Forget real housewives from Orange County, New York City or Atlana.

TLC is banking on the spouses of NASCAR drivers to garner high ratings.

The cable network has ordered a reality series titled NASCAR Wives, featuring women with surnames familiar to racing fans.

A hour-long special will air on January 24; while a full season, including an undisclosed number of episodes, will follow in the spring.

"Viewers turn to TLC for an insider's view into uncommon lives, and 'NASCAR Wives' will give an unprecedented look at what happens on and off the track," said TLC president Eileen O'Neill. "NASCAR is a remarkable and respected brand to partner with, and we look forward to exploring both the heart and adrenaline that keeps its fans coming back for more."

Participants on NASCAR Wives will include:

• DeLana Harvick (pictured above)
  
• Shana Mayfield
• Kelley Earnhardt 
  
• Angie Skinner

Season 14 of The Amazing Race premieres on February 15.

While nothing can be confirmed, here are a few rumored spoilers for the show:

• There will be a deaf contestant;
• The race will end in Hawaii;
• The season will be shorter than usual, approximately 11 episodes.

Whitney Port got her own apartment last night, but didn't really get anywhere with boyfriend Jay Lyon - at least as far as defining their relationship. He would rather "not be defined" when it comes to relationships. Okay then.

Elsewhere, Erin Lucas and her boyfriend Duncan discussed long-distance relationships, while Olivia Palermo offered a lot of unsolicited advice to Whit.

Despite our recent praise of fresh, exciting, skankilicious reality stars such as Megan Hauserman and Daisy De La Hoya, we haven't forgotten about one of our all-time favorites.

The woman known as New York turns 27 today. She's now been alive for one more year than the number of STDs she's been tested for. That's nice.

Ready for an evening chock full of stuck-up, spoiled women?

The second season of The Real Housewives of New York City will premiere Tuesday, February 17 on Bravo, immediately following the fourth-season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Once again, The Real Housewives of New York City will to chronicle the daily lives of  Alex McCord, Bethenny Frankel, Jill Zarin, LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer as they balance their home and work schedules with the demands of the New York and the Hamptons social scenes.

It's a truly tough life. We sympathize with the plight of these wives everyday.

Meanwhile, Kelly Killoren Bensimon will join the show for its second season.

Bensimon splits her time between the NYC and East Hampton. She previously starred on Behind the Hedges, a reality series that aired on Plum TV, a small cable network that can only be viewed in eight rich communities around the country.

Jason Mesnick's quest for love began last night, with 25 women flaunting their assets and begging for his attention. Hot dog toppings, oral hygiene and single parenting were discussed a lot, and some new twists shook things up.

In the end, 10 girls had to go home. Who got the boot and who stuck around?

What's there to say about last night's Rock of Love Bus series premiere?

The show featured your basic array of desperate, drunk women, partying it up with an over-the-hill, STD-laden rock star.

In the first of the two following clips, though, even Bret Michaels is grossed out by the actions of one hopeful suitor...

DeAnna Pappas who?

Jason Mesnick, 32, the handsome, single dad who dropped to one knee to profess his love in the season finale of The Bachelorette, only to be spurned, is back and better than ever as the star of The Bachelor tonight.

Following his rejection by Pappas, who opted for Jesse Csincsak instead (only to break up with him months later), Jason gave himself time to heal, but ultimately decided to delve back into the world of reality TV love a second time.

His story - a single father from Seattle with a three-year-old son, Ty - captivated a nation. Tonight, he begins anew - and the journey ends with an engagement!

But who's the lucky lady who captures the heart of Jason Mesnick? We'll find out soon enough ... and we can't wait to watch the drama unfold.

You've heard about the Rock of Love Girls: Charm School reunion fight between Sharon Osbourne and Megan Hauserman.

You've seen backstage pictures of the latter before the event.

Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels, the rocker's third attempt at finding a soulmate on reality television, premiere last night.

And we could sum up the series premiere by reciting Bret's reaction to Ashley, who he described as “beautiful in a Juliette Lewis kind of way," adding that she's like “Natural Born Killers with bigger breasts.”

Or we could quote another contestant, who sold herself as "everything I think a guy would want, actually. I’m different, I’m cool, I’m fun. I’m a little bit not too smart, but it’s OK!”
