Cody Linley may have been the youngest contestant in the history of Dancing with the Stars, but the actor didn't act his age all season.

Along with partner Julianne Hough, Cody impressed viewers and judges alike, earning a spot in the competition's semi-finals.

Sadly, his adorable, inspiring run came to an end last night, when Linley was voted off the show. But the rising star was as classy about the elimination as he is cute:

“Words can’t even explain the true, amazing, growing, learning journey that I’ve had on the show,” he said.

With Linley ousted, next week's final comes down to a trio of tandems:

• Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer
• Brooke Burke and Derek Hough
• Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson
