Jason Mesnick has narrowed The Bachelor field to 12. But we have reason to believe that one of the remaining dozen women has the inside track to his heart.
Ex-cheerleader Melissa Rycroft (below) certainly has Jason's attention thus far. But according to a video that has surfaced online, that's only the beginning ...
Some Canadian guy with a great accent, a love for The Bachelor and way, way too much time on his hands believes he has evidence that Jason Mesnick picks Melissa during the final rose ceremony - and ABC's own promo gave it away.

Sorry buddy she was not the only female that was shown wearing a pinky ring. I believe his date with the mom and the little girl.....the mom also wore a pinky ring in a few scenes

Stephanie was wearing the pinky ring on the wrong hand. The girl who is being proposed to wore the ring on the right hand. Melissa is the only one who wears a ring on her right hand all the time. Why would anyone put on a ring they don't usually wear on their hand when they might receive an engagement ring. Melissa wore it because she always wears it and it was just habbit. I believe this is the first time the show actually made a mistake and we know the winner!!!! Way to go Canada!

I'm pretty sure that ABC is smarter than all of us. Do you really think they would have something so obvious in their preview for the season. First of all, I doubt those are even the hands of the girl who wins, maybe not even the hands of any of the girls on the show. It's probably all a set up, I doubt there is any way to find out who wins from anything ABC produces.

I agree that its Melissa for the same reason. I noticed the pinky ring too on the promo and have noticed it several times since on Melissa. (By the way, Stephanie wears a LARGE pinky ring, Melissa's appears to be just a small, plain band, just like the one shown in the promo.)
For the record, I hope it is Melissa. She seems very down-to-earth, not to mention that she and Jason have something very important in common. Both have past experience on Reality TV - He, as we all know, on "The Bachelorette", and she on the CMT Reality Show, "The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders". That may help them weather the storm of fleeting fame.

I have another method. I noticed that the music that they play during all the last few dates with the person they end up choosing is the same from season to season. This music was played last week for the first time this season, when they were previewing the hometown dates while he was with Melissa.

I would not surprise if Melissa will be next Bachelorette.

Has everyone noticed that they have stopped showing the final rose ceremony? I am guessing the editor that SHOULD have seen this is no longer employed. Would like to see if he has a blog anywhere. :-)

Melissa wears a pinky ring because she was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, they get them after they have been on the squad for a few years. I worked for the Cowboys Cheerleaders a few years ago, and remember ABC calling to see if there were any single girls that would want to try out for the show... Jenni Croft who was on Brad Womack's season of the Bachelor was also a former cheerleader... and the last girl to win The Amazing Race, Starr Spangler, was a former cheerleader... sounds like they all just want to get famous on reality tv!
