On the heels of American Idol's eighth season premiere tonight - visit our site often throughout the next six months as we report the latest news and views from the show - David Cook and Kimberly Caldwell have gone public with their break up.

"Kimberly and David ended their relationship just before the holidays," Caldwell's rep said. "The couple remain good friends and, being very private people, appreciate their privacy at this time."

The couple began dating last May.

Kimberly Caldwell is no longer the one for David Cook.

After much pool-partying, group dating and kissing Monday evening on The Bachelor, Jillian, Melissa and Molly received roses prior to the big ceremony, where Jason Mesnick also awarded the beautiful flowers to:

Goodbye, mansion. Hello, beaches!

The Travel Channel has officially announced the premiere date for Bridget Marquardt's follow-up show to The Girls Next Door. Look for Bridget's Sexiest Beaches to premiere on Thursday, March 12.

"We are thrilled to work with Bridget as she embodies the sense of freedom and escape that truly captures the entertaining spirit of the Travel Channel," said network executive Michael Klein. 

On Bridget's Sexiest Beaches, Marquardt will travell to some of the world's most exotic seaside locations. She'll sample indigenous cuisine, check out local fashions and, of course, find the best place to party.

She'll also likely wear very little clothing while doing all this.

Corn Fed was selected by Real to be his soulmate on last night's finale of Real Chance of Love.

According to an interview with VH1, however, the relationship - shockingly - might already be in trouble...

Since the show wrapped, have you been in contact with Real?
Yeah. Right when the show wrapped, I was on such a high. I fell for him. I had such strong feelings. I thought, “This is the one for me.” I fell in love on reality TV – crazy! We kept in touch, calling and texting. “I love you,” and talking about future plans and this and that. About a month went by and it’s almost like it kind of faded. We got busy.

What’s going to happen?
Well, with the distance as well as being busy, things aren’t as great as they were. We still keep in touch, though. It’s been so hard.

Do you see things reigniting?
Anything can happen. I haven’t seen him. That’s what’s so hard about this whole reality thing. It’s so hard to stay in a close relationship. I still care about him so much and I know how I felt at the time was real. I know I could feel that again. Seeing him at the reunion* will maybe make that spark come back. But it’s unrealistic to have a long distance relationship, given the circumstances.

We’re not allowed to see each other and we’re not really even allowed to talk before the reunion. I moved to California, now, though. I’m two doors down from Cali, my BFF. From the outside, she and I are such opposites, but when it comes to guys, we both believe in the same things.

On last night's second episode of Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels, the rocker asked his suitors to bring him a pretend wedding gift and write him pretend wedding vows. After all, Michaels said to them:

"The only way to be by my side, is if I can see you as my bride."

Among the nuggets the contestant gave up with for vows were:

• I promise to cook you the best, rockin’ food and never, ever wear panties.
• I will be your umbrella in the rain.
• If there’s ever a tear to fall from your perfect face, I will kiss it away until a tender smile blesses me.

When can you next see Nigel Barker judging America's Next Top Model?

“We just finished shooting our last season, and it will be on air again in March or April,” Nigel said at the Hunger and Hope art exhibition in New York City last week. “We start shooting season 13 in May and season 14 in September. It’s never-ending! I hope you’re not bored of my face. I’m not going anywhere.”

Not only isn't Barker leaving the popular reality show, he may even appear on another series: Gossip Girl.

“If there’s a reason for it. I’ve done a few cameos before,” he said. “I’m not an actor. That’s one of the things about being on a reality show – I can be myself. But Gossip Girl is fun. There are some pretty girls there. It wouldn’t be hard to shoot them.”

Kim Kardashian is an expert at drumming up attention.

Via a sex tape or the teasing of an engagement, this reality TV star has mastered the celebrity gossip game.

The most recent example too place late last week, as E! Online asked Kim about the possibility that boyfriend Reggie Bush would propose during an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The large-breasted star didn't exactly shoot down the rumor.

"It's supposed to be a surprise, right?" Kardashian said.

The 28-year-old added that her professional football-playing beau would be making more appearances than usual on upcoming third season of the reality series.

"Reggie is an extremely private person," Kardashian said of Bush. "He hates being famous. He hates the paparazzi. He hates the whole scene of it all. But you will see him more this season. He's gotten a little more comfortable."

In order for Brody Jenner to garner a new best friend via his new reality show, Bromance, the aspiring bros must first pass the all-important BFF test.

Enter Lauren Conrad.

In a preview of Monday's episode of Jenner's MTV series, Bromance, Conrad quizzes potential "bros" on topics like one-night stands and pick-up lines.
