmed more with the others.

There’s a lot of speculation on the show about your husband’s sexuality. How do you deal with that?
It doesn’t bother me in the least. I know who he is. And it does make me laugh that when someone is different than they are, people feel the need to put a label on that. It’s pretty silly. I can certainly say that he’s the type of guy that if he actually were gay, he’d be out and loud and proud. But it makes me laugh. It really does.
