While American Idol premieres on January 13, Simon Cowell and company have been making the audition rounds across the country for weeks now.

As a result, the identities of those that received their coveted golden tickets to Hollywood have begun to leak. Here's a look at a few contestants whose names may eventually become as familiar as Carrie, Kelly, Clay and others...

• David Osmond: The nephew of Donny and Marie Osmond.
• Michael Castro: Brother of season seven finalist and possible pot head, Jason Castro.
• Danielle Roundtree: Crowned Miss New York in 2008.
• Actress Jackie Tohn: Appeared in shows such as The Closer and The Sopranos.

Remember to take these rumors with a grain of salt as large as Simon's ego. We'll cover all of season eight in detail once it debuts.

Congratulations from stunned friends and colleagues have been pouring in for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt after The Hills couple eloped in Mexico.

"I am surprised and not surprised at the same time," Audrina Patridge said.

"They obviously adore each other and are very committed to one another. Heidi and Spencer seem like the types who would want a lavish wedding full of friends and family. I do think it's very romantic that they eloped."

Co-star Whitney Port, who will star in The City, a New York-based spin-off of The Hills next year, told Extra: "Congratulations to them. I think it's great if that's what they're ready to do. Good for them."

Heidi and Spencer eloped last Friday in Cabo San Lucas.

Will we see the wedding of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt on The Hills next season? We're hoping for it, but aren't sure as these things lag behind real time by months, and the whole elopement in Mexico was a bit of a shock.

You'd have to imagine that these two would find any way possible to cash in - if they stage random bikini photos and touristy pics in Washington, D.C., they'd pimp the hell out of their wedding, right? This is Spencer Pratt!

There must be more to this sham wedding than meets the eye. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as more details are bound to emerge.

Brandi Cunningham learned a very important lesson during her time on Rock of Love Girls: Charm School: tequila sucks!

The recently-eliminated contestant spoke with MTV this week, as she responded to a question about the blackout viewers saw on the show...

What was your reaction to seeing yourself in that blackout?
Very embarrassing. I’m never drinking tequila again. I don’t even know how I spit that far or well in my state. I’m a very congested person. I get chronic sinus infections. So maybe that has something to do with it? I don’t understand my aim, though. You saw me on I Love Money, I couldn’t spit for the life of me. Then I get wasted on tequila and everything changes. I should enter a spitting contest or something. It’s horrible, though. I feel really bad. If someone spit on me, I’d be really upset. I’m just glad that Destiney actually forgave me and that I had the chance to tell her at that moment how sorry I was.

Did you learn anything?
I learned the right forks to use for salads and main courses, and where the cups go. I learned that I don’t look good with a big, prosthetic nose and black hair.

How are you and NeNe getting along? Have you had that glass of wine yet?
We have not had that glass of wine to be honest with you. Hopefully in the very near future, now that the show has calmed down and life is a little bit calmer, we’ll actually sit down and have a conversation. I heard that NeNe was upset about the footage of her [singing about me] in the limo. Her intention wasn’t to hurt my feelings. With that being said, NeNe and I have been friends for a long time. I think she’s great. She’s funny and entertaining, and my older daughter (Brielle) just adores her.

Are still going forward with plans to record an album?
I’m actually working with WEJ Records, it’s an independent label, and they’re negotiating a contract for major distribution. This all happened recently [after the show aired]. They have a new song for me, which I’m crazy about. I’m not gonna tell you the name quite yet. It’s a little different, not country. I hope I get the opportunity to show people I’m able to sing.

Reality TV fans will soon be under siege from a washed up action star.

A&E has announced production on Steven Seagal: Lawman, a series that will focus on Seagal's work as a fully-commissioned deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana.

On the show, viewers will follow around the actor as he and his hand-selected deputies respond to crimes as they happen. Naturally, we'll also watch Seagal pursue personal interests, including musical performances and philanthropic efforts.

"It's such an amazing revelation that this larger-than-life star has been doing real police work for nearly 20 years," said 

Senior Vice President of A&E Robert Sharenow.

Might this series lead to Under Siege 3? Apparently so.

The Hills' Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have "just" eloped in Mexico, according to celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton. They married Thursday, November 20.

Spencer and Heidi tied the knot on the beach at the One & Only Palmilla Resort, just outside posh Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they had been on vacation.

According to reports, it wasn't planned. The lovebirds were already enjoying a romantic getaway in Cabo and decided to get married on a whim - so they say.

No, no, no. Barney didn't officiate at the wedding of The Hills' Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, although it certainly would have been appropriate.

There were no family members present for the ceremony. In fact, so far the Speidi wedding has not been publicly commented on ... even by Speidi.

As of right now, this is sort of unconfirmed, as even their families are not confirming it (and certainly weren't present if it did happen). But there's already an Us Weekly cover featuring Speidi floating around, so stay tuned.
