DeAnna Pappas' New Gig: Wedding TV Show Host!

The Bachelorette star DeAnna Pappas didn’t get her happily ever after on reality TV, but she’ll be helping other brides-to-be plan their dream weddings. It may seem a bit odd, considering what she just went through, but she's psyched!

DeAnna, who recently called off her engagement to show winner Jesse Csincsak, will be co-hosting Lifetime network’s Get Married.

The second season of Get Married premieres January 5. DeAnna Pappas announced her new gig on the show's blog, writing:

“I am so happy to be co-hosting the new season of Get Married! Every weekday morning I will be bringing you the latest in wedding planning tips and trends, and weekly I will be blogging here at bloggerbrides.com.”

A DeAnna Pappas Picture

“Many of you may know me from seeing me on television looking for love ... The second show, many of you watched as I got down to one man ... he got down on one knee and proposed to me ... unfortunately we have since gone our separate ways but still remain very good friends. From my personal love experiences and sharing the ups and downs of love with my friends, I have become a go-to girl among my girlfriends who have become beautiful brides themselves.”

In light of her recent breakup with Jesse Csincsak, some question if DeAnna really makes the best co-host of a wedding show. It does make you think.

But Get Married CEO Stacie Francombe, who hired Pappas after watching her on The Bachelorette’s fourth season, says DeAnna is right for the job.

  1. TV Says:

This girl is a horrible and selfish person. Wow, who'd let her host a show about getting married? Will she be looking for another husband on the show? She's probably just using this to "launch" her career...bad decision.

  2. Shelley B Says:

Yeah, Perfect for the show if people dump people on the show.

  3. laura B Says:

Why would anyone go to this woman for advice on getting married and planning a wedding? Is she an authority in some way? It seems she needs to spend a little time figuring out what the heck she wants before she offers anybody advice!!

  4. Laurie Says:

I think its a terrible choice. I think a better choice for her would be to hook up with Andy Baldwin since he's a jerk also. To think he was going to officiate their marriage when he couldn't keep a steady girl himself and NOW DeAnna is going to co-host a wedding show when she knows NOTHING about getting married - she didn't even get to the planning stages - and someone will take advise from her? I might as well apply for Bill Gates job - know what these people know - I'd get his job! Ya Think! Jesse - it was a BLESSING in disguise!

  5. Lara Says:

I agree -- terrible decision. This girl just broke this poor guy's heart on the way to the altar. There's got to be someone better for the job!

  6. renee Says:

What a joke! Why would anyone seek advice from someone who doesn't have character. Hope the show is cancelled.

  7. E. Ramirez Says:

She played the "victim" when the Bachelor chose NOT to choose. Then, she chose the one she could manipulate. Let's face it Jason and Jeremy were both older and more mature. She was not going to be able to play with them. Instead she chose a "kid" with no character, and then dupmped him. BAD GIRL I hope you pay for it big

  8. Bama Says:

Note to Stacie Francombe: Good luck finding an audience. Terrible choice! I for one wouldn't watch it now if it were the last show on earth. Expect a cancellation within a week because of HER.

  9. BAC Says:

Bad choice on so many levels. How can DeAnna give advise to BRIDES when she has no credibility when it comes to managing a relationship, being honest, being a bride or running a wedding? She said she was so sure about Jesse, then without giving Breckenridge a try in the winter she does a 180 and heads for Hollywood. She`ll learn that wanting to live in a fairy tale is wishing for trouble. How will she deal with the fact that the brides are the stars not her? Poorly. I won`t watch.

  10. Jen Says:

Huh? What is wrong with this picture? I won't be watching "Get Married". What a slap in Jesse's face, and ours! Who does she think she is? DeAnna has no character; she's after her 5 minutes of fame. She won't get it from me.
